Sales Return Process at Depot with RG23D Update

Hi,
Can anybody give me complete process for Sales return at depot with RG23D register update ?

Hai sanjay,
1) create return order in depot
2) return delivery
3) when u create return delivery Goods receipt document generates
4) enter the goods receipt document in J1IG and enter the excise values manually with reference to header excise condition values from return order and update depot register.
As when return comes depot register has to be updated with value and quantity. then create credit memo to customer.

    2. Delivery from the depot plant .
    3. Excise Invoice -J1IJ in Depot plant
    4. GR in MFG plant.
    5.Capture & post excise invoice in MFG plant.

  • Sales Return Process-Invoice(Credit Memo) with ref. to delivery

    Dear All,
    I am doing sales return process.
    Sales Order-RE
    Delivery-LR
    Invoice-RE,
    with ref. to sales order it is allowing me to create invoice.
    But,with ref. to delivery it is not allowing.
    It is giving "The document is not relevant for billing".
    I have changed item category  REN for delivery (A) related billing.
    Also changed req. copy control setting.
    Can anybody guide on this issue.

    Normally return credit memo will be generated with reference to the retrun order, and that is the standard SAP process. Do you have any specific requirements to have the credit memo with reference to a retrun delivery?
    The Item category REN Billing Relevence will be B as per SAP standard, if you wish to have a delivery related credit RE, the make this to A .
    Maintain the Delivery to Billing Copying control in VTFL for LR --> RE, add the item categroy REN.
    Maintain the copying requirements for header as 3 Header Del Rel and for item as 4 Deliv-Related item .
    Once these setting are done, then check whether the RE billing type is triggering from LR?

    The return process is not supported by standard SAP.
    Considering my experience even if you want to get it done through some cutomizations it is not very successful.
    Please refer to SAP note 751609 which will give the further details

  • How to map sales return process from customer to mfg plant without Depot??

    we have a Mfg plant (mfg1) & having  seven Depot.
    regular process of STO DEPOT process
    ME21N-Purchase order STO
    VL10B - Replenishment delivery
    VL02N - PGI
    VF01- Proforma invoice
    J1IIN - Excise invoice
    MIGO - Goods Receipt
    J1IG - Excise Capture
    VA01 - sale order
    VL01N - Out bond Delivery
    J1IJ - Excise invoice
    VF01 - commercial invoice.
    J1IDEPOTSTOCK - RG23D Report.
    In Case of rejection the Sales Return is directly delivered from customer to 
    manufacturing Plant,In this process depot is not directly  billed. The transaction is
    done between customer to manufacturing plant.our question is how to MAP above scenario in sap
    (currently all this activity is done in excel sheet ) please suggest any proper method....

    Thanks for your reply, however one of my clients requirment is that the returns delivery will be made directly to the mfg plant and not to the depot plant. In this case the excise calculation is going HAYWAYAA......I understand that it will make sense if the returns is 1st made to the depot and then to the mgf plant. The system wont allow me to do a returns with refernece to the invoice since it has been made from the depot to the plant. Also this will create a problem while doing A PGR. I will be grateful if you could comment on the same.

  • Third Party Sales Returns process

    Hello All
    We have a third-party sales process which is automated i.e Sales order and Purchase requisitions(VA01) are created using the data coming in the incoming EDI file, the Purchase requisition is automatically converted to a Purchase order, the Invoice Reciept(MIRO) is posted and the Sales Invoice (VF01) is posted.
    The question is how do we handle the Returns or the Credit process?
    Is there a way I can configure the system to create a Returns order which will also update the Pur.Req quantity then the Purchase order quantity  or directly the Purchase order quantity. I can then use this information to raise a credit to the Vendor Invoice.
    I don't want to just raise a credit memo and update the sales side and leave the purchase side open.

