Sales District field as a key combination in Exclusion

In standard exclusion tables . Sales district field is not there in the field cataloque. Is it possible to include Sales district in the field cataloque..If so how? .

Thanks for your response. but the field "BZIRK" is not in the standard Field cataloque. Hence i get the message
Field BZIRK does not exist in table KOMGG, KOMKG, or KOMPG
Please guide me how to go about this. Also if i add the "Z" filed , will it flow in all my trasactions.

Sales District problem inn 2LIS_12_VCITM as its available in datasource

Dear All.
i have modify the standard cube 0SD_C03 and added a Sales District in Organization dimension my requirement is to show the Incoming order quantity, Delivery quantity and Billing Quantity with respect to Sales District / Region.
i am filling the 0SD_C03 cube with the following data sources 2LIS_11_VAITM, 2LIS_12_VCITM and 2LIS_13_VDITM
but when i run the report the data is inconsistency due to the document type Deliveries does not filling the Sales District.
when i check the RSA3 extractor program both the other datasource are showing the Sales District data but 2LIS_12_VCITM is not displaying the Sales District field but this field is available in the datasource.
i try alot because according to the documentation it is quite straight that data source 2LIS_12_VCITM contain the Sales District field and it is available in LBWE.
it is not showing in the RSA3 extractor and nor filling the cube.
i am using BI7.0 and connecting with SAP 4.7.
any help will be highly appreciated.

i haven't change the extractor i only change the InfoCube 0SD_C03 by adding the Sales District characteristic the field sales district already there in the datasource 2LIS_12_VCITM i can see it in R/3 using LBWE.
but when i load this datasource in my cube there is all data but the filed sales district is empty and this is only for this datasource the other two datasources fill the data along with sales district field.
then i check this datasource in RSA3 in R/3 side and it also not showing the data for this field, but this filed is part of the datasource.
i hope i have clear the question.

Sales District in a sales order

In the customer records the Sales District field (BZIRK) is entered on on 10% of the customer records.
When a Sales order is created details are copied from the customer record and the Sales District is entered into the item SalesB tab.
The users need to decide on the correct sales district for that sales order. this may not be the one recorded on the customer details. Not that this is necessarily inaccurate, just not the right one for this sales order.
I have two queries:
1 How can the sales district NOT be copied over to the sales order
2 How can I make an entry in the Sales Order mandatory
I am sure that this is a config thing.

1. If your order is copied from a reference document (quote etc) then you can clear off the variable VBKD-BZIRK in a copy control data transfer routine in VTAA between the source quote and target order types
2. In any case, you can clear off VBKD-BZIRK in the user exit routine userexit_check_vbkd in MV45AFZB include. I just tried this by putting a break point in the aforesaid routine and can confIrm, that clearing VBKE-BZIRK here will clear it off in Goto -> Header -> Sales while creating the order in VA01. You too can confirm this by putting a break point in the routine userexit_check_vbkd
3. Regarding adding VBKD-BZIRK to incompletion log, first check out the incompletion procedure assigned to your Sales order type in VUA2. Come to OVA2, select Group 'A' (Sales header) -> Click on Procedures -> Select the Procedure assigned to your Sales order type -> Click on Fields -> add the entry like below

VBKD BZIRK Sales district KKAU 01
KKAU means Sales -> Header screen in VA0n transactions and status 01 means general incompletion error

Changing Fields Historically on Billing Documents - Sales District

Hi
Is it possible to change fields historically on a billing document ?
I wish to change the sales district (VBRK-BZIRK) on Historic Billing documents.
This is due to an external reporting system we use - Business Objects.
I am able to change the same field on the sales order VBKD-BZIRK, but not on the Billing document
Is there a MASS change program available to use at all ?

Yes,you are right.
We cannot change them in billing document.
There are two options.
1)Cancel all those billing documents using VF11 T.code.and mass change the sales order.Recreate the billing document using VF04 T.Code.
2)Develop a program for this.Using Batch job I think you can change.

Sales District in Sales Order

Hi All,
i create a Sales Order with these characteristics:
Header Level:
SOLD TO PARTY: A
Item Level:
Item 10: SHIP TO PARTY B
Item 20: SHIP TO PARTY C
Item 30: SHIP TO PARTY A
I have substituted manually the ship to party of Item 10 and Item 20 in Item Details/Partner tab.
It's all ok, but the field Sales District in Item Details/Sales B tab, is the same of SOLD TO PARTY A, for all three items.
Why it doesn't change automatically when i replace the ship to party of item 10 and item 20?
There is a way to change it automatically?

yes i need this field for statistical use... and for COPA analysis.
My colleagues of CO would like use this characteristic in function of different ship to parties in the order.
If i have a sales order, with ONE sold-to-party and three item-lines with THREE ship-to-parties, the COPA Analysis want to know the three sales district of ship to parties, not the sales district of SOLD TO PARTY.
The problem is that SAP users would like to change, at item level, only the ship to party and not the sales district, too. I would like to know if there is an automatic way to change sales district at item level in function of changing ship to party.

