Whr i can see the filed name called sales person in vendor master.
I made the filed as optional entry in OB23
am not seeing the filed now

in purchasing organisation view.
Had you made it optional for Create, enter and display?

  • Activate Contact Person Functionallity in Vendor master

    Hi Colleagues,
    We have an issue with Contact Person functionality in Vendor master, specifically with his activation in order to use that funtion menu (Goto -> General Data -> Contact Person). Actually this command is missing in our  system.
    Customizing nodes about contact person (IMG -> Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Vendor Master -> Contact Persons) specify as mandatory requisite set the system as a Retail SAP System.
    We analized the information and executed report GETSYSDEF and the system showed message SYSTEMSWITCH016 "System is set as a manufacturing system"
    Our SAP system is a mySAP ERP 5.0 with component SAP_APPL level 0021.
    We have several doubts related above explanations:
    Is the system able to be customized as a Retail system without loose or damage some actual component (his functionality) as manufacturing system?
    Which is the procedure to follow in order to activate Retail SAP System?
    Is enough to make settings on IMG node "Activation Switch for SAP R/3 Enterprise Extension Set" flagging on application "EA-RET" or in other hand, there are other additional or different steps to make?

    First thanks for your response.
    We don´t want to change manufacturing system for retail system, We try to find the way to add retail system to our actual manufacturing system only for get contact person functionality.
    We need to use that functionality on vendors at tx XK01 or tx XK02 / MK02, in order to link all vendor contacts making a validation of each one against a table Z containing prohibited values. If a contact person would exist in that table the system would show an error message.

    Is there a way I can add multilple contact persons to the vendor master?
    If yes, plase indicate how this can be done and what config changes are to be done.

    Pls can u explain what is ur exact requirement. Do u want to maintain this for particular vendor or do u want to maintain it for all vendors.
    We will assign address in patner function when we are creating a vendor using XK01. Is this feature u want to know???

    I was going through the same path
    Logistic general>business partner>vendor>define transaction dependent- screen layout
    and i saw the option for supression , required , optional etc for Contact details screen.
    Please let me know the difference in path you have mentioned and i explored.

    We want to use Personal settings to default certain fields but want fields from the vendor master to take prioirty.... can we change the field selection available to users or can we switch off personal settings, or change the priority so if payment terms maintains at vendor level, these take prioity over personal setting ones!

    You can try it in your system, i told you as per standard SAP, so we talk about SAP design, and for me, it make sense if the personal setting is overriding the vendor master setting, because the vendor master (purchasing data) also just for default data,and SAP give personal setting in order to make default data under user level, so the personal setting is only effected for the user, not all user that using the transaction

  • External manuf. filed in Vendor Master

    Hi,
    In XK01 under the TAB control field External manuf (EMNFR) is appearing as mandatory. I have checked filed status group overview in IMG where i do not found this field.
    I want to put this keep this field as optional, please guide me how to do it.

    Check the SPRO Config
    Path :
    Financial Accounting (New)->Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable->
    Vendor Accounts->Master Data->Preparations for Creating Vendor Master Data->
    Define Account Groups with Screen Layout (Vendors)
    There select your Account Group
    Click on Genaral Data item under Field status tab
    Double click on control item
    there check the field It's Optional Required. (Put it Optional )
    If the above path is correct. I hope any BADI function are using that field as required. check with ABAP's

  • Contact Person Integration for Vendor Master(ECC to CRM)

    Just wanted to know if Contact Persons in Vendor Master records in ERP are replicated in standard to CRM in the object VENDOR_MAIN. Dont seem to find any std. documents on this that says it should be replicated?. Any ideas?.

    Go to Tx: xk01 in ERP and maintain a Contact person.Replicate to CRM.Vendor is created as an Organization but no relatonship is created to a Contact Person.Is this a std behaviour?.

    The answer as far as I've known so far is that this scenario is not available in standard.
    An idea would be to use a new adapter object in CRM. (on a project basis.)

On create vendor: control screen , when I enter the Customer which I created it gives an error stating Customer 27 is not currently referenced and will be updated accordingly.     Hi,
    You can get this functionality by creating the new Z account group for ex Contact person which will be similar like account group VERT. so create a Z account group and add this as a partner function to your main vendor group. this will help you to create as many contact person for this main vendor.
    at the time of creating PO the system pops up the partner function window to select your correct contact person.

