Sales Order Number is not picked in the shipping trasaction.

Hi,
After creating a sales order,then navigating to shipping trasaction and giving sales order number and then
when i am clicking find button,the following error is coming in OM R12.1.1
APP-WSH-231210:An unexpected Error Occured for line 388298.The Error is:ORA-04062:signature of package "APPS.WSH_DELIVERY_DETAILS_INV" has been changed.
why i am getting this error?

Hi,
The package WSH_DELIVERY_DETAILS_INV is invalid in your instance as you are getting "Signature of package apps.WSH_DELIVERY_DETAILS_INV has
changed" error message...
Recompile the Invalid objects and hope this will solve your Shipping transaction issue...

    Condition records are maintained for partner function ship to party and condition records and output determination procedure is also assigned.

    yes it is maintained there for ship to party. my question is at delivery item level, if I select output type and check the communication method for FAX, it is showing blank or sometime wrong fax number.
    I am expecting to pick up  fax number which is maintained at XD02 for the ship to party by refering condition record vv22. Here, I have maintained fax details in contact person of that parner function in the sales area of customer. Else, you can guide me the right procedure to sent COA fax to recipients.

  • Sales Order number is  not showing in MD04

    Hi Gurus  ,
    I have got one case where  Sales order number is not showing  in MD04 screen  . This sales order , line item  has already delivered , PGI &  billing document also been generated  . Moreover accounting document is also been created .As cheeked & found that it is not shwoing in MD04 screen  because at  the time sales order creation  availability check “01” was maintained  which has sum up all the  requirement in one  particular day ( Also as
    per SAP note -70408) .
    Now because  all the subsequent document has been generated  for sales order so we can not mark it for “Rejection for rejection “  & to create new  sales order  with  availability check “02” in material master .
    Please let  me know the possible solution for the same or  if any  sap note would  be required to get the sales order number in MD04  .

    Hi Kiran ,
    Actually  before running the  report in “SDRQCR21”  in PRD I wanted to  run it in “Quality “ .
    In quality I am not able to simulate the same  .
    Please refer below points related to my testing result .
    1.Mainatined availability check group “01” .
    2 . Created Sales order 
    3. Check in MD04 screen & as expected  sales order  was coming blank  with negative Qty .
    4. Run the MRP which generated PR
    5. PR converted to PO  & GRN was done which updated the stock
    6. Created delivery  & checked the same in MD04  . It was also coming blank  . No delivery  document  numbe was showing in screen  but  it was coming with negative  Qty .
    7. Done the PGI  & blank  delivery document number  was removed & it become  normal .
    In PRD .
    There are 3 sales order
    One sales order is already marked reason for rejection & two sales order delivery , PGI has been done  .
    But still it is showing  blank sales order with negative Qty  & after MRP run it is generating the PR also  .
    I don't why it was  showing with negative values  .
    Please refer attacehed screen shot  .

  • Sales Order Schedule line not populating in the Production order

    Queation: Is there a way to tell the system to look at the sales order, line item AND schedule line. It is displayed in MD04 but it doesn't carry over to the Production Order. We are a MTO and this information is relevant in a number of ways.

    If you are using MTO scenario then when you run the MRP for the material, it will create a planned order for that sales order based on the dates calculated from the sales order schedule line (Shipping tab)...
    So now when you convert the planned order to production order, all the sales order details will get copied.
    try and revert back.

    Yes this is correct. How the system should know the internal order?
    When you use a combination assets / internal orders the proces steps are:
    Create a investment internal order
    Assign the PO to the internal order order.
    The costs are posted on the IO
    Settle the cost to the AUC
    Final setle the costs from the AUC to the final asset

  • Customer Visible in Sales Order Screen.But not visible in the customer Web form in R12

    I have created  a customer of organization type using the customer API.I have also created a location and a customer account and account site as well
    The created values are loaded into the HZ tables and are visible in the tables such as hz_parties, hz_party_sites, hz_party_sits and so on.
    But the issue is that I cannot find the customer in the customer web form in the receivables.but at the same time it is visible in the sales order screen in the order management.
    so please, someone help me resolve this issue.

