Sales for the Period in FIGL_C10
Hello gurus,
How do I get the KF Sales for the Period populated in 0FIGL_C10, after activating standard business content it was not active?

I do not recall the error messages when activating.
I can see the inactive KF it has a grey diamond next to it and the mapping has an X. I have do not know how to activate it in the update rule that is the point of my question.

Restric materails from sales for certain period
Dear Gurus,
There are some materials that should be in quality inspection for specific period and after that period it should automatically release for unrestriced use stock. Basically we want to restric some material from sales for certain period and after that period it should be automatically avoid that restriction.

Chameendriusually a human changes a status with a material movement, e.g. thru usage decision if Quality module is used.
there is nothing in customizing or master data where you can say the material becomes saleable after 3 day lying in the shelfs.
the GR processing time can be extended to 3 days, so ATP can know that the material is not immediatly available after goods receipt.
But this does not change a stock status from blocked to unrestricted (or quality to unrestricted).
If you want this, then you have to write a report that checks how long the batch is already in Q-status and then calls a BAPI for posting a goods movement to change the status. and this report can then be scheduled to run in background once a day. -
I have a simple column chart grouping on 1 value on the category axis. For simplicity's sake, we are plotting $ amounts grouping by Month on the category axis. I right click on the data series and choose "Add calculated series...". I choose moving average. I want to move the average over at least 2 periods.
When I run the report, I get the error "Formula error - there are not enough data points for the period". The way the report is, I never have a guaranteed number of categories (there could be one or there could be 5). When there is 2 or more, the chart renders fine, however, when there is only 1 value, instead of suppressing the moving average line, I get that error and the chart shows nothing.
I don't think this is entirely acceptable for our end users. At a minimum, I would think the moving average line would be suppressed instead of hiding the entire chart. Does anyone know of any workarounds or do I have to enter another ms. connect bug/design consideration.

DanI was having the same error while trying to plot a moving average across 7 days. The work around I found was rather simple.
If you right click your report in the solution explorer and select "View Code" it will give you the underlying XML of the report. Find the entry for the value of your calculated series and enter a formula to dynamically create your periods.

What I'm doing here is getting the row count of records returned in the chart. If the returned rows are greater than or equal to 7 (The amount of days I want the average) it will set the points to 7. If not, it will set the number to the amount of returned rows. So far this has worked great. I'm probably going to add more code to handle no records returned although in my case that shouldn't happen but, you never know.
A side note:
If you open the calculated series properties in the designer, you will notice the number of periods is set to "0". If you change this it will overwrite your custom formula in the XML. -
POSTING ERROR-MESSAGE POSTING BALANCE NOT CLEARED FOR THE PERIOD 2/2008A

I have a problem in payroll posting. While posting for one employee's persn number rejected and gave a message as Posting Balance not cleared for the period 2/2008A. To come out of the problem I changed the Payroll status record using pu03 changed the Erliest Retro date as 01.06.2008. Again tried to post but not posted again same Message displayed. After changing the Erliest Retro record I have not run the payroll for the particular employee. Is it required to run the payroll for the employee after changing the status in PU03. Request to guide on this

The posting may be out of balance for the employee because their credits dont equal their debits...
Do a test posting for the employee with the log on, this will tell you what amounts are being posted - and should give you an inidcation of where the balance is not cleared...
Yes, you would have to re-run the employee if you'd changed the retro date in PU03, but I dont think that will fix your posting problem....Should the employee have retroe'd?
From what I have seen, just changing the control record doesn't usually fix an out-of balance..there is usually another reason....eg wagetype incorrectly posting to the wrong number of accounts....or a missing wagetype on the employee (eg bank details...no /559 for the net pay to go to).

Unfortunately the answer is no. Two reasons for it.
a. The period for which you want to post is already closed
b. The period for which you want to reverse the invoice falls before the period your invoice is created (as I have understood your question) which is not allowed....

I have a similar situation and I use views to restrict access depends on the users. I filter columns, the usersnever see the table (all columns) only the columns defined in the view

A/R, A/P and MM for the periods
Dear All,
I closed all periods for A/P, A/R and MM for July 2009 so no-one could post to them. However, because the GL was still open for June, July and August, it allowed others to post to A/R; A/P; MM. When closing the periods we have to leave the GL open for month-end closing Journal Entries. How do we keep others from posting to what we believe were closed periods?
Please clarify me.

View on actvity type planned for the period
Hi all ,
I am creating production plan through SOP for a long period say for ex 12 months.
Plan is transferred to demand management to create a demand programme. Then MRP is run to create planned orders to fulfill the plan.
Now i want that how can i display the activity planned over this period??? (in the actvity type units & the currency units)
Please if anybody can guide me on this, i am in urgent need of this for the client.

You need to go for LTP
In which you semulate the SOP and run LTP i.e. simulate MRP and transfer the planned order created to controlling through KSPP. Here you will get the quantity for all the activity type you are looking for, which you can transfer to KP26 directly.

I am using customized monthly lot size size key with Periodic lot size procedure and number of periods 3 months.
The MRP is creating one purchase requisitions for all the requirements for the first month only. The second and third month requirements are not included for the purchase requisition quantity. The second and third month requirements are kept opened without any PR.
The planning harizon is 100 days which is more than 3 months. There is no maximum lot size restrictions. But still why the purchase requisition quantity is not included the second and third month requirements.
Please give your valuable suggestions.

Error message PG009 : no data stored for the period
During upgrade testing from 4.7 to ECC6 noticing an error message PG009 with a suggested solution "In table T582A maintain the indicators 'Choose with start', 'Choose with end', 'Choose without date' for each infotype"
I am able to see recotds in 4.7, but however unable to view anything in ECC6. The message I get is No data stored for the time selected.We have the same problem - during upgrade phase. Any suggestions?