    Third Party Return Process
    Please check this extract from the sap library :
    If the vendor grants you a credit memo on a quantity or a value basis, you can then send this credit memo directly to your customer.
    The billing type Third-party credit memo (G2S) is available for this. The billing type Third-party credit memo works with the item category TASG (third-party credit memo item). The Billing-relevance indicator F is set in Customizing for Sales for this item category. This means that the cost is not created. In Customizing for Sales, the item category TASG is set at item level in copying control for the billing type G2S (copying control sales document by billing document) as the target item category (source: TAS-> Target:> TASG.)
    Process Flow
    Create a billing documente with billing type Third-party credit memo (for further information, see the section Creating a billing document in the Billing document). Enter the third-party order as a document still to be processed. The quantities are automatically removed from the invoice.
    The above is the process for giving a credit memo which can be adapted for return goods.

    Now my cleint wants Depo return process
    Step 1: Va01 reference to Billling   here basic excise duty JEXP is coming right and JECS and JHCS is not flowing it is taking JEXP duty only.
    Step 2:Vl01n
    Step 3 :Vf01 :Order-related credit mem- here Excise duties are coming but it is taking the 8 % 2 % and 1% it should take from depo sales return order step 1
    Step 4: J1ih -Depo plant and Depo excise group JV adjustment  by using additional excise button.
    Please let me know where i have done the mistake , i have check in copy control it is maintain Pricing type: " D"

    5 Create Transfer posting in MB1B with movement type 453, storage location 0005 and save
    6 Note down the material document reference
    7 Go to J1IG to reverse excise issue posting
    8 Click "Capture"
    9 Key in the material document number and series group
    10 Click "Details". Now select the line item and again click "More documents"
    11 Key in the original excise invoice reference created at supplying plant
    12 Skip all warning message and go back
    this i am checking if i take this solution

    solved but in depo returns credit memo here still excise values are not copying from depo returns sales order.
    where the problem lays i have checked VTFA copy control and sap notes .

  • Returns Process - Billing Document with reference to delivery

    Dear All,
    In standard returns process we are creating billing document with reference to sales order.
    How can we make the billing dcoument to be created with refernce to delivery as the business wants the invoice document to be created only when the delivery is posted.
    Kinldy advise what are the configuration settings required.

    Hi Raees,
    Isnt your process flow like this: Sales Order>Delivery>Billing>Return Order>Return Delivery-->Billing?
    In general, to ensure that you're creating the invoice always w/ref to a delivery document pls do the following:
    1) In VOV8, where you cnofigure your sales doc type remove the order related billing i.e. keep it blank.
    2) In VOV8, put the billing doc in delivery relevant doc.
    3) In VOV8, in shipping section put the delivery doc type.
    4) Create copy controls between the delivery doc type and billing in VTFL at header and item levels.
    5) In the item category for this order type+ item cat grp ensure the billing relevance is either B, C or F.
    6) Maintain no copy controls between sales order and the billing in VTFA.

    We are following Depot Excise Billing Process. Where we are using Stock Transport Purchase Order Process for transferring the goods from Mfg.Plant to Depot.
    Now, we require return process for returning the Goods from Depot to Mfg. Plant. Please also confirm Excise Register needs to be updated? If yes, please tell us the transaction for the same.

    I have followed the procedure given. However, in J1IEX transaction system gives me error message "Excise Invoice 9001000027 28.05.2008 of plant 410027 does not exist"
    Where Excise Invoice 9001000027/28.05.2008 is the number generated in T.Code J1IJ. And 410027 is Vendor code.
    Please give your valuable suggession to solve the issue.

