How to create sales employee without HR module
Dear Experts
IMGSDMASTER DATABUSINESS PARTNER-USE SALES EMPLOYEE WITHOUT HR
2. Define PErsonnel area (usually locations)
3. Define PErsonnel Subarea (bifurcations within loctions, may not exist but recommended to be maintained)
4. Define Employee Group ( usually Types of employment)
5. Define Employee sub group (usually used as grades)
6. Assign Employee sub groups to Employee groups
7. partner function part also i finish in sales order it shows fine
i already finish above steps and i already gone the more than 40 threads
but in t.code VPE1 system show the message
Choose an action type
can you please guide what steps i have to do further so i can create sales employeehello, friend.
try t-code VPE1 or PAL1. even without HR, you may have to define certain HR organizational units in Enterprise Structure (e.g. personnel areas and sub-areas).

in IMG, make sure you do ACTIVATE SALES PERSONNEL WITHOUT HR. then you define or copy a sales partner based on the sales personnel. do the settings for partner functions in your master data (such as customer) and documents (such as sales order).
the sales personnel is created using t-code VPE1 or PAL1. even without HR, you may still have to define certain HR organizational units. when the sales personnel master data is saved, the system will generate an employee number.
when you create or edit a customer master, enter the employee number and partner function in the PARTNERS tab of the customer master.
when you create a sales order for that customer, the sales personnel number will show up together with the other partners.
you can track sales personnel data using t-code MCTI.

Use of Sales Employee in HR and SD
When you access this in the IMG it creates two transport requests to
transport the relevant HR tables from client 000. So I added these requests
to the buffer and imported the requests into the development client.
However, still when trying to access the funtion in the IMG it asks to
create two more requests. Does anyone know what steps I need to take to get
this to work. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong on the Basis side or
whether this is an HR/SD configuration question. Running the below mentioned
report just generates the same transport requests.
This is the help text on the subject.
Use Sales Employee Without HR
In order to use the sales employee, you need an HR master record. If you do
not use the Human Resources application component (HR), you can transport
the HR tables that you need for creating, changing or displaying a sales
employee from client 000 into the target client.
Note
In order to transport the required HR tables from client 000 into the target
client, you must have two transport requests. Report RPUTRL00 is called and
updates the Customizing and system tables in separate transport requests
Report RPUTRL00 only copies the standard SAP config.
You will need some basic HR config doing (switching off unnecessary fields,
payroll area's , etc.) which shouldn't take more than a couple of hours
Personnel area's (usually same as Company code)
Personnel sub area's
Employee Group and subgroup
Action L1 may need changing (if the standard doesn't suit your requirements)
0001 Organizational Assignment
0002 Personal Data
0006 Addresses
0900 Sales and Distribution Data
0105 Communication

mini-master was setup for 6 countries, config & testing took 2 days / 18
hours. The doc doesn't say which fields we switched off but it should give
you some idea of what was done.

In some forum suggested to use V+23 to create sales employee with PE partner function with account group: 0007 and some forums people are saying use PA30 OR VEP1?
Can you guide me which transaaction code i should use for sales employee creation.

Apple's sales person gave me locked iPad mini when I was so clear that I want unlocked one!
I got an iPad mini from the US I was so clear that I need an unlocked one because I'm leaving the country! So after I left the USA I found out that the sales person gave the wrong iPad. She gave me a locked one! And I tried connecting the USA support and after a week of chatting with the support they now tell me it's not the problem! Because I'm not in the USA now! They even didn't provide me with the receipt number which the sales person didn't send by email as she said!!

Your first paragraph applies to carriers in the USofA. Your second paragraph applies to the original poster's issue. All iPads are not locked to carrier, except for certain restrictions for USA use depending whether the carrier provides CDMA or GSM networks. Regardless, all iPads work worldwide on GSM networks and in some countries on LTE networks. -
I was scammed by a sales person
last week, i visited the store to upgrade my phone. one of representative approached us and saying we, i and my husband were qualified for a free tablet. from the past experience, i know there is nothing like true FREE and we refused to accept an offer. however, he was saying we had credit of $50 and we could use it to have a tablet. after i and my husband spoke, we decided to take it with paying tax only for the machine. After that, he was installing some kind of program and asked us to provide personal information including social security. My husband works for mortgage lender and we are very careful with providing social number since my husband experienced so many bad situation. We asked him why we needed to provide social number and he told us that was the way they approved us $25 credit for each person. WE DID NOT KNOW WE WERE SIGNING CREDIT CARD CONTRACT WITH AMERICAN EXPRESS CARD TO GET $25 SIGNING BONUS FOR EACH ACCOUNT. WE CLEARLY TOLD HIM THAT IF PROVIDING SOCIAL NUMBER LEAD TO CREDIT CHECK OR SOMETHING, WE WERE NOT AUTHORIZING THAT AND WE WOULD CALL SALES PERSON AND VERIZON FOR DAMAGE. HE WAS SMILING AND TOLD US IT WONT HAPPEN. AGAIN WE ASKED AGAIN WHAT WE WERE SIGNING AND HE SAID THIS WAS THE WAY TO GET $25 CREDIT NOT MENTIONING SIGNING CONTRACT WITH AMERICAN EXPRESS CARD. A week later, as we thought, we received american express card. at this moment, we are seeking for legal action no matter what verizon and sale person are responding. I just need to find out the name of sale person and need feedback from verizon why you did such things to customers without disclosing entire situation. Please let know.

