  • Costing affect with MRP at planned order level and after production order

    Dear all,
How the costing affect with MRP at planned order level and after production order completion?
Edited by: Maulik on Jun 24, 2009 1:59 PM

    Dear Maulik,
check Mr. Vinod's inputs abt costing
    1. Maintain following master data:
MM01 Material Master with Costing and accounting view. Make sure all the cost Std, Moving avg etc is maintained along with valuation class in Accounting view 1. In costing tab pls make sure "with qty structure" and "Material Origin" are ticked.
CS01 BOM with components marked with costing relevance in Status/Long Text Tab. Also check all the qty are correct.
CR01 Work Center in Basic data tab maintain standard value key sau SAP1 and in costing tab maintain the workcenter, activity type and formulas (Usually standard formulas like for Machine Hours SAP006, Labour SAP007, Setup Activity SAP005 is used).
KL01 Cretae activity types, in basic data tab maintain ATyp Category AS "1" and cost element (as provided by your FI Guy).
KP26 Activity pricing, here with the combination of Activity type and the cost center you assign price to the activity.
    2. SPRO Activity
Maintain Costing sheet IMGControllingProd cost controllingProd Cost PlanningBasic settingoverheadsdefine costing sheet.
OKKN Define costing variant, you define costing type (In the costing type, you define the purpose of a material cost estimate by specifying, for example, which field in the material master record the costing results can be transferred to like std price, moving avg etc), Valuation Variant (defines how the prices are prioratized), date control and transfer structure.
    3. Costing Process Flow:
    1. CK11N CREATE COSTING RUN
    2. CK24 CREATE PRICE UPDATE (You Mark and release the prce to be updated)
    4. COSTING VARIANT WRT PP
    1. OPL1 DEFINE COSTING VARIANT WRT PP
    2. OKK4 or OPN2 DEFINE VALUATION VARIANT
    3. OKK1 or OPM1 DEFINE COSTING TYPE
    4. OPL8 ORDERTYPE DEPENDENT PARAMETER (assign the above creted costing type for both planned and actual)
Hope this will throw some light on product costing.
    Regards
    kumar

  • Steps for implementing PM Order Cost and allocation Report

    Hi experts,
I would like some of the experts to suggest prior steps involved in implementing PM Order Cost and allocation Report?
Is there any specific PM documentatio other then help.sap.com documentation?
    Thank you
    arun

    Hi,
the CO-Sources (and PM is similar there) deliver plan and actual costs in different rows separated with the characteristics 0VTYPE and 0VERSION (this one separating different versions of plan data) in your case you will get in your transactional data:
ServiceOrder   0VTYPE    SWG (i leave the rest of the keys and attributes out)
    SO1000          20             15.000 €   for your plan date
    SO1000          10             10.000 €   that are your actual data
so what wil happen if 0VTYPE is not a Key in your DSO is that first the plan record is updated in DSO and then the second actual record overwrites this value becaus both have the same key SO1000.
You have to define carefully what keys you use in DSO to avoid this. If you can try create a test-Cube on base of the DataSource fields and look how the data are displayed in there because a cube regards all fields as key's.
    regards
    Christoph

  • Sub-Order Cost Flow In Main Order.

    hello sir,
How to flow sub-order cost in to main maintenance order, so i can see the sub order cost in the header order(Plant maintenance). kindly suggest me.

You first need to ensure that your Settlement Profile (assigned to your order type) can settle to an "order". Once this is done you will e able to create a settlement rule in the sub-order(s) to settle to the main order.
Furthermore, you can then also set the default settlement rule for a sub-order in the IMG: Settlement Rule: Define Time and Creation of Distribution Rule

  • How to identify difference between Configure To Order (CTO) and Engineer To Order (ETO) items

    Hi All,
We are working on Oracle Database 10g
We have to develop a code which involves Configure To Order (CTO) and Engineer To Order (ETO) items.
Can anyone advise is there any table and the corresponding column in the database which will help identify if an item is a CTO or ETO.

