Sale Order close - Mass

Hi! All
     Can anybody say me how to close the sale order in mass.
   I have some 1000 of sale order how to close the sale order in mass.
   if the deliveries relating to the sale order has been closed shall we close the sale order directly. if so how to do it.

Hi KV,
Close the sales order by using MASS transaction. select the object type: BUS2032(sales orders) and execute. In the tables tab select the sales order header data and in the fields tab select Rejection reason and execute. In the next screen give your sales order( first save in all the orders in an excel file and upload) and execute. select sales order item data and put your order rejection reason and click on " carry on mass change" icon. The data will be changed and if there are any errors they will be reflected in the error log.

I want to generate sales orders in mass through marketing campaign
I have done the following customizing :
- create a new transaction type used for the Template : sales order template ZSOT and assign to it template type "D"
- assign item categories to this new transaction type ZSOT
- enter as communication medium for the channel : the sales order ZSOM that I want to be created in mass (based on the Template)
- copy control between the 2 transactions : ZSOT and ZSOM
- copy control between the item categories
- Then I create in the Web Client UI, a sales order template ZSOT with material and quantity
- Then I create a marketing campaign and choose as communication medium the sales order and assign the sales order template ZSOT previously created
- I assign a Target Group to the Campaign
- I release the campaign
- I start it to execute it
=> I obtain the message : "To generate sales orders products and quantities have to be assigned."
However the Sales Order Template contains a product and a product quantity
Any idea how to solve the issue ? Is there any step missing on my customizing

I have the same problem which you have explained in your thread and i have done the same settings that are mentioned by you.
Even i have tried all the possibilities to get rid of this error but i am unable to resolve this problem.
As per your inputs i have inputted the product in a Campaign but there is no option for entering quantity.
The error i am repeatedly getting is "*To generate sales orders products and quantities have to be assigned* upon executing the campaign.
I appreciate your earliest reply.

In the case of complex make to order scenario, through MRP, the Project shall be assigned to the sales order. Then there will be milestone billling and all. In the case of mass production MTO, it is only creation of production order for each sales order item and each sales order item shall have sales order cost estimate.

Sales-order-related mass production

Dear all:
Our client has the following bussiness scenarios in PP: sales-order-related mass production .
So in costing configuration , I use the valuated sales order stock, and not let the sales order item carry the revenue and cost .
So I I haven't actived the "sales order" in okkp, and also make the filed "consumptiong posting filed "in account assignment category "blank", and in the "valuation filed" in "requirment class " I maintained "M", and I want to use the sales order item cost estimate value as the standard price , but when in testing , after run MRP and convert the planned order into the production order, the error occurs " You cannot make an assignment to make-to-
stock.", so my question is that, in sales-order-related mass production, can we following in the such process:
1 create sales order
2 run mrp and generate the planned order
3 convert planned order to production order ?
by the way:
The material 's material type is "KMAT", and strategy group is "25", and requirment class is "46"
and I use the "valuated sales stock".

Have you refered OSS Note 723180?
The MRP generates planned orders to meet the requirements.The KZBWS is copied from the requirement to the planned order which should meet the requirements.During the subsequent conversion planned order -> Production order, the 'Goods receipt, non-valuated' flag is set unrequiredly.If you created an MRP run manually and if the account assignment was carried out to the project, the KZBWS would be set as account valuation filedin "requirment class " if I maintained "M".
You should set Customizing in such a way that both the requirements class of the sales order and the used material same valuation indicator. For the sales order, it is field V_T459K-KZBWS. During the creation of production order it is found that the account assignment on the sales order . Afterwards the order can be saved and a goods receipt can be posted to the sales order stock.
Or other way is Configurable materials that are also made-to-stock must have a configuration valuation in the material master record - therefore they must be maintained as a variant (storage type). In this the material itself can be referenced as a 'configurable material' (variants and 'configurable materials' with BOMs are then one and the same material).

Deleting Open sales order - in mass

When i checked VA05 , I found many open sales order over a period of time.I want to know whether any method is there to select some sales orders from that list and delete them in mass ie at one stretch.

Third party sales order close

Hi Experts,
How to close the open quantity in third party sales order if Purchase order is already generated from that sales order.
i am unable to update the reason of rejection field in Sales order.
It is giving message "Delete purchase order 8300000013, item 00010'.
but my require ment is if third party order is generated and vendor has supplied less quantity than Sales order quantity
then i want to close the open quantity in sales order,

I have checked that we cannot reject the sales order item ,until some subsequent process exits for it(SAP NOTE 403524).
so rejection is ruled out.
But problem remains that is lesser quantity is shipped than order quantity,than what to do with the open quantity in sales order.how to close them. any other workaround is there.

Mass upation of Sales Orders Tcode : MASS

Thru tcode MASS I want to change the tax classification field (vbap u2013 taxm1). I am allowed to change in for Standard Orders (OR) but the system does not allow me to invoke any changes for Returns (ZRNS in our case) .
I am selecting Object type BUS2032. Is it the correct Object type or has some other Object type got to be configured for Return Orders. Or do I have to make some changes in config for the Order type (ZRNS for Returns). Please help. I have to change the tax classification of many orders.

BUS2032 is the correct Business Object type for Sales Order. Not sure why you are unable to process the MASS T-Code for return order. May be you have some authorization issues. Check with your respective basis team.