    I'm working on SAP 4.7 and I can't use the contact person in the vendor master data (it's hidden) because I'm not working with a SAP retail system. If I change standard program MF02KFMR in the form RETAIL_OR_STANDARD I can change the value of the field INT_SYSDEF-SYSDEF (from 00 to 01) as SAP was retail system and the view contatct person appears.
    Do you think it's a good idea or I can find some problems in the vendor master data with this change (INT_SYSDEF-SYSDEF = 01)?

    Sorry.
    Since ERP 2005, vendors master data do support maintenance of contact persons in the core.
    Previously, this was true only for IS-Retail.
    ALE Distribution of vendor contact persons has never been developped.
    So your ADR3MAS idocs do surely integrates perfectly in the inbound system expect that this will be an orphaned Person.
    The link will the contact person (KNVK) will never occurs as there is no E1KNVKM segment in CREMAS !

    we can maintain alternative e-mail id, Phone Number, Fax Number etc. for a Vendor, go to MK02 ehter the vendor you want to change, in the Basic data view under communication tab page you can maintain all these parameters apart from the one whcih will be marked as Standard for communication.

  • Vendor Master REplication from CRM

    Hi friends,
    I am maintaining Employees from CRM to R/3 and these EMployees exists as Vendors in ECC (Purchasing). So whenever I replicate a document it is giving me error with these Partner functions CSR, Field Sales
    The possible reason could be I have no option to map the Vendor Accountgroups to CRM Classification through PIDE(ECC)
    Question is
    How do you I maintain vedor master mapping to CRM partner functions,
    I have already mapped the CRM Partner functions to R/3 Account groups, but i am assuming that I need to maintain the classification in PIDE to replicate.
    So please help any suggestions will be greatly rewarded

    Thanks for the Reply. But this is supposed to happen real time.
    Here is the detailed explanation again. I am maintaining the Partners CSR, Field Sales (Internal Employees) in Vendor master and they are coming into CRM as Employees with Mapping Data Transfer. When the same replicates to ECC through a Quote or Order... The problem is these Employees CSR, Field Sales from CRM to ECC are not linked to any of the ECC Classifcations becasue we dont have any option to do so.
    Now when i replicate becasue the classifcation is not mentioned, it is popping back to me and giving me as error on just these 2 Employee functions.
    To resolve this issue, I have to maintain some kind of mapping structure using a classification Consumer, Competitor, Customer, or Prospect. In a different way, I have to assign the vendor account group to a classification. which is not possible through PIDE, coz PIDE only allows you to map customers not vendors.
    My question is how do i handle the incoming vendor partners from CRM into R/3.

  • Vendor Master - Export License - MEK3

    All,
    We have 3 raw material vendors for which we have an export licence. Is there a way to record these in the vendor master ? This would have to affect the conditions leading to the determination of the tax key.
    We tried the info records, but these are overruled by the conditions in MEK3.
    - We have no material tax indicator MM03/OMKK
    - Plant indicator is set OMKM
    - Plant indicator is assigned OMKN
    - Account Assignment indicator is set OMKL
    - Assignment of Tax indicator to Account Assignment Cat. is done OMKO
    MEK3 Taxes: Plant, Account Assignment Origin and Region leads to wrong tax key as there is no distinction between local suppliers and local supplier with export license.

    For a vendor master record all the important controlling parameters are controlled by the <b>account group</b> which you are assigning to the vendor master recored.the controls of the account group are
    <b>Number assignment</b>:whether you can maintain an external number or internal number assignment.In your issue of internal and external vendor you can maintain different account groups for bot and thus assign different number ranges to them
    <b>Field Selection</b>: Account group determines whether a filed in vendor master should be hidden,displayed,required entry or optional entry
    <b>Partner Roles</b>::Account groups determine which are all the valid partner roles for a vendor ,eg: order recepient,invoicing party etc
    <b>Status of Vendor</b>: Account group determines whether the vendor is one time vendor or regular vendor
    <b>Vendor subrange</b>::
    We can delete vendor master record using transaction OBR2

    If you want to assign a sales person to a customer master records,
    It can be done via partners .
    go to sales and dis tab in customer masters and in the partner function put PE  and then put the sales person's personnel number in the next column and save the same.
    now there are several satandard reports availabe sales person wise report where you can display number of customers their sales revenue with the personnel number of the sale semployee.

    Because I want to link the Vendor with their respective budgets. In my case it is Employee Vendors. Once the budgets are assigned to an Internal Order and if it is linked to the vendor, we can control the expenses. Please advise if any other solution, if it is not as per standard.
