  • Third Party Sales - Billing Error - Sales Order- PR- Contract- PO

    Dear Experts,
I came across this scenario where the order related invoice was not getting created.
Regular Scenario : Sales Order ->PR->PO->MIGO->MIRO and SD Invoice : This is working absolutely fine.
New Proposed Scenario : Sales Order -->PR->Contract->PO->MIGO->MIRO and then SD Invoice. The problem is that in document flow of the sales order, the PO created with reference from the contract (contract is created with reference from PR) is not showing up in the document flow. Since it is not showing in the document flow, the qty to bill is zero (billing relevance is F). The log in VF01 tells that there is qty to bill.
    Can you help.
    Regards,
    AHD

Enter PR no  In PO while creating it with refereence to contract.  Po will get updated in SO doc Flow.
In future do not convert PR into contract as it does not have scdedule lines to be sent to vendor, you need to release po for it to send schedule, as the result there is break betwween relationship chain as PR no is not copied into PO.

  • Link sales Order with contract

    Hi,
We have created a sales orders using va01,but without referencing to contract.
is there any way to link these sales order to the old contracts.
    Pls help,
    Thanks

    Hi,
If your sales order has subsequent documents then it is not possible to link to your old contracts. For such orders this option will be disabled.
For those order that don't have subsequent orders:
    Goto VA02 T.Code.
    Enter the order number.
    Enter.
Ensure that the customer numbers are same in both.If not change the custoemr numebr in order. After that Click on Sales document-->Create with reference. While changing the customer the taxes will be redetermined.
    Enter your contract number.
    Click on copy.
New material will be added here to your old one.If you want then you can keep this or delete the material of your order and then save.
Or you can assign your sales order to contract also.
Goto VA02,Enter your order number.Edit-->Assign contract. Her you can assign either Header or item also.
    Regards,
    Krishna.

  • Condion Type "VPRS" should not appear in Sales Order, Inquiry, Contract

    Hi Gurus,
Normally when you create Sales Order/Inquiry/Contract,  in the Condition Tab VPRS Condition Type will appear and show the cost price of Materail from the Material Master.
My Client requirement is, VPRS Condition type has to be calculated as "Statistical" Contion but IT SHOULD NOT APPEAR IN THE CONDITIONS TAB IN THE SALES ORDER/INQUIRY/CONTRACT.
    Thanks,
    Bala

    hello, friend.
try sapnote 105621.  this is about restricting view of condition types (i.e. vprs) in sales orders by creating anauthorization object for cond types..
i wish to discuss our experience with this, as we had the same business requirement.
first, we simply deleted vprs from the PP.  this did not affect financial accounting, until the client decided to implement std cost estimates.  we had to bring back vprs.
now, we did the sapnote, which required joint efforts among SD, ABAP and BASIS.  although we were able to restrict view of vprs in the cond tabs at itm level, this was still visible at header level.  also, a resourceful data encoder can always find ways to view the same in, for example, the document flow or materials movement data.
however, try this and maybe you will get it right.
    regards.

  • Material Determination when creating Sales Order referencing Contract

    Hi Experts,
Is ther any way to force material determination when creating a sales order with reference to a contract?
When I create a sales order from scratch, the material determinations works fine, but when the sales order is created referencing a contract, the material is copied from the contract without material determination.
I've checked control copy at item level, without sucess.
    Thanks in advance,
    Nuno.

    Hi Nuno,
Material determination is triggered by the material entered in the line item of the sales order.
You can carry out new Material determination/Product selection by copy cotrol configuration when creating with reference.
For your scenario of creating SO with reference to Contract the "product selection field should be blank" at item level copy control.
Blank --> Carry out new product selection
A --> Copy result of product selection
B --> like A, but the product selection is never cancelled afterwards
    C --> Reserve
    Hope this helps you.
    Thanks
    Arun

  • Creating sales order from contract ISA R/3 Edition

    Hi Forum,
    Our scenario are
1 - customer select product from catalog and place order from internet
2 - sometimes, customer already have a contract with us (created earlier manually on SAP) and want to create sales order from internet referencing a SAP-contract.
For scenario No.1 - we can use standard SAP
For scenario No.2 - is there any standard way to do so? or we have to do customization?
    Any suggestion are welcome.
    Thanks a million.!!

    Hello
"Contract Processing" is not supported out-of-the-box in ISA R/3 edition.
However, you have a good news. The OSS Note [788245 |https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/788245]- "ISA R/3 4.0: contract processing", explains how to implement this feature on a project basis.
We have implemented this feature successfully at few customers.
    Hope this helps.

  • Worklfow driven Approvals for Inquiry/Quoatation, Sales Order and Contract,

    Hello,
What scenarios/ processes within SAP SD are supported by standard SAP for auto workflow driven approval.
We need workflow driven approvals for-
    Customr Inquiry/ Quotation,
    Sales Order,
    Contract
    and Credit Approval.
Can we do these workflow scenarious in SAP?  Are they supported by std SAP.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
I would suggest you to check the standard template in SAP workflow also.
To check the standard template, goto transaction SWDD, and search by using structure seach, you will find the standard templatea under sales and distribution area.
Regarding to your requiements , you need to create the new object by extend from the standard object BUS2032 by using transaction SWO1.

