Sales Order/Quotation, Delivery, Returns.  Need a way to search by zipcode

Using 2007a SP0 PL49.
In Sales Quotation, Sales Order, Delivery and Return submenus.
We can have 100s of shipto on our major accounts.
Users typically search by postal codes, we haven't migrated to SBO yet, this is a road block for it.
So far, I have a query to a UDF LookupPostalCode that feeds into the Shipto, it works under the content tab's rows but in logistics tab where it's really needed, I can't put my UDF, can't seem to find a spot or a field I can replace.
I've been using this query and it works in the rows for content...
SELECT Address FROM CRD1
Where AdresType = 'S'
AND CARDCODE = $[$4.CardCode]
AND ZipCode = $[$38.U_LookupPostalCode.STRING]
Any suggestions to make this happen in logistics without sdk?
Note: the postal codes are unique per site in this case.
Thanks,
Marc

    Dear All,
In a sales return scenario i am using inspection type 05,at the time of PGR system is inspection lot with mvt. type 655,my query is i want to get sales order no & delivery no so that i can create notification on the basis of that.I have saved one layout but in QA32 screen but when i am QA32 with inspection type 05,it is not showing sales order no and delivery no.Kindly help me to resolve this issue.
    With Regards.

    hi,
u create a notification manually or that notification created in bckgrnd while ur RR.
If it is bckgrnd genrated notification against lot than definitely u get those fields in ur layout. and if u create notification manually than in initial screen u need to enter the sales order / delivery order number.
if it is bckgrnd one than system shows F1 and if it is manual than it is Q1.

Is it possible to delete that sales order and delivery document and trasactions done related to it.what will be its impact.

    Thanks
    Neetu

    Neetu,
Change posting period if delivery is not in current month.
In 2 ways you can return a delivery
    1. Copy To from delivery.
    2. Copy From from return.
You can return using any of 2 ways as below
1.Open reqd. delivery click Copy To and select return,
Change posting date, due date, document date if required,
once again apply tax code it is removed on changing posting date,Check Doucment total match with delviery
enter remarks for returning.Click Add to save it.
    2. Open return select required customer code, enter posting
date, due date & document date as in delivery,Click Copy From
Select required delivery,Use document wizard,Copy all data,
    Click add to save it.
    3. If items are excisable then copy return to incoming
excise invoice,Enter excise reference number in it,
    Click add to save it.
Now return process is completed, status of sales order & delivery & and also return document.

  • In Sale Order and Delivery - Inventory should be effect

    Dear Experts,
i am having a scenario that in sales order and delivery, on material items inventory should not be effected.
    How i can acheive this.
Please let me know the solution.
    With Regards

    Hi Mr.Rachumallu,
I am not very sure about your question but if my understanding is right, you can acheive it through the VTLA Tcode and for the Item category of the suitable delivery and sales document combination you need to maintain the pos/neg quantity as "Zero".
I hope I am helping you.

  • Credit block a sales order or delivery individually

    Hi
If I just wanted to block a sales order or delivery because of a credit issue,  but did not want the customer to go on credit block/hold,  is the only way to do this use the delivery and billing block.  I can't remember being aware of any other blocks we can use
    Please advise.
    thanks

    Hi Kyliesjordan
It depends on if you want the customer's credit exposure be impacted or not. If you are not bothered about the credit limit, then you can go for order blocks as mentioned by you.
If you want the system to be updated for credit exposure then you can configure simple/automatic credit checks as per your requirement.

  • Load a sales order with delivery date in the past

    Hi,
We want to load in the system a sales order with delivery date in the past, and maintain the schedule delivery date in the past. To do that, in the customizing Sales And Distribution / Basic Functions / Delivery Scheduling and Transportation Scheduling / Define Scheduling By Sales Document Type, I selected the flag Blackwards. But the problem is that the rest of the dates in the scredule line: goods issue date, loading date, material avail.date and transportation Plan Date, are in blank and you cannot enter any data because the system deletes it.
How can I have these dates informed with dates in the past?
    Thanks in advance,

You can control this using the "Message Control" in the SAP IMG.
    Supplier Relationship Management>SRM Server>Cross-Application Basic Settings>Message Control>Influence Message Control
Using this you convert Error to Warning or even swith off this message.
Please refer this thread for complete steps:

Note: you need to suppress the messages relevant to your case here.

  • Link from sales order to delivery not complete

    2007A
We have a few cases where the link from a sales order to delivery is not complete. For example, we have a sales order with 2 lines on it. We copy to delivery and add. Remarks field has the comment "based on sales order ...." However if you try to get to base document the icon is not available. In looking at the base document, base reference, base line fields on the items they are blank.
We also have instances of this where there were 20 lines on a sales order, we copy to delivery and 19 lines are linked but one is not.
Any ideas as to why this might be happening?

    Hi Keith ,
It looks like an application error to me if the action is straight forward - copy from SO to Delivery .
If you can replicate the issue , it is definitely a bug and you probably need to test with upgrade if it is happening or not .
So far , I would look for a higher version of patch and see if that issue is particularly addressed and resolved .
Also use this query for more help
    SELECT DISTINCT T0.DocNum FROM ODLN T0, DLN1 T1 WHERE (T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry) AND (T1.BaseEntry = [%0] OR T1.BaseRef = [%1])
    Hope this helps

  • Change a sales order while delivery

    Hi Gurus,
I need to change the status of a sales order line item from being complete to incomplete in case it fails some validation during delivery creation.
I was earlier planning to code this in the copy-control routine ( order to delivery)  and use the standard FM BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE in the copy control code to attain this, but however, the sales order cannot be edited when being delivered.
Is there any other means of attaining this. Backend update of tables can lead to a couple of challenges and undesired behavior that I want to avoid.
    Regards,
    Jasmit

    Dear Jasmit ,
As Regards to the Change a sales order while delivery.
There will be 2 Approaches for it
    1. Firstly use the User Exit SAPMV45A.
    2. Use the Enhancement V45S0001/V50S0001/V50R0004
This will definitely help in your requirement .

