  • Error message from delivery release to sales invoice drawing of data

    cannot post parent item with child item from delivery receipt to sales invoice
    error message is ar invoice rows- warehouse code lino:0 ],'no matching records found "inventory log message"]
    any suggestions on the remedy for this?

    the Bom is sales and i've changed the warehouse code so that the parent item together with the child items would be posted from delivery note/release towards the sales invoice,i've tested it at their test database and works just fine without any errors popping out.
    ive changed specifically where they draw the child items--instead of DIY001,Ive changed it to warehouse Diy005 warehouse, while i did not changed the warehouse assigned for the parent which is coded as DIY001
    Thank you Nat for spending time to answer my query. ive got to test some more data if ever the changed of business partner name would have an effect with the transactions. the reason why i am testing it is that they have a same Bp partner code for two persons.

    I have enter the sales bill through T-code FB70 at the time of entry i was not enterd the Co object like -cost center or profit center after save the invoice there was some mistake now i want to reverse the document in FB08 but it show an error that gl a/c requires a co object

    Hi,
    According to me, that may be the following case.
    You have posted the sales invoice via FB70 by crediting the sales without Cost Element. Now later on, either you have activated CO or defined the cost element for sales. Now you are reversing the invoice. Therefore, system is generating the message.
    Solution:
    If no transaction data exist for that cost element then delete it via KA04. Reverse the entry in FB08 and now again define the Cost Element in FS00.

  • Strange error in MIRO if sales invoice is priorly posted.

    Hello,
    Our scenario is, we create a Sale Order which creates a auto PR then with reference to this PR we are creating a PO then GR of this PO.
    Then, outbound delivery & then invoice which released to accounting. Then MIRO with reference to PO
    If we post the sales invoice & release for accounting & then if we do the MIRO for the PO then we're getting below error:-
    No account is specified in item 0000500002
    Message no. F5670
    Diagnosis
    No account was specified for account type "S" in item "0000500002" of the FI/CO document.
    System Response
    The Financial Accounting program cannot process the document.
    Procedure
    A system error has probably occurred in the application you called up. Check the data transferred to item "0000500002" of the FI/CO document.
    And if we cancel the sales invoice then above error is not coming & we're able to post the IR against PO in MIRO.
    So, is there any relation or link between sales invoice posting & IR via MIRO?
    We have invoice receipts in MIRO in last month which were successfully posted without any error even if we had posted sales invoice before it.
    Any idea about this error to get it fixed?

    Hello Ravi,
    Please check if the Cost condition is relevant for accruals in your scenario. If there is an update of the costs in a 3rd party process, there is no new account determination but the system use again the already determined accounts for the update posting. Please check if the Invoice posted on SD side has this accrual account posted.

  • Error in Material Assignment Group in Sales Invoice.

    Dear gurus,
    Basically i am FI consultant as here no SD consultant at client place so looking SD issues also. My problem is as follows:
    while creating Sales Invoice, System taking different Material Account Assignment group from Material Master <b>( Ex. in master AAG is 03, but system picking into Invoice another one i.e 04).</b> due to this system unable to post accounting document.
    Guide y system doing like this.

    AAG is 03-Finished Goods and 04-Raw Material (It can be different in your case, ofcourse). But if this is the case then normally Raw Material do not have sales view and Sales Order can not be created. So in all likely hood, The material had AAG 03 even at the time of creation of SO and you will not find any log in Environment -> Display Changes in Material Master (MM02/03) (But do check it, if it is there then you have the reason).
    Is it happening for all sales order or for one or two isolated case this had happened. If it is not an usual happening simply ignore it assuming clearical error.
    I hope you had no proble in posting after changing AAG to 03 thru VF02.

  • Error in Account Assignment from Material Master to Sale Invoice.