And get talked into it. Not good on your part. That free tablet carries a $10 a month charge so $120 for the year.

The name of the salesperson is on your sales receipt. Normally at the bottom.
What the sales person was doing was setting up your tablet to use on Verizon's network. However as a customer Verizon already has your social security number why would he need it again?
My guess is you went to a Verizon reseller and not a corporate store. That was the need for the number.
You have or had 14 days to return everything and walk away. However that FREE tablet has a $70 restocking fee.
Pretty high price for FREE
Two year contract on the tablet is $240 ($120 per year)

I am using PLD to make a new layout for the service call report. I would like to add a column with the sales person of the customer. I have already added the field from the table, but i just get a blank column.
Does anyone know how I can do it?

We cannot select the OSLP table in the list of tables available without using Alt+click. Please reconfirm if you have used this. Since OSLP is not available, you cannot include the Sales Employee column in the report.
One workaround is to set the sales employee name in one of the unused fields on the Service call form (like problem type, call type etc). Just rename and define the sales employees here as well. You can even use Formatted search to update this field for change in BP code.
Since this column is already available in the Service call reports, you can easily rename the columns and use the reports as-is without much customisation on PLD.

Block customer sales order for other sales persons

Could some one tell me how is it possible to block the sales documents created by one sales person from not being accessed by other sales person.
In my case, we r having sales person dedicated to a customer nad when ever he wants to access a document, he should not be able to go into others documents not even in the display mode.

Description
Maintenance transaction for creating and activating field exits
As part of the extension concept, SAP allows you to install a field exit for each screen field. Similar to the conversion exit, the system branches at the field exit at DCI (DATA COMMUNICATIONS INPUT) to a function module, if the field is an input field and a function code was triggered. The function module must adhere to the following naming convention:
Prefix: FIELD_EXIT_
Infix: <Data element name>
Suffix: _0 to _9 (optional), _A to _Z
The interface is automatically generated during the creation of the function module, and has 2 parameters:
Import parameter: INPUT
Export parameter: OUTPUT
After a function code has been triggered the contents of the field are made available to the FB via the "INPUT" import parameter. You can edit this and, when changed, make it available to the ABAP/4 processor in "OUTPUT". The input field contents are usually passed on: you can simply write OUTPUT = INPUT.
If, e.g., you have activated the field exit for the data element 'PROGRAM', then the fields of all the screens, which refer to the data element 'PROGRAM', branch to the function module FIELD_EXIT_PROGRAM. This includes the field 'Program' of the initial screen SAPMS38M0100 in transaction SE38, for example.
If you do not want the function module to be accessed from all screens, assign particular screens to the data element PROGRAM. By allocating an exit number, it is also possible to branch to other function modules with the corresponding suffix _0 ... _Z.
Example: You have assigned screen SAPMS38M0100 and exit number 5 to data element 'PROGRAM'. The corresponding field on SAPMS38M0100 branches to FIELD_EXIT_PROGRAMM_5.
As soon as you activate an exit, the corresponding screens are invalidated.
Note: Field exits are only taken into account during screen generation if the parameter abap/fieldexit = 'YES' is set in the system profile.
Requirements
Set the profile parameter abap/fieldexit = 'YES' before system start.
Limitations
The following ABAP statements are not allowed in the function modules of field exits:

CALL SCREEN, CALL DIALOG, CALL TRANSACTION, SUBMIT,
COMMIT WORK, ROLLBACK WORK,
COMMUNICATION RECEIVE,
EXIT FROM STEP-LOOP,