  • Sales order costing  - Z-report without going to sales order/quotation

    Dear All,
Currently we are arriving the pricing thru sales order costing. After doing the sales order costing in sales order / Quotation, the costing value flow to condition type EK01. Now management has decided that, to go for manual price and put it in z-table. From z-table system will pick and show in sales order / quotation.
Now management want to compare the sales order costing price as well as z-table price. They need z-report.
They will put the material, plant, pricing date and costing variants in the initial screen. then after execution of this report, they should able to see sales order costing price and z-table price.
They do not want to do the sales order costing thru sales order/quotation.
Now the problem here is I do not know how to do the sales order costing without going thru sales order/quotation. Please provide the FM, or related table for this report.
    Waiting for you reply.
    Regards,
    Niranjan

    Hi
Check the table KONV, with respect to VBAK-KNUMV. the table KONV keeps the record of all the Condition type of a documet and KNUMV no is a unique no. generated by the sytem for avery document.
    Hope it will help.

  • Copy Net Value(VBAK-NETWR) from sales order to Delivery VL02N

    Hi all,
Please can anyone help me with this? When the sales order is saved we need to move the net value to the any field in the delivery.
    Thanks
    Jasmeet

    Hi,
This is a standard SAP functionality that values from sales order will be copied to billing and not to delivery.
In fact values from both sales order and delivery are copied to billing.
If you want to copy that you would need to copy the same in some empty field in the delivery document and that too with some BadI or user exit ZE_SHP_TAB_CUST_HEAD.
This user exit will create an additional tab in delivery header and you can copy the pricing value from sales order to any field in this tab.Developer can confirm the same.

  • Sales order and delivery requirement

    Hi,
I have never worked real time on TOR and availibility check. I need help on clarification on the concept.
    1) The sales order transfers the requirement to MRP. So in the sap system there is a standard  requirement type/class 41 for the same. I need to know why there is a requirement type/class for sales order related delivery (011- delivery req type/class) ?
In sales order related delivery, only availibility check is controlled(thru delivery item category) since the requirements are already transferred from sales order. so why the 011 delivery requirement ?
2)The requirement type is determined through sales order item categoryMRP type.for the same combination of item categorymrp type, do one has to assign both the sales order and delivery requirment. I.e. suppose sales item category is ZTOR and mrp type is PD. so do one has to necessarity configure the follwoing
ZTOR+PD=041(SALES ORDER REQ TYP) and 041 assigned to 041 req class
ZTOR+PD=011 (DELIVERY REQ TYPE) and 011 assigned to 011 req class

    hi,
please go in to class details you will find various indicators, related to costing, accounting etc.

  • Header text to be copied from the sales order to delivery

    Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement in which  header text "Customer order text " needs to be copied from the sales order to the delivery. After copying the text we need to print on the packing slip.
Can anyone advise me as how to copy the text from the sales order header to delivery  and then print on the packing slip.
    Thanks ,
    Smitha.

Maintain the Text ID @ Sales Documnet Header level and add it to your Text Procedure. Also ensure you assign the access sequence to your Text ID in your procedure.
Access Seuquence should have VBBK and the text ID number and check All Languages and use Requirement 1.
Then in the Delivery Header Text Procudure add this text ID and assign the same access sequence as above.
This will copy the Text ID from Sales Order to Delivery Order Header.
You can configure the output for packing slipduring the delivery process  and in the output program read this Text ID and print it.
Note" Copy Controls do not copy text from preceeding documents to succeeding documents. Only the Access Sequences used in the Text Procedure will do that with the help of the reuqirement assigned in the same.
    Thanks and Hope this helps.

  • How to consider production capacity plan on sales order's delivery date.

    HI experts,
How to consider production capacity  on sales order's delivery date.
    Say for example :
Production workcenter capacity to produce the XYZ material 10qty in a Day.
today i have created the sales order XYZ materail qty of 100. lead days has give based of MMR 21 days 17-07-2010( 3 sundays)
and in same day i have created other sales order XYZ material qty 5000 ,the lead days again it will came 17-07-2010.
Now my client requiremnt is when the schedule days is confirming in the sale order it sholud also consider the production capacity planning also
Even though my work centers are overloaded it is confirming the sales order on 17-07-2010 (based on leads days in MMR)
    Thanks in Advance..
    Sudha

    Sudha,
Tell your client he needs to install SCM.  Here, you can use either CTP or MLATP to confirm orders based on production capacity.
There are a couple of standard workarounds available in R/3.
One is to create a constrained forecast for planning materials, consistant with capacity, convert the forecast to PIRs, and then perform ATP against 'Planning' rather than against product, using MRP Strategy 63.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/a2/4e799a927d11d1800f00c04fadcb73/frameset.htm
Another method is to leave the Sales orders unconfirmed at original order entry (eg, no lead time).  Run MRP, run capacity levelling, firm the levelled planned orders, and then run BOP (called 'rescheduling' in R/3) against the unconfirmed backlog, with an ATP that considers firmed planned orders as supply elements.  The sales orders will confirm against the planned orders, which are scheduled according to available capacity.
Either of these two methods will work, but the CTP SCM solution is by far the better answer.  Downside of SCM solution in general is the substantial implementation effort required.
