Sales Quotation Scenario - need help

Hi,
I need help in fulfilling my client requirement.
Once quotation is created it should be in the blocked stage.
Once the sales manager changes the quantity it should  not allowed to change the quantity and only Marketing director can change the quantity.
After Marketing director changes and finalizes the quantity in the quotation the item lines in the quotation either need to be greyed out or should not be editable but should allow to add items in the same quotation.
Now Sales order should be able to be created referring this quotation.
Please let me how can we achieve this functionality either by standard SAP or by ABAP development.
Thanks
Venkata Rama Reddy

Once quotation is created it should be in the blocked stage.
Once the sales manager changes the quantity it should not allowed to change the quantity and only Marketing director can change the quantity.
- To disable the qtty in Quotation Creation-VA21 ( either use the SHDB-Transaction Variant, Make the order qtty- display mode/ maintian this order qtty )
+NOTE:   incompletion procedure-line item level- remove "order qtty" for quotaiton or else system will not allow to save the Quotation ( or else you save the Incomplete document)
- Use BS02- Status profile- maintian sales manager /  Marketing director - as status No.
- Business transaction in the status profile _ maintain the object " Create Order" - objectionable against the status no. & last colum is Authorization code- assign respective profile here & maintain the same in respective Username- for authorizations.
After Marketing director changes and finalizes the quantity in the quotation the item lines in the quotation either need to be greyed out or should not be editable but should allow to add items in the same quotation.
Now Sales order should be able to be created referring this quotation.
HOpe it helps

  • Multiple Source Messages Scenario - Need help

    Hi,
    This is my scenario.
    System A sends Message A
    System B sends message B
both of them are diffrent strcutures.
Now I need to map both of the messages to Message C and send it to system C.
I would need help on how to achive this requirement.
I tried using correlation in BPM but i dont know if I'm following the right approach to activate correlation.
Any help in this regard would be appreciated.
    Cheers!!
    Sidharth

    Hi,
I've gone through the thread but did not find much information.
The blog talks about collecting messages for same interface which I'm afraid is not wht I'm looking for.
Just to summarize wht I've done....
    Start --> Receive 1 (Message A) --> Receive 2 (Message B) --> Transformation --> Send 1 (Message C) --> Stop
I've defined correlation accordingly... to pick up the PO num field.
Now when message A is submitted the outbound status on sxmb_moni is set to waiting....
But the moment I submit message B, The outbound status is set to a Green Flag and there is a  SYSFAIL entry in the queue.
The error is " Permanent Error in BPE Inbound Processing"
But I see the message A is has still got the outbound status wating..
I guess I'm missing something in correlation..
    cheers!!

    Hello experts,
I am new to XI and I need help with real time XI scenarios.
can you please give me 2-3 examples of What kinds of systems involve in data transfer (both sap and non sap) for transfer of what kinds of data (general IDOCs, RFCs and other kinds of data)
and what is the purpose of that scenario? also how many times the data will be transferred between the systems?
    Thanks in advance,

  • Mail Adapter Scenario  ----- Need help

    Hi All
Again with same mail adapter scenarios .
I am trying to send my e-mail on Microsoft Exchange server to a FTP server .
So flow is like Mail system->XI-> File system.
While configuring sender mail adapter , i gave the following URL  imap://S4DE8PSAANH.ibm.com/InBox as i am using IMAp4 as the protocol.
Now i have set of doubts and questions for which i need input from you all
a>I am still seeing my sender communication channel with green light (running ), its not picking up any new mail i came to my inbox. Any reasons why it did not pick up ?
b> Now to set up Receiver Determination and Interface Determination , i need to have inbound interface created, but here when my requirenent is just to send a e-mail content as XML to fle system , what interface should i use or how should i create a interface with interface mapping or message mapping ?
c>Any idea whether just configuring a sender mail adapter with certain poll interval will result in a XML message that can be seen in SXMB_MONI txn ? Or do i need to fullly set up my receiver system and complete whole configuration of the entire flow.
My intent is just to get a simple mail body into XI , how do i achieve it ?
I gave URL as imap://S4DE8PSAANH.ibm.com/InBox , still i did not get any XML message in SXMB_MONI txn ..or should i give IP address of my exchange server instead of S4DE8PSAANH.ibm.com ? ...
Can we see a XML message if only a sender communication channel is set up with no receiver ? .. I am just wondering why new mail in my inbox is not getting picked up into XI.
Thanks a lot to all who helped to me earlier , i guess i rewarded points to all those who guided me : -) and will do same again as promised.
    Please help .
    Thanks and Regards
    rohan

    Hi Rohan -
Here's what I can tell you:
    - if the hostname is wrong, you'll get a 'UnknownHostException'.
    - if the path (e.g. Inbox) is wrong or doesn't exist, you'll get a 'IOException...  The requested item could not be found'.
    - if you don't configure user authentication, you'll get a 'NullPointerException'.
This is all within Adapter Monitor - so since your mail CC status is green, we can only assume that your mail host is valid, your path is valid, and your user id/pwd is valid.
One thing to try, since 'Inbox' is common to any mailbox, try creating a new folder at the Inbox level (e.g. called 'Test1') and specify the URL as:
    imap://S4DE8PSAANH.ibm.com/Test1
and see if your CC status is still green in the Adapter Monitor (make sure to look at the ID Cache Notifications and the timestamp in the adapter monitor).
Outside of this, SP9 is relatively old.  You should patch your XI system as soon as you get a chance - with or without this problem.