How to make sales district mandatory in sales order(va01) with the help of customization other than userexit/field exit
I can not use incompletion procedure because we have to give error message if this field is not filled.
Also this must be applicable on some order type

Hello Dharminder,
You can acheive this with Incompletion Procedure.
Define & Assign the Status Group with Tick mark in Check Box on General & other check Box. At the time of Saving the Sales Order system will clearly give warning message & list the feilds that are incomplete.
Alternatively, you can make Sales District Feild Mandatory in Sales Order by creating Screen Variant & assign the same to particular Sales Document Type. Just search forum with "Transaction Variant" & you will get necessary guidence.
This will clearly give a error message that Sales District feild is not filled.

In the derivation, of Customer group, Sales Group, Sales Office and Sales District in Profitability Analysis, the standard derivation looks into the table KNVV. But how to pickup the derivation from the sales document where the user selects the values against the said characteristics. Kindly share whether it is possible to derive the said characteristics from billing document table and how. Any valuable inputs shall be highly appreciated.

Am beginner for SAP SD, I have tons and tons of doubt. Most might me silly.
I need pricing for sales district of customer to be consider into SO. Can any 1 explain me clearly

Both are use for prizing.(See F1)
For ex:
I maintain condition record for Sales district in VK11, by considering Sales district filed in V/03.
in pricing procedure determination OVKK – Assignment is “Sales are +Cus Pr procedure + Doc pricing procedure.
System check only Sales are +Cus Pr procedure + Doc pricing procedure, I don’t think system considers “Sales district” maintained in CMR. How Sales district is getting linked in, for pricing when We have not assigned any were in pricing procedure determination?

Yes. It is. Because criteria you have mentioned is for Pricing Procedure determination but the Value you have maintained is the Condition Record with price.
Answer for your other 2 question is also same.
Simple suggestion: Read a book Sales & Distribution written by Glynn C Williams.
That will give you good insight about almost all the topics related to SD.

Sales District updation in Delivery header table

Dear Gurus,
Sales district is mandatory field in customer master and is copied to the sales orders, when the delivery document is created the sales district is not copied.
Is there any technical way or customization process to update the sales district in LIKP.
In this project we ARE NOT USING shipment and transportation process.
the process implemented here is Sales Order creation, followed by delivery creation (picking and Post goods issue) and finally Invoice creation and posting to accounts.
Kindly help me in achieving the updation of Sales district in LIKP table.

The current copy control setting between the sales order and delivery is as per the standards.
ie 001 - Header
Please suggest a better approach whether:
Data Transfer routine - 001 -Header (FV50C001) which is a default routine to be copied and add the logic of updating the sales district in delivery header and maintain in place of 001
or
copy the Data transfer routine - 002 - Business Data ( FV50C002) to a new routine activate the logic of copying the sales district from VBKD to LIKP and maintain in place of 001
The replies suggested by seniors is very helpful.

Customer Master - Assign Sales District to a Sales Area?

Hello,
In standard configuration, I can assign a Sales Office (VKBUR) to a Sales Area, and I can assign a Sales Group (VKGRP) to a Sales Office (VKBUR).
Is it possible, in standard configuration, to assign a Sales District (BZIRK) to a Sales Area? For example, if I have 20 Sales Districts that are used in the European sales area, I don't want the Asia sales area to see any of those Sales Districts, and vice versa.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As suggested, In standard process this is not possible. (Unless you have some userexit to control this-but have doubt whether this can be done)
Since in the back end the data base is same, so if in any field where drop down is available If a user press F4 he will get a complete list. Only thing is through Authorization one can have control or may be through favouties one can add those values in the list so that user can see them first..

1 sales order with 2 sales districts will spilt invoice into 2

Hi,
We have one issue here. We would like to create one Invoice based on two different sales districts.
After we key in one sales order with two differennt sales districts, the system generated only one sales order and only one Delivery Order, but unfortunately the system split the Invoice into two invoices. Instead of spliting into two, can I combine the invoices into one. Meaning, One Sales Order, generate One Delivery Order and One Invoice?

Hi Sim,
Invoices can be combined if your bill to party and the billing date of all the invoices are same.
This can be done througuh transaction VF06.
You can also check the transaction VTFL for your corresponding delivery and billling type and for your item category field VBRK/VBRP should have the value single invoice(routine -03).

Sales District and Partner function relationship in customer master

I am working on a report and need to know one table relation for sales District and Partner function
i have a requirement , where i want to list all the partner number/Partner function assign to the customer with ref to the sales District
we have one partner function Tab at sales Area tab in customer master , and another when we click on Sales district tab at header will get another window where we maintain partner function relate to the sales District , i want to have all those partner function in report , can you please help me where i can find that in table ? when i do F1 its says KNVP but that table maintain at the sales area leval , not for the Sales District !! if you can help

Do you have custom table/maintenance for sales district? Are you not maintaining Sales District in Sales Tab of customer master.
You have to look for the field and table where you have maintained sales distict along with Customer and join the customer with KNVP customers and get all the partners.
For Example - if you have mainationed sales district in KNVV table of BZIRK field then you have to join KNVV -KUNNR with KNVP-KUNNR and extract all records of customer distict and associated partner functions.
Let me know,if the given solution is not applicable for your case.