Field exits cannot be edited with the debugger.
You should not use any external Performs in field exits. The ABAP processor shares the table work areas of externally called programs with those of the first caller. This could lead to errors at field exits that can hardly be analyzed, as field exits are sometimes slipped into the flow of the program at unforeseen events.
Questions and answers on field exits
1. A field exit was created with the CMOD and activated, but it does not get executed when the screen is called.
Since the field exit is not executed until DCI, some action must occur in the screen (e.g. press Return, saving....).
Set the abap/fieldexit profile parameter to YES and start the system again.
After the FIELD_EXIT... function module has been activated and the field exit has been activated, the transaction in whose screen the field exit is to be executed must be terminated. The screen is not generated until it is called.
Do not work on different application servers, otherwise there may be a delay before the field exit becomes active.
The profile parameter must be set either on all application servers or on none.
If the field exit is to be active in certain screens only, then you should check whether you have selected the correct program and the correct screen number (Careful with SUBSCREENS Do not rely on the F1 information for the field!
2. How does setting abap/fieldexit affect the performance?
If a screen is generated and the profile parameter is set, then the system checks in 2 tables (TDDIR, TDDIRS) to see whether a field exit has to be generated for the field. In practice the screen load after a Put is not generated until the screen is called. The user will not experience a noticeable delay, since screen generation is extremely fast.
3. Can the contents of other screen fields be read in a field exit?
In principle all fields can be copied to global variables in the TOP or the function group. However, since the order in which the field exits are called is not guaranteed, this possibility should not be used.
4. How does the field exit work in step-loop fields?
After data input to DCI the field exit will be called as many times as fields are visible on the step-loop. The SY-STEPL system variable is incremented each time. If a new value is assigned to be field, then it will be visible in the module between LOOP. ENDLOOP. This module will also be called as many times as there are visible step-loop lines.
5. Can field exits be debugged?
No. Field exits have to be tested in isolation in the development environment. To analyze problems that occur only in the screen environment, the relevant variables can be written to the file system using TRANSFER... and can be analyzed there.
6. What should one do if the field contents are not getting transported to ABAP/4?
Check whether you have assigned a value to the OUTPUT field.
7. When does the field exit get called in the case that there is a conversion exit attached to the data element?
The field exit will be called after the conversion exit. This means that the INPUT field contains the data in the same form as that in which the ABAP/4 program also gets them.

To use Sale Employee without implementing HR Module, follow this:
You have to Maintain Partner Determination in SPRO:
SPRO --> IMG --> SD --> Basic Functions --> Partner Determination -->Set up Partner Determination
As you want it in Sales Order (say, At Header), Click:
-->Set Up Partner Determination for Sales Document Header
Select TA - Standard Order.
Now, From Left-hand side tree, click on:
Partner determination procedure assignment.
Here assign TA to your Sales Doc type (Say, OR - Sales Order).
Again from Left-hand tree, select
Account groups - Function Assignment
Here, Link all Customer Acct Groups to PE/ VE
Similarly configure Partner Determination for Customer Master & other Sales Documents.
Now in Sales Order (T. Code: VA01/ 02), to include Sales Employee:
Goto --> Header --> Partner
here, in Column Partner. Function: Select VE/ PE as defined for Sales Employee.
To Create Sales Employee / Representative - T. Code: VPE1 / PAC1

we are having a querry like Sales Planning in Sales & Distribution:
Company need's to set targets based on Sales Office wise/Sales group Wise/Sales Person wise. Later on company will check target Sales, Planned Sales, Achieved Sales. So how can we achieve in Sales and distribution module wise.

Suppose a sales person is there in my company name as:X. His target for this financial year is Rs.10 Crores. For that he will give list of materials to achieve this target and quantities and tentative dates also for which materials he needs. So that my company will do proper planning for production also to supply these materials timely. for this Company needs to analyse what is the given target and acheved target and what are all the materials are sold with respect to quantity. what materials are not sold means dead stock. So that how can we solve this solution in SAP.

but sill I had not getting my proper solution.
I want to restrict sales person to see & access unit price. Here I know option of block authorization of document setting but its not good option because , In future ,if sales user wants to changes forms setting in future so Its become problematic for user. so I want do this without restrict user for form setting & only hide unit price table from him/her. also He/her able to access form setting with out unit price.

Can Sales Order be prepared without Price List or Sales Person ?
No and no.
If you're not using sales compensation and not interested in recording the salesperson for the purposes of printing on documentation or internal analysis, you could always set up a default to the seeded value 'No Sales Credit'.
As for the pricelist, every item on an Oracle sales order has to exist on a price list. The only exception is a configuration item if you're using CTO. Of course there is nothing to stop you creating one simple pricelist with a product context of 'All items' priced at zero which can sometimes be useful during initial system setup when you're checking your OM setups work correctly before moving on to pricing.

Duplex Printing - Page 2 upside down
