Safari wont run ??

Question

Hi,
I am having issues with safari and also with software update and a 3rd party progam - winext.
The problem is that when i go to open the programs they crash immediately, their icon will appear and bounce in the dock but then disappear withing about 5 seconds.
Below is the console report from tonight. Any idea wat my issue is?
note: we also have a imac 600mhz running 10.3.8 and it does not have these issues

Im not sure if this is relevant to my problem but i tried to run disk repair and it failed, giving me this message:
overlaped extent allocation (file 7694d)
incorrect block count for file southwestresizecursor.tiff
(it should be 129 instead of 1)
invalid extent entry
volume check failed
Anybodies help on this issue would be gr8,
