I have downloaded a game from big fish games but it won't run any tip's please / THANKS .
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

Big Fish Games stop working in Mavericks. What do I do? I have re-installed them and the manager app, and nothing. I have not gotten an answer from Big Fish tech staff. Thought the problem might be with Maverick. all the games worked with Snow Leopard
Any body have this kind of problem. What was done to correct it. . .I can't wait to get a new phone as well. LG Revolution owners should be comped for this phone if Verizon intends to keep them as customers.

Most downloads are free, but serial numbers usually cost money. I don't know what Technet is, but if they are not Adobe and are offering something for free then you probably want to pursue them instead of Adobe.

I had exactly the same problem as you describe, except I did not also try the update through DM.
On the advice of some folks in another forum, I tried a different WiFi connection instead of my home WiFi connection. I went to a local bookstore and used their WiFi for the update, and it worked perfectly on the first try. I'm not sure why, as the download seemed to be successful at home, and the failure was during installation, but it worked. So give that a shot. -

Check V$TRANSPORTABLE_PLATFORM, it shows the ending for each supported platform. Given the results on my 11g, I suspect that you'll have to convert the tablespaces...

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you won't get the reset option - you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get them reset.
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'

I bought Mystery Trackers The Void FULL edition in April, and Redemption Cemetery Curse of the Raven HD in March. I have receipts for both. Recently I've had to download apps due to a reset. As usual when you buy an app you don't pay for it again if for any reason you need to download again.....WRONG! Apple charged me full price for both in my next invoice. I emailed to point out their mistake and they said that they were different apps, oh they were not free, oh they are not included as products that can be downloaded again, oh there is different type of apps you can/cannot download again..........
It got to the point I called them, 2hrs 40 minutes later, the technician on the phone, after many minutes of background music, told me that no one in customer service wanted to talk to me as they had decided I wasn't getting a refund, so they had no intention to talk to me. They said that The void, full unlock, is different from The Void Full edition....well it's the same, only diff is one is purchased from within the free version and the other direct! Also when I was in the process of downloading the iPad screen banner came on as said...this download is free as you have already purchased...yet Apple saw fit to charge.

I am so disappointed that Apple quite obviously charged me twice for both, sent me several emails with stupid excuses why, then would not talk to me on the telephone, leaving me only with a member from technical services telling me they won't budge on the refund and gave me other excuses. I wonder if they do this with everyone, imagine how much money they make on the side. What is default terminal setting for "safe sleep" for iMac C2D
I happened to use a widget for "deep sleep" which frankly I decided I did not need. Of course, after trashing same per the widget directions - the widget had changed a "setting" effecting sleep on the computer. Silly me.
There was an article in MacWorld last fall about "3" being the safe sleep mode to set a laptop (recent) from the terminal command line...but no reference to the iMac .

Not a major crisis, just want to set the "sleep code" number back to how the unit shipped from Apple!

iMac Intel C2D 2.16 GHz Mac OS X (10.4.10) 1 GB RAM, Printer HPC3180, Sounds SticksII-Z Harman KardonWhen I had the widget installed, I set it for "deep sleep" if I recall properly. After deciding to trash the widget and its preference file, I noticed that when I put the computer to sleep via the "apple" menu - the light on the monitor quickly went out entirely.
Although I could still "rouse" the computer the by tapping the keyboard etc., the wake up process was extremely slow - in fact, the computer opened up to a gray version of the desktop ...followed by a progress bar...which when completed...opened the desktop to its full Apple glory.
Perhaps, the widget set the computer to the hibernate mode - etc. I actually set the computer back to "0" via the terminal command...but since I didn't know the original default setting, I thought I'd ask...and sadly, I could not find the answer anywhere...hence the query to Apple users.

The recent changes in the Apple website appear to make it impossible to download a software update to run on a system other than the one you use to download. I have an iMac at home (dial up), but used to download from my PC at work which has a faster connection. Now even when I go to the Mac download page for a product (Quicktime 7.3 recently), when I select download the site reads the OS on my computer and redirects me to the PC download page. Any way around this?

Hmm. This might work. I tested it with Safari set to send the Windows browser string. When I went to the QuickTime download page, I got offered the Windows one. But I figured out the URL of the little download section for the Mac. Try that link when you're at work, see if it works.
I'd also suggest you visit the QuickTime feedback page and suggest that they add a link to that page so you can download the Mac version from a PC and vice versa. They do it for iTunes so I don't know why they wouldn't for QT.