  • Sales return process

    hai Gurus,
    I have a scenario of Sales return. The customer returns goods with challan.The return sales order is created for 100 nos as per the challan.
    But by physical verifcation only 90nos are there.
    90 nos are sent to QA for Inspection no QA module interface here in this scenario.
    QA will inspect and sents a manual document which  contains Ok quantity and not ok quantity(damaged).
    80 ok and 10 not ok ( for example)
    Now For 80 ok the client will do pgr and for the remaining 10nos which is not ok he will use MB1C and dump in Scrap storage location.
    Now credit memo.Here with respect to return sales order he will select manually 80 nos whre the return order conatins 100 nos and prepare a credit memo.
    Remaining 10 nos they have a scenario of claiming to insurance so he will select 10 manually l from the selection list and prepare credit memo for the customer but the price excise duties all will be claimed to insurance account.
    Now the user says that to select manually the Ok and notok quantity from the open sales return order will be difficult so he wants some information message when user does the credit memo the system should say for return order 80 nos is ok.
    The client feels that sometimes the user will wrongly select the quantities eventhough details regarding the QA information is in front of his desk.
    So please give me any suggestions hw to block the user he wrongly enter the ok quantity nos.
    Any user exit or anything please mention

  • Letter of Credit in Sales return process/

    Hi All,
    This issue is related to Letter of Credit, I created a  sales order and maintained Financial document in Billing Tab (Letter of Credit) & saved the sales order and the balance of LOC is updated, i created Delivery  &  Invoice also . Later stage the customer returned the materials and we Created the return sales order but the letter of Credit open value is not increasing or not Crediting.
    Please let us know in case of return process weather the LOC or Financial document will credit or not?

    Letter of Credit is used in credit management as one of the tool for Risk management. In case of return process LOC or financial document wont get credited as LOC is for intimation to the customer if the risk level has come to high.Also run the t.code VXDG.

  • Query on SALES RETURN PROCESS

    Hi All,
    Scenario : Sales return domestic.
    1) I have created Return sales order with reference to Invoice number
    2) Have generated Return Delivery
    3) Have generated the Invoive.
    Now when I check the MB52 report  value appears as "Zero" under value unrestricted tab, why is it so , Kindly help me if am following the correct procedure.
    PS: Now If I have to send the material back to the customer do I have to create new sales order and then dispatch it ??

    Hello Suvin,
    You can try to check the value for your return sales order with T-code MB51
    Go to MB51  Enter Movement type 651 execute..
    Next screen Press Ctrl + Shift + F12 . It will take you to next screen..
    In this screen use Ctrl + F8, you will get field Column selection Popup..
    in that Choose " Amount in LC" & Sales Value.
    With this you will get the value. If the value is Zero then it means that the return stock from customer is non valuated.
    Note:
    T.Code MB52 : Display Warehouse stock of Material in Hand.
    App:lication
    You use this report to display the total stock of a material (quantity and value) at plant and storage location level. If transit stocks or stock transfer stocks exist at plant level, the system totals these stocks and displays them in the column In Stock Transfer in a stock line without a storage location.
    Note that in this report, the stock value of the warehouse stock is calculated using the following simplified formula:
    Stock value = quantity x value/valuated stock
    Therefore the stock value specified here only has informal characters and does not represent the actual stock value.

    This functionality is part of SAP Enhancement packages for ECC. It was earlier part of the IS-BEV solution and the documentation pertaining to the same hasn't changed.

  • Laptop returned from service depot with a missing cap

    I just had a ThinkPad T410s returned from a service depot here in Canada.  It was sent in to replace a small part on the underside of the laptop, which was repaired.  However, it came back with one of the screws on the display missing it's cover.  Based on some other posts I had read on here, I took pictures of the laptop when I packed it to go to the depot, so I know 100% that this part wasn't missing when I sent it in for service.

    I've called support and I asked them to just send me the cover so that I could snap it on.  However, they said they could not find a part # for it, so I'd have to send the laptop back to the depot for service again.  Can anyone on identify the kit that would contain this part so that I can avoid this?  In the service manual I see three different kits that include "Screw cap, thin" but I'm not sure if that's the part I need or not:

    45M2674  LCD miscellaneous parts
    I'm quite irritated that I have to deal with this at all.
    1) I don't know why they would have touched the LCD screen in the first place to replace a part on the bottom of the laptop.
    2) It demonstrates a lack of detail on the service depot's part: a workbench should be checked to make sure no parts are leftover that weren't there when the laptop was unpacked.  And even if the part was missing when it arrived, good customer service would be to replace it.