    Jin

  • Strange scenario - need help

I have Skype on my Windows 8.1 laptop and on my Android tablet
When I use the tablet for skype everything works great - except I am unable to create group calls which is absolutely eseential for my work.
Therefore when I need to do group calls, I either get someone else to create the group or I try to use skype on the laptop.
However this is when the problems start.
Two common people I talk with are CJ and NT.
CJ uses Skype on a Mac Laptop.
NT uses skype on a Windows 8.1 laptop.
    * If I have a call with CJ on the tablet, everything works 100% fine
    * If I have a call with NT on the tablet, everything works 100% fine
    * If I have a call with CJ on the laptop, his sounds randomly cuts out (usually in 3-5 seconds blocks, maybe every 5-10 minutes)
    * If I have a call with NT on the latop, everything works 100% fine
    So...
    * I thought the problem was with my audio output - but I never have the problem with NT?
    * I thought the problem was with CJs microphone - but I never have a problem when I talk with him on the tablet?
    I've tried...
    * Ehanced audio / non-enhanced audio
    * Re-install drivers
    * Headset / no headset
It's really frustrating! Now my tablet is basically stuck as my skype phone however this means I cant do group calls which I really need.
Please, anyone, help me solve this dilemna!
    I use skype every day.

I've delved further into this testing am starting to see a trend...
Other contacts of mine CC and HK are boths Mac users and they have similar problems to CJ mentioned above when on the laptop but never on the tablet.
Meanwhile another contact AT is a windows user and they never have problems on both the tablet and the laptop.
Therefore, the trend so far is that if I talk to a Mac User on my Windows 8.1 laptop I have audio problems, meanwhile every other scenario works fine!!
P.S. These are regular contacts of mine which I NEVER had any problem on my Windows 7 laptop... wish I still had that laptop to re-test but I gave it away...

  • Inventory Managment Scenario - Need help

    Hi,
    I have following Scenario,
    On BW Side:
    1) Data is loaded once from DataSource 2LIS_03_BX in Cube1.
    2) Data is loaded from DataSource 2LIS_03_BF in Cube1 using 'Initialize Delta Process'.
    3) Data is loaded from DataSource 2LIS_03_UM in Cube1 using 'Initialize Delta Process'.
    4) Data is loading every week from DataSource 2LIS_03_BF in Cube1 using 'Delta Update'.
    5) Data is loading every week from DataSource 2LIS_03_UM in Cube1 using 'Delta Update'.
    On R/3 Side:
Outbound Queue MCEX03 (LBWQ) is filling correct and Delta queue (RSA7) for DataSources 2LIS_03_BF und 2LIS_03_UM contains delta data correctly.
So Cube1 is filling correctly und Query on Cube1 is working also correctly.
NOW, we have a new InfoCube (Cube2) which should filled the data from same DataSources 2LIS_03_BX, 2LIS_03_BF and 2LIS_03_UM (same R/3-System) from now onwards.
    So,
I have to fill the Setup table for 2LIS_03_BX on R/3-Side, to load Current Stock (opening balance) once in Cube2. Later the delta data from DataSources 2LIS_03_BF und 2LIS_03_UM will be loaded simultaneously in both InfoCube (Cube1 and Cube 2). In RSA3, 2LIS_03_BX contains right now no data!
    Question:
When I can fill the Setup table for 2LIS_03_BX on R/3-Side? Or when is the appropriate time to fill the Setup table for 2LIS_03_BX on R/3-Side? Outbound Queue MCEX03 (LBWQ) and Delta queue (RSA7) for DataSources 2LIS_03_BF und 2LIS_03_UM must be empty when I fill the Setup table for 2LIS_03_BX on R/3-Side?? No material postings must be carried out during the process (filling the Setup table for 2LIS_03_BX)?? Any useful suggestion??
    Thanks for the answer
    Moha

    Hi Moha,
--> You are loading directly to cube from 2lis_03_BX/UM/BF datasources. So update queue should be empty at time of setup. For that system(R/3) should be locked for postings.
--> And also SETUP takes lot of time.
--> <i><b>You can try this: I think you already have data in BW.</b></i>
--> Stop V3 job(to pull data update queue to delta queue)
--> Pull remaining detla into BW(CUBE1).
--> Now delete initialization and re -Initialize datasources for both cubes(CUBE1 and CUBE2).
--> Push Historic data from CUBE1 to CUBE2 by creating export datasource on CUBE1.
No need of setup, No need of system downtime.
--> Continue delta's to both cubes.
    Hope it Helps