  • How to stop sales orders from contracts from qualifying for Rebates.

We have set up rebate agreements for customers and they are working as expected.
Now our sales people want to start using contracts for some special deals for certain customers and products. But they DO NOT want these sales orders from these contracts to qualify for rebates.
Does anybody know how we can set this up or if it is at all possible?

    Hi Zoya,
I got one more idea and so try it out.If it sounds foolish please ignore.Instead of going for userexits its better you go for a different sales order type whenever you refer to a contract. And make sure you assign a different pricing procedure which does not contain the condition type BO03 at all.Ofcourse this new sales document should have a different document pricing procedure.

  • Returns on sales orders regarding contracts

    Hi Guys,
I have a problem with returns on sales orders.
We get returns on sales orders - like most companies.
If the sales order has a parent order of the type contract / quantity agreement,
the return is increasing the open quantity of the contract.
Is there any possibility to prevent this behaviour in standard SAP,
    without a modification?
Thanks - for any tip !!

    Hello Manuel,
    My understanding of ur situation:
U have a qty contract, say for 100 items and have sold 25 items. The contract is updated and shows open qty as 75 items.
After the sale, the customer has returned the 25 items and the contract is updated back as 100 items.
And, you do not want this standard behavior of SAP to take place?
In this case, go to the copy control of the item category and uncheck the update document flow indicator.
However, plz note that if the update doc flow is not set the customer can order as much as he would like to, without the qty contract being updated. Niether would you be able to see the document flow.
I hope this helps, plz get back for further clarifications.
    Rgds,
    Raghu.

  • Error While doing settlement for Sale Order in MTO scenario

    Hi,
In MTO Scenario - when i try to settle Sales Order i am getting the below error. Even i have maintained the settlement cost element for PSG in allocation structure A1.
    Kindly help me
Define a settlement cost element for receiver type PSG
    Message no. KD506
    Diagnosis
In allocation structure A1 (controlling area BP01), you did not define which cost element should be used when settling costs/revenues of the sender. Nor did you define receiver type PSG.
    Procedure
Assign a different allocation structure to the settlement sender (-> Master data -> Settlement rule -> Goto -> Settlement parameters), or maintain allocation structure A1.
    Thanks
    Kishore

    Hi
Please check your allocation structure , it looks that settlement cost element that you have assigned in the allocation strcuture is not having correct cost element category.
Go to Allocation structure configuration (OKO6) and check your allocation structure A1.
check settlement cost elements is it by cost element or you have assigned separate cost element for settlement.
if you wants to settle with same cost element select By cost element.
if you wants to settle with different cost element create a cost element and assign settlement cost element.

  • How to Copy Cost Estimate from Quotation to Sales Order in MTO Scenario

    Hi,
We are working on a MTO scenario- Sales order Costing with Valuated Stock.
And our case we are creating the Cost Estimate at the time of Quotation using PP qty structure. Now we wan to transfer the cost estimate to Sales Order as we don't want to recost the sales order.
Currenty it's transferring only the EK01 condition as total planned costs in Sales order but we want to see the itemization also.
Please suggest is there any way to transfer this cost estimate with itemization from Quotation to Sales Order.
    Regards
    venkat

    Hi
As far as I know the CO esimate does not get copied from Quotation to Sales Order
You need to recost the SO again.. If your Qty Structure has not changed between Quotation to SO and your valuation variant is also the same - it would give the same result

  • Want to pass STRS2 field into sales order and contract.

    Hi Friends.
I am creating Sales order using function module IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS and Contract using SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE.
Now I want to pass STRS2(House number field into Sales Order/Contract). In IDOC I tried to pass E1EDKA1-STRS2, but its not coming into Sales order output. But SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE dont have an option to pass the field value.
So in that case how can I achieve the desired functionality, Is there any user exit or let me know the suitable method to achieve the functionality.
    Thanks
    Gowrishankar

Yes I tried that also.I passed the value from program to user exit MV45AFZZ and updated the structure XVBADR in USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE, but its not getting reflected in Sales Order/Contract.
Anyone have suggestion..plz let me know.
    Thanks

  • Sales order- Quantity Contract

    I need your expert advice.
When we generate a sale order (using T-code VA01) against a quantity contract system will givee error message if you exceeds quantity  contract's order quanity.
How can SAP generate error message (pop-ups) in this situation. where can we have these control in configuration.
Similarly i want this control between our cistomized sales documents.
    Regards,
    Sumith

    Hi,
Its very normal that you can enter order quantity more than the reference contract quantity flowing from the contract. This is standard functionality.
Additionally it is not recommended that you change the standard SAP standard messages from warning to error etc.
Better you should go for an exit. Use following details:
    Goto SE38 & enter include MV45AFZZ
Then goto user exit "USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT". In this you should tell your ABAPer to write code such that it compare the previuosly refered quantity & hence does not allow to enter quantity more that that in contract. You will get error message while saving the document & system will thus prevent extra entry of quantity in sales order.
    Hope this solves your requirement
