Sales order appear in Product view but not available in Livecache

Dear Gurus,
We have an issue right now wherein there is a sales order with a certain line item that is consuming stock in ATP tab of product view but in Elements tab of the same material, the Sales Order is not seen. Because of this, some orders cannot be confirmed as the stock is not sufficient
We have tried /SAPAPO/OM17, SDRQCR21, and /SAPAPO/SDORDER_DEL to delete the Sales Order but no Sales Order is being selected.
Kindly let me know if there are other reports or process to be done to delete this inconsistency.

Go to transaction /sapapo/mvm go to the active version and check under ATP whether update fro, atp time series is checked. If not then to do atp check in apo you wud need to delete the active version and recreate it with the required setting.

- I believe SAP recommends one report to be run regularly to delete old/open sales orders what is that and why it needs to be run ? Does it have any affect on backorder processing ?

Hi Chetan,
Back orders are generally updated with the help of transaction V_V2.
Let's say that you were supposed to deliver one order on 25.06.2007 but the delivery has not been created yet.
Then V_V2 would determine the new schedule line date for this particular order along with the quantity which can be delivered on that particular date.
You can automate the process by just putting the transaction V_V2 for background scheduling.This background scheduling can be done with the help of transaction SM36.

Events appear in Monthly view, but not Weekly or Daily

For some reason, during the week of Dec 2 through Dec 8, all my events appear just fine in the monthly view, but when I switch to weekly, none of them are there, and when I double click on a day that I know there should be an event, the event appears in the daily view. The event however will not appear if I go to the daily view using the button at the bottom. To make it even a little stranger, when I switch from the daily back to the weekly view, the event is still there, only it now spans across three days.
Has anyone heard of this or is there a bug fix out there for this problem?

The first and easiest troubleshooting step involves replacing/refreshing the com.apple.iCal.plist file.
Quit iCal and find the com.apple.iCal.plist file in your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences Folder. Drag the file to your Desktop, log out/in or restart and check iCal for normal behavior.

Sales Orders Screen: Preview and Print Option Not Available in Actions LOV

We are using Custom Responsibility for Order Management.
We can't find the Preview and Print Option in Actions list(Sales Orders -> Query for Sales Orders -> Actions).
Kindly let me know how to add the Preview and Print Option to the LOV.

Songs appear in "Album" view but not "Playlist" view--sync problem

I sync/drag songs from iTunes to my iPod manually. One album in particular shows up on my iPod when I view the list of songs by "Album," but when I view the list of songs by my Beatles "Playlist", songs from all albums except one show up.
For instance... in "Album"view (on my iPod), I see "Abbey Road" with all its tracks. I also see "Let It Be" with all its tracks. BUT, when I switch over to the Beatles "Playlist,", I see all the tracks from "Abbey Road" but NO tracks from "Let It Be."
So the only way for me to listen to the tracks from "Let It Be" is to play the Album. If I play the Beatles playlist, none of the "Let It Be" songs will play.
Can someone help?
By the way, my iTunes version is 7.6, and my iPods version is 1.2.3---- so both apps are up to date.

Sales order has 52 line items but in vbep some are not available

what could be the reason for the problem;
Sales order has 52 line items but in vbep some are not available...
and some has 2 etenr as '0001' and '0002', why 2 lines in vbep for 1 posnr of order.

Hi,
It is possible when some of them dont have valid Schedule lines.
If they have valid schedule lines some confirmed qty should be available.otherwise we cant find them in VBEP table.
Pls check by going to sales order whether Sch.lines are valid or not.
This you can check Thru
VA03-->provide Sales Order number -->Select any line Item-->Menu item Goto-->Item-->Schedule Lines

Displaying stock and sales orders for aggregated product in Product View

Hello,
We have successfully created an SNP aggregated planning scenario which uses CTM to plan purchase requisitions and planned orders at the aggregated product level. The disaggregation to the sub-product level is working as well.
We have one issue.
We would like to be able to use the Product View (SAPAPO/RRP3) to view the sales order and stock information for both the aggregated products and the sub-products.
Currently, the sub-products (which are the materials in the stock and sales orders functions in ECC) show the disaggregated planned orders and purchase Reqs, and the sales order and stock information in the Product View.
The aggregated-products (which aren't included in the ECC sales order and stock functions), only show the aggregated planned orders and purchase Reqs.
Is there a Product View configuration which will show the aggregated stock and sales orders in the aggregated product view?

The Product view configuration is available under customisation menu under the below path.
spro > sap guide > APO > supply planning > PPDS > settings for order view/product view
Under this, you can configure your customised product view structure.

How to compare sale order bom and production order bom.

i would like to provide report with respect to comparation of sale order bom and production order bom, but i am not familiar with SD and PP, can anyone give me some clue? i only know sale order bom is created via 'CS61', afterwards run mrp to get production order, the process appears complicated, i needn't know the process detail, just want to know how to get sale order bom and relative production order bom. please guide me.

I want to have a single production order for these 4 sales orders (I am using strategy 40 and collective requirement option in MRP 4 view), My requirement In production order assignment Tab which sales order will be assignment, If not how can I arrive it, Is there any User exit for this?