Under sales replacement Policy we have taken the sales return at shop.
Now we have to transfer the material to factory and take the CENVAT credit.
How can we do the excise entry at the time of goods recipt the factory
    PLEASE HELP
    With Reagrds
    Niti Narayan

Use J1IEX transaction and use the EWPO transaction type to capture the transaction. Also please remember that EWPO accepts only Goods receipt via MM process and not SD process in the Standard scenario so please ensure that it is allowed for other types as well. Any ABApper should be able to help you on this. There is a SAP note on this so please check it out as well.

  • Bypass Scenario-- Need help.

    Hi Experts,
    New to XI..
    Iam doing a bypass scenario..
I got the IDoc-XML from source and i need to route it to SAP system.
There is no need of doing any design part for this scenario?
No need of doing any mapping to acheive this??
No need to import idoc from SAP ?
Because frnds are claiming that we can acheive this by doing only configuration part.. Adapters will take care of picking and posting this idoc-xml..
can i achieve  this w/o doing Design part ?? If yes pls provide the brief steps how i can achieve this..
    Thanks in advance..
    Regards
    Reddy.

it is possible to send a message without an IR. but ins this case as u wud req to post it to SAP, IR might be come into pciture. ways to post an idoc data to sap:
    1. bapi
    2. proxy
    3. idoc
here all the above scenarios req mapping. hence i believe ur case wud req mapping.
once case where u can post the idoc xml to sap with IR is have it saved in applicatioon server as a file and then then using ALE config u can read the data to post to transaction.

  • Need help for Update and cancel SalesOrder

    Hi All,
I  written java code for create sales order based on salesquotation, now i want to update and cancel sales order ,i need help to update and cancel salesorder.
can give any related links for update and cancel salesorder.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Srinivas

    Hi srinivas.L
It is simple, here is some sample code. You must use getbykey to get the document. Then once you got it you can make whatever changes you need. Then update it. where i have oOrder.Update() you can have oOrder.cancel
    Dim oOrder As SAPbobsCOM.Documents
            oOrder = oCompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oOrders)
            If oOrder.GetByKey(530) Then
                oOrder.Lines.SetCurrentLine(1)
                oOrder.Lines.WarehouseCode = "01"
                If oOrder.Update() <> 0 Then
                    MsgBox(oCompany.GetLastErrorDescription)
                End If
            Else
                MsgBox("Nothing found")
            End If

  • LSMW - Need help with Sales Order (Modification VA01)

    Hi,
I need help with an LSMW for Sales Order (VA01).
I need to do the following:
    1. Copy the Standard Sales Order LSMW
    2. They (users) would like to be able to pick the batch (lot) from the sales order.
    3. Also, they would like to have functionality, where from the list of Sales Order numbers, they would be able to switch one part number for another.
Please help with the above 3 needs.
    Thanks,
    Laura

    Hi
Run transaction SE38, insert your program (RVINVB10), select DOCUMENTATION option and press display
Just only you need to consider the BDC program needs to read afile with all informations to create a sales order, so you have to create a program to prepare a file arraged as RVINVB10 needs, the documentaion explains how the file has to be created.

  • Need help for asynchr. scenario between 4.6c and XI

    Hi,
I need some help with this.  We are running 4.6c and now I need to talk to XI 3.0 asynchronously.
I have a situation where I need to send data to an external application.
So: R/3(4.6c) -> XI -> external application (the application is not in our landscape).
It's not required for now to get an answer back from the external application so what are my options?
I want to build my solution around that I will eventually get a response back to be real time but
for now, the FTP adapter should work fine.  PCK will be implimented in the future to make it real time.
Just for a test, I tried:
    R/3 -- (RFC Adapter) --> XI --> File adapter ...   but it's crashing in R/3 since R/3 is expecting
a response back.  If I setup two receivers in XI (one being R/3 and the other the file adapter, then it's crashing in XI saying since I cannot have two receivers for a synchronist request.)
I was looking to use an ABAP proxy but from what I'm reading, it cannot be used in 4.6c.
So what are my options? Is it only trough an IDoc that I can communicate out of R/3 to XI if my request don't required a response back?
    Thanks
    Yves

    Hi Yves.
For a 4.6 R/3 system the only possible options are the RFC adapter and the Idoc adapter.
The Idoc adapter is used for async processing (no reponse)
The RFC adapter is used for sync processeing (and will therefore always expect a respons message)
The File adapter also onlu supports async (no response) processing.
There are two ways to solve your problem:
    1. Create a Idoc to file scenario
    2. Use the sync to async bridge
On help.sap.com you can fing documentation on this scenario:
