I have to download Sales Representative from ECC 5 to CRM 5.0
Its created in TX VPE1 not in HR master data.
Do any one can help on the step to follow.

I have downloaded a Business Package for Internal Sales Representantive:

But, after import this BP some objects are not available to the standard role ("Internal Sales Representative").
Should I configure it manually? Or is it a problem when I imported it?

Sales Representative # not assigned

Dear All.
i created a query based on SAP best practices for Sales Analysis, when i try to create a query to see the Sales by Sales Employee or when i try to drill down in existing query by Sales Representative it gives me # Not Assigned.
please help and let me know where to assign.

Hi,
Check if Sales Representative is a characteristic in the underlying info provider(cube or DSO).If so check if has data and whether has a mapping in the transformation.
Or else see if it a navigational attribute...if so, see if the master data for the info object, for which it is an attribute, is loaded.
Also activate master data for that info object.

Sales representative as created by

I am working with the system that is using the field 'Created by' for sales representative data field.
Why would someone configure their system to use this field rather than setting the Partner function?
Could this be changed in production? But then it would be changing the business process and not the system itself.

Hello Edna,
They have configured the partner function for sales representative and then created the user id using transaction SU01 for their sales representative in order to keep a track that which sales representative has created sales order.
They may be tracking as to decide the incentives or commision which they can give to them.
Like in insurance industry, there is a track to find out what target a particular representative has reached in order to decide on their incentives and commission.

                 there are many other complex key figures along with it .
                 i have just published a part of it as i am unable to find solution for it.
                 it is just an example so that people can understand it easily.

Business Package for Internal Sales Representative 1.0

I'm trying to install the Business Package for Internal Sales Representative 1.0 to explore the options of using Business Packages in our portal. I have the SAP Library Link for this BP ( http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/EN/b7/036b4060a1181ce10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm ), and I've looked at the configuration information on the page.
So far I've imported the business package for common parts and the business package for internal sales representative, I assigned the alias "SAP_ECC_SalesService" to our ECC connection (does it need to be the default alias?). We also have an ITS installed for the connected system. We don't currently have our BI system connected to this portal, but it said that was optional. I have also assigned the role from each business package to my user, but when I open the iviews, they give me errors.
I am not sure what I am supposed to do to make the settings for the launchpad. Also, what other steps do I need to complete? Do I need to do something in the source system to set up the connection?

Report on " commission of the sales department with sales representative"

Can any one help me out in developing a basic report on " commission for the sales department sorted by sales representative"
Tell me which field Holds the commission value, and how sales department and sales representative are related.
Kindly help me in giveing tables and condition for the above.

For these details there will be standard reports given by SAP. For some reasons if you are looking at a custom report, the same will be available in VBAK, VBAP, LIKP tables.

Default warehouse for sales representative

We have webtools & several licenses to use for our representatives in the field. We would like to have them place orders for us, but assign a specific warehouse to keep up with their inventory that they have on hand. How do I assign those sales representatives to a particular warehouse so that when orders placed by them on their customers will show product leaving their warehouse?

Difference betwen "Sale Representative" & "Employee Responsible"

Hi,
What is the difference between "sales representative" partner function 00000012 & "employee responsible" partner function 00000014 ?
How is this used in a business context? does it not tend to behave as duplicate if we have just one sales team member (or employee) who is handling a customer?
Any thoughts are welcome.

Sales Representative: A person who is representing & responsible specifically for sales activity like your Sales Executive.
Employee Responsible: A Person who can be responsible for any activity like transaction processing, service representative etc., it can also be a sales representative.
In a business context like "Regional Manager", generally responsible for all activities for a region like sales, service, in this scenario he will be used as Employee responsible in transactions.

VPE1 - Different layout in Create Sales Representative

Dear All,
   There are two systems ( DEV & QAS ) which have same component versions.
   In the Tcode : VPE1 -> Create Sales Representative. Under the Organizational Assignmnet,
   in the QAS I can see the 'Position' field but in the DEV I couldn't see it.
   Do you mind to advise on this ?

At DEV, somebody might have changed/altered Account Group for Sales representive.
Compare the Account Group for Sales representive at DEV with QAS.