    We do not automatically create PR from Sales Order, as this is not my clients requirement. So we don't use item category group BANS in the material master.
    In the item level in the PR under the Contact Person tab, the creation indicator shows "V Sales & distribution document". Once PR is created this updates the PR number under the item level Schedule lines in the Sales Order.
    After PR creation, we run a job to create PO's.
    But the new requirement from the client is to automate this PO creation thru EDI.
    Our SAP is 4.6C & the Idoc type we use is ORDERS05 & Message Type is ORDERS. We are using EDIFACT std.
    Once I get the idoc xml file for this PO, I find that my Customer PO number (from the Sales Order) & also the Customer Sales Order number is not copying to the xml output.
    Please advise what needs to be done inorder to have it.

    etc fields are common in both VBBS and VBBE.
    May be you can generate a condition a fetch data using this.

    In VOV8 you can only Check whether the purchase order number already exists or not.
    If you want to do any other check like you said based on customer & PO number combination then follow steps below:
    Ask your ABAPER to
    1: Create a Z-table where you can store the required Customer No & PO No combinations.
    2: Write a code to check the PO no & Customer No entered in Sales order with the entries in the Z-table & throw an error if there is no match.
    This code needs to be written in the User exit Save_document_prepare by your ABAPER.
    3: This will work at time of Save & not a point of entry. The result will be same "error msg will be thrown"

    We have created a lay out in QA32 including sales order no,but the sales order no is not visible in the Change data for inspection lot (QA32 Screen)
    We are creating production order via sales order.Our client wants sales order number displayed in the screen.
    What must the reason for not picking the sales order number?

    First you tell me which Inspection type your using.
    Sales order number will Show in the lot if following requirement will exist.
    1. Make to Order Scenario with 04 - Inspection type (Goods Receipt from Production)
    2. Inspection at sales  Order level with 10,11 Inspection Type.

  • Financial Document not updated with Sale Order Number

    I wish to update the Financial document posting from the billing document with the Sales order and line item number against the revenue account.
    This is not populating in COBL-KDAUF. 
    I have seen some other messages concerning this, but none with answers. 
    Is this possible, I assume it is. 
    If so, are there any other necessary settings? 
    We are not using CO-PA, and I can get the reference number & /or allocation field to populate with the sales order number but not line item.  But I want the coding block filled so that BSEG VBEL2 is populated.

    In the situation that you have a 1:1 relation this is possible with a substitution and look then to the order in the first line from the invoice.
    Where you can have a look to is the sumarization in FI and CO.  TC OBCY for VBAK and VBRK.
    Example:
    When you have 2000 posting lines in an invoice the system can create 1 posting line by used G/L account
    With this transaction you can set-up that there is create one posting line by:
    (G/L account)
    Sales order number
    You have first to look how your set up is. (perhaps when this is set-up correct you have already the order number in the field).

    I ran the set up tables for a sales order number in the morning and then ran again in the evening by mistake so when i see in the rsa3 i can see 2 sales order number.
    If i load the same in the sales order header and item ods, will there be any duplicates from ecc to bi?

    HI,
    In order for you to see Characteristics in KE34 form definition, they have to be defined as 'Segment level' in KEQ3, as also metioned by Christian. However, it is not advisable to define 'Sales order #' as a Segment level, considering that 'Sales order #', changes frequently and also owing to performance issues with huge number of Segment level records which gets created in the course of time.
    If you want to report based on Sales order, then please consider using line item form/report KE94/KE91 or check if KE24 is sufficient.

  • In SAP sales order, Is that possible to change the plant manually?

    When we create sales order, for material , it will choose the shipping plant . Some materials
    has different level, like Material A is 0 Level, Material B is under A . So B will use same plant as A.
    We hope to manually change the plant for B, but the field of plant is grey.
    Is that possbile if we could enhanbe this field and could manually change plant ?

    Thanks, Ya ,we have setup sales bom and extend the matieral plant . for sub-item
    Currently, our problem is we need 0 level mateiral A plant as X , and Sub-item mateiral plant as Y , we hope to manually change the sub-item plant , but that field is grey , so we can't do it. We can change the high level mateiral plant, but for our request, the we only want to change the low level item plant, high level plant still need be X, no need change to Y.
      The one way we found is to reject this line, and craete a new item and also input the level number.
    but it's not convenient
    So we hope to know for such plant field, Now in our sap, it's grey, we can't change it. Does sap need confige and allow this field un-grey, then we can manually directly change sub-item plant?