  • Plan cost of Valuated Sales order

    Hello,
I am using Valuated Sales order and wanted to see the Plan cost is sales order report KKBC_KUN.
    a) When i use a costing variant in the Requirement class with automatic marking, i am able to see the plan costs in the sales order report.
    b) However if i dont use and costing variant in the requirement class and instead use the valuation with standard price of Make to stock inventory (with out val.strategy is checked), my sales order report does not show the plan cost.
I want to use option (b) and also see the plan cost in the sales order report. Is this acheivable.
    Regards
    Raghu

    Hi Raghu
Valuation Indicator in Req Class and Costing fields in Req Class are independant things
You can specify valuation field as A (No Separate Valuation) and still use the Costing fields to calculate sales order cost estimate.. This will remain for info sake only
However, it does nt make sense to calculate SO Cost est if you dont use that in valuation

  • Flow material product cost to sales order cost and no explosion of structur

    Hello,
We have a business requirement - Business is currently performing product costing at material on monthly basis using quantity structure (with help of avaiable bom and routings). Material costing nicely gives the cost with clear split of material cost, labour cost, external cost etc. Then at sales order level we want to do the preliminary sales order costing. The reason for sales order planned costing is, we are performing result analysis revenue based by comparing planned cost. Business is saying, we already calculated the material cost, labour cost at the product level and same should be as it is transferred to the sales order planned cost and we just want to add the overheads.
The cost already calculated should directly pass to sales order and the order should not explode the BOMs again or try to find activity prices from routings. Then with the already available values of material, labour costs, system should only add the overheads via costing sheet.
The cost compenent structure exploded in material should be passed to sales order and not just the total cost.
There are several reasons I believe sap should not allow this behaviour. I seek your inputs to validate the same.

THIS SHOULD BE POSSIBLE WITH "TRANSFER STRATEGIES" - TCODE OKKM.
GO BY THE BELOW GIVEN PATH AND TRY.
READ IMG DOCUMENTATION FIRST, THEN TRY.

  • PM Order, cost and key figures

I have created and configured a new PM planning plant, cost center, work center, pm types and all that usual of PM requirement, but still I think something is missing in in the ingredient because when I try to creat a PM order and assign a bunch of operations with man hours to it, I discovered that there is NO cost and key figures showing...basically the estimated cost show $0.00. In other Plant it shows correct est cost.
Any help will greatly appreciate with rewarding points.
    Thanks,
    Tim

COst in order operations will get summarised under cost tab as labour/internal cost provided-
1.Activity rate is maintained for activity via KP26 for cost centre
2.Cost center is entered into work centre master data.
3.Value category maintained correctly for cost element group where cost elemnt for internal cost is within this group.
In your case it seems missing link is activity rate maintenace.
    Thanks

  • Wrong Calculation of  Sales & Administration Cost and COGS

    Dear Sir,
We have a scenario where we charge Over-Head on the Labour . Accordingly we have made necessary setting in the configuration .  But in the Cost Run , we find that  COGS  / Sales & Administration Cost  is getting calculated wrongly .
To explain it further , say Material Cost is 100 and Labour Cost is 40 . Over-Head defined on Labour is say 50% .
In the Ck11n , we are getting following values :
    COGM                                    --->   140
    Sales & Administration Cost    -
    >   60
    COGS                                   -
    >   200
So the mistake is , that in "Sales & Administration Cost "  it is clubbing both Labour and OH . So instead of 60 the value must have been 20 .
Same is true for COGS , here instead of 200 , correct value must have been 160 .
Kindly guide me , how to resolve this error .
    Regards
    Sonia

    Hi
Please ceck your costing sheet. There should be two base one for Material and another for Labour.
In the Overhead rate you have to mention the labour Row correctly.
Also check the costing variant whether correct costing sheet has been assigned or not
    Thanks

  • Remove Shiping Cost and Tax from Order Confirmation Screen

    Hi Gurus,
Can anybody tell me if there is any setting to Remove Shipping Cost and Tax from Checkout Confirm Page , other than hiding from JSP page ? Also is it possible to add any other Criteria like the same with any setting ?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Tony Isaac

    Net = getHeaderValue()
    Total Freight = header.getFreightValue()
    Total Tax = header.getTaxValue()
    Gross = header.getGrossValue()
The document header is used to get the price information and the fields are almost set in stone. Getting other pricing conditions is technically possible but need better business evaluation. Ask the question, if this is needed in a web environment.