Dear Murugan,
Your strategy 40 will not have sales order reference. But sales order quantity will be considered by strategy 40 and your PIR'S will be reduced. but you cannot have any sales order reference in the production order. If you want sales order reference in production use strategy 20, 50, or other MTO strategy and use t-code CO08 to create production order giving sales order number. And combining of many sales order into one, as per my knowledge it is not possible in standard SAP but you can have a single delivery of many sales order.

Sales order field in production order

Hi Gurus,
I see there is a field sales order assigned to production order. In my scenario when we create a sales order production order gets created automatically in background due to the strategy group. So in production order, i see a field sales order and also i can see the sales order number in that field which is fine.
But when we create a sales order with reference to quote, then in production order i see the quote number displayed in sales order field in the production order.
My client wanted to have sales order number rather quote.
Please suggest.

Hi,
Please note that if sales order stock has already been assigned to a quotation, the stock of the resulting orders is also managed under the quotation number.
If you require to tag the sale order no to the production order then define the requirement type not as the make to order. This you can control at item category level also. While for sales order make requirement type make to order related.
While doing so please note that you have to use the special rule to determine the requirement type which will based on the item category and mrp type.

Sales-order-related mass production

Our client has the following bussiness scenarios in PP: sales-order-related mass production .
So in costing configuration , I use the valuated sales order stock, and not let the sales order item carry the revenue and cost .
So I I haven't actived the "sales order" in okkp, and also make the filed "consumptiong posting filed "in account assignment category "blank", and in the "valuation filed" in "requirment class " I maintained "M", and I want to use the sales order item cost estimate value as the standard price , but when in testing , after run MRP and convert the planned order into the production order, the error occurs " You cannot make an assignment to make-to-
stock.", so my question is that, in sales-order-related mass production, can we following in the such process:
1 create sales order
2 run mrp and generate the planned order
3 convert planned order to production order ?
by the way:
The material 's material type is "KMAT", and strategy group is "25", and requirment class is "46"
and I use the "valuated sales stock".

The MRP generates planned orders to meet the requirements.The KZBWS is copied from the requirement to the planned order which should meet the requirements.During the subsequent conversion planned order -> Production order, the 'Goods receipt, non-valuated' flag is set unrequiredly.If you created an MRP run manually and if the account assignment was carried out to the project, the KZBWS would be set as account valuation filedin "requirment class " if I maintained "M".
You should set Customizing in such a way that both the requirements class of the sales order and the used material same valuation indicator. For the sales order, it is field V_T459K-KZBWS. During the creation of production order it is found that the account assignment on the sales order . Afterwards the order can be saved and a goods receipt can be posted to the sales order stock.
Or other way is Configurable materials that are also made-to-stock must have a configuration valuation in the material master record - therefore they must be maintained as a variant (storage type). In this the material itself can be referenced as a 'configurable material' (variants and 'configurable materials' with BOMs are then one and the same material).

Sales Order Text to Production Order Text

Dear Experts,
When creating a sales order in VA01, I added in some comments in the item level Texts tab.
How can I configure the system so that when a production order is created from this sales order, the comments entered in the sales order will be automatically populated in the Long Text tab of Production Order header.
This is because during the creation of sales order, there may be certain comments and/or instructions that need to be passed to the production line. We want the texts to flow through to the production order automatically.
Any ideas?

The problem is solved.
In SD side, there's a transaction VOTXN. Change the configuration for Sales Order Item.
Add a Text ID 0006 (Production Memo) in Textprocedure with Access Sequence 21 (Material Sales).
In Access Sequence 21, map Text Object VBBP (Sales Order Item Text) to ID 0006 (Production Memo).
Save it.
When you create your sales order, in the item text level, you'll be able to see an additional text type of Production Memo. Enter your text here and save the sales order. When production order for this Sales Order is created, Production Memo tab will automatically appear (as mentioned by Peter earlier).

Help with Importing psd's, looks good in viewer, but not in canvas...

I have been searching for threads related to this issue, and this is what i've come up with...
It is my sequence settings, the picture looks great in the viewer but not in the canvas, as soon as i put it in the timeline, it goes blurry almost. I tried changing my settings to HD 16:9 and the picture looks great, but I need standard (NTSC DV 4:3), does anyone know a way around this? I can do it in Avid fine, why am I having such a hard time in FCP?

P.S i have tried changing my image size in photoshop to 720x480 and 720x540 and it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Order highlighted when product view is called.

In APO , We have one custom report which display all orders. By clicking on order number , it displays its product view. Here , product view contains many orders so it would become little tedious to find that order from long list.
Is there any way that product view is called with order number being highlighted so it become very easy to locate.

We have created custom interactive report which shows orders based on plant and product mentioned on selection screen. Here , if we click on any order within report , its product view is getting called. I am able to call product view but if there are many orders for that product location then it one has to search order number in product view. We need somehow if we click on order number within custom report , product view should be called with order number being highlited in product view ( in blue text ) so that user would know by which order number this product view was called.
I am calling call transaction "/SAPAPO/RRP*" from my custom report , here product view is getting called but I need to search order number ( need to remember order number while clikcing ) from long list in product view.
Does any on know any fucntion module or any way to highlight order number when product view is called.