    Dear Gurus,
    Pls guide me to resolve this problem:
    When i am generating Sales Invoice through vf01, system taking Material Assignment Group as 04, but in material Master assignment Group is 03. Due to this system unable to post accounting document.
    Every time user changing that material assignment group through VF02 and saving to post account document ( after changing system posting FI doc).
    How system take Material Assignment Group in Sale Invoice. Till now i am checking only Material master. Wht are the other parameters to define Material Assignment group in Sales invoice. <b>This is happending to particular one material only</b>

    While you define account assignment in TCode VKOA, you have a provision for defining the gl accounts in the combination of the following:
    1. Cust.Grp/MaterialGrp/AcctKey
    2. Cust.Grp/Account Key
    3. Material Grp/Acct Key
    4. General
    5. Acct Key
    When you save an invoice it searches in the above order to find a GL account.
    May be your setting would have been done only in 1st or 3rd ie., assining the GL account in the combination of Cust.Grp/MaterialGrp/AcctKey and GL Account. Hence if the combination doesn't, it would not generate the accounting document.
    If your business process agrees you can define gl account in Account key (4) or General (5) also, by which it would generate an accounting document even if it finds a wrong material group.

    You can restrict Sales Invoice by Putting Transaction Notification.
    Please check below Two Transaction Notification. One Transaction Notification for Sales Invoice must be Copied from Sales Order and Second Transaction Notification for Authorized User Can Create Sales Invoice.

    Second Transaction Notification is for Authorized Person can Create Sales Invoice So in User Sign Please Put User Sign of those Users who are not Authorized to Create Sales Invoice.

    The reason maid be some billing document not getting released to accounting due to the Business Location xxxx  in Sold to party xxxx  is not extended to business type xxx.

    Delivered/invoiced quantities cannot be updated in CO
    Message no. KI137
    Diagnosis
    For account assignment object WBS BE/GW/01.01.07.01.20, the delivered or billed quantity is to be updated in the unit of measure MT for material number ST010013.
    The system has found a totals record (COSL) that already exists for the account assignment object WBS BE/GW/01.01.07.01.20 with unit of measure BAG. However, you cannot convert the quantity from MT to BAG.
    System Response
    The quantity cannot be updated in the totals record, which means that the quantity is missing for the receiver after the settlement of WBS BE/GW/01.01.07.01.20 (for example in CO-PA). Only the posted quantity is saved in the CO line item (COEPL table).
    Procedure
    Change the material BAG and define BAG in the master data record as an additional unit of measure.
    If you can have the quantity in MT in the COSL totals record without it causing any problems, you can deactivate this error message  in customizing, or change it to a warning or information message.
    To do this, see the implementation guide (IMG) for "General Controlling" under the following activity: Change Message Control (work area KI, message no. 137).

    From the issue description , it looks like the conversion unit for the material master record is missing .
    Goto MM02 and for the material , click on the " Addition Data " push button on the top , and maintain the conversion unit for BAG and MT .

    That's rather not group policy related, but depends on the application
    that prints your invoices. I'd suggest contacting the application vendor.

  • NAV 2013 R2; How to run a customized report (206 sales invoice) in the classic client

    Hello, in preparing a newly installed NAV 2013 R2, I'm questioning the following:
    In the Development Environment I have customized report 206 Sales - Invoice in the Design menu View Layout with the space of the logo (by Microsoft SQL Server Report Builder) and
    finally saved and compiled.
    When I do run it connects to the server of what I call the classic client or the real NAV 2013 R2 and I can select a posted sales invoice to show the new layout and the result is
    fine as customized as I wanted.
    When I later ordinary print one of the posted sales invoices this customized logo layout doesn't appear on the print. I print in PDF and paper. When I make a next new sales invoice
    this new layout is not in use either.
    Another thing is run print started from the Development Environment is called Sales - Invoice in the header and not just Invoice that it the name when printing when invoicing and
    printing of posted documents.
    Additionally this form of Sales - Invoice shows our company details and good information as web, e-mail, bank account and bank name that is well demanded on a perfect invoice.
    How to get these informations out normally?
    Is the classic client having a wrong report as sales invoice?
    How to run a customized report (206 sales invoice) in the classic client NAV 2013 R2?
    It is like the customized report (206 sales invoice) is not in use yet in the classic client.