Want to change output type for 10000 sales orders through MASS

Hi Friends,
I would like to change the Output type in the sales order for 10000 sales orders.
Can I do with MASS transaction. If so, Plz let me know how ?
Is there any other process to change the output type for 10000 sales orders, as its difficult to manually in each and every sales order.
Its very urgent issue, Plz let me know at the earliest.

This may be little tough for 10000 sales orders.
1. You have to remove the output record for the irrelevant output record using tcode VV12 for the relevant document type. So now for the document type, the old output wont be triggered.
2. Now, create output records for hte correct output type in VV11 tcode(for the output type BA03) for the document type. Now this output will be triggered for all the document types you are creating from now onwards.
3. To trigger the output type BA03, in all the old orders, you just have to open these sales orders in change mode (VA02), and just save it. When u open it the output type BA03 will be automatically triggered as the master data is maintained in VV11. But because just opening all the 10000 sales orders in VA02 one by one be a mechanical task, you have to think of some tool for this.
May be a CATT procedure can do the trick. Else, you can just create a small program, where you can upload these sales orders and the program will just open these orders in change mode and just saves it (without making any changes). Then the output will be retriggered.
Here again, if you are printing the output directly, it is advisable to trigger the output in batch mode(Date/Time field is 1 in VV11), and then you can again trigger the printing again using the program RSNAST00 after office hours for these 10k orders.

How can I cose a sale order completely at header level having more than one line items so that no schedule line can be used for delivery.

There are more than one sale orders of the same material at a time for different customers having daywise schdule.System confirms the complete qty.in sale order used in first.While I need partely qty.to be sale to the other customer also.How can I transfer the qty.confirmed in first sale order to other sale order.

Short Close Sales Orders

Hi All,
I have a sales order for say 1000 qty and i have delivered 900 qty. There are no further deliveries going to be posted against these Order. Now I want to close this Order. Usually I go to Sales Order---- Item details--Schedule Lines--change the order qty equal to Confirmed qty. This way the order gets closed and does not come in Open Sales Order report.
Now I have many such sales orders where i have posted deliveries and no further deliveries are to be posted.
How do I close these Sales Orders in Mass.

The solution is provided by Mr.Lakshmipathi..
I think we can make the order qty as 900 in va02, and then also it has the same effect as 'CLOSED'.

We need to see your requirement by breaking it into two steps. Both are possible.
1) Generating Mass orders in CRM using the marketing Projects.
2) Creating ERP order.
Technically what you want is achievable. Personally i have not done it, but am confident it is possible.

Profit Center change in Sales Order by Profit Center reorganization

I heard in EhP5, there is function called "Profit Center Reorganization".
For my requirement, this function can be used?

How to find the Sales Order Overall Status (VBUK-GBSTK) modified Date?

Hi Experts,
A Sales Order could get automatically closed at the point of Packing or Invoicing, At this point the field GBSTK in table VBUK turns to status 'C' means Closed. This could also happen when Sales Order Line Items Rejection Reason is filled.
I want to find the Date when GBSTK got modified in this way I would know the exact Date of the Sales Order Close. At the moment this is not shown in Sales Order (VA02, VA03) or in the table VBUK. I have searched everywhere to locate the Date. I need you help.

Although VBUK is mentioned (Tx SCDO, Tab TCDOB) for the ChangeLog Object VERKBELEG, you won't find anything in CDHDR due to the fact that Data element GBSTA's Log-Frag (DD04D-LOGFLAG) is not switched on.
For Workaround you might try Audit Trail

Output control of Sales order

Dear all,
Do anyone know is there a mass print out function for sales order in standard SAP?
As I know, there is a mass output function to print out the billing doc (VF31).
But I cannot find any function to print out the sales order in mass.
Anyone help?

Hi Chris,
You can use SD70VA1A as it was already mentioned or you can use RSNAST00 for application V1 based on whether the outputs are triggered real time or background(Despatch time 1 or 4) If Despatch time is 4, you cant use RSNAST00, u have to use only SD70VA1A. For Despatch time1, you can use RSNAST00 and SD70VA1A too.
VF31 is also nothing but SD70VA3A. So the SD70 series of programs are meant for triggering the outputs of various application and RSNAST00 is generic to all the applications.

How to Close Mass Open Sales Orders (Partially / not executed ) at one go

We are having lots of OPEN SALES ORDERS , few are COMPLETELY OPEN and rest are PARTIALLY used .Now my requirement is to CLOSE all such Sales Order at one go ie. MASS CLOSING OF OPEN SALES ORDER .

First have those open order references in an excel sheet.
Go to MASS, input Object Type BUS2032 and execute. There block "Sales order header data" and click on "Fields". There select the field "MASSSDHEAD_S-LIFSK" and execute.
Now click on "Multiple selection" (right arrow), copy those order references and press "Shift+F12" and execute. There on top, assign some block and execute. All your sale orders will be blocked.
On the other hand, you can also change the status of those sale orders by assigning "Reason of Rejection" in mass. To achieve this, go to TCode MASS, input Object Type BUS2032 and execute. There block on "Sales Order Item Data" and click on "Fields". There block the field "MASSVBAP-ABGRU" and execute. Follow the same procedure as explained above.
Now see the document flow of those sale orders.
