Sales return to be confiured to require a preceding sales order in referenc

Dear All,
System could be configured to require a preceding sales order document (from the intial sales flow) when creating a returns
order, ensuring the actual return is linked with a preceding sales transaction
Regards
Arun

Hello!
I read your message and actually helped me to think about some config, that is:
If I do not assign this field as M (mandatory), then I would have the possibility of creating the return order with reference to different billing documents, by selecting them from the menu. I could include as many as items as possible, once it is the same customer.
Is this reasonable or there is another way to create with reference of multiple billing documents.
Kind regards,
Fabiana Anjos

  • Copy Characteristics Values from Contract to Sales Order

    Hi Experts,
I have created a contract with multiple configurable assemblies in Super BOM of Header Material. Requirement is to create a sales order by referencing that Contract. But system is not copying Characteristics Values. I have to enter all those characteristics manually again in Sales Order, which is increasing workload and more prone to error.
Configuration Profile of Header Material: Sales Order BOM (SET) -  Multi Level
Configuration Profile of Configurable Assembly: Sales Order BOM (SET) -  Multi Level
    Tried with below options:
    1. Copy Item Number, Complete reference
    2. Same Item category, copy schedule lines, under Configuration field = A.
    Please suggest a solution.
    Thanks,

    Hi Shiva,
    Thanks for your input.
But I have checked with all combinations, but not working.

  • Multiple quotation for one sales order

    Hi all,
My requirment is to create one sale order that reference from many quotations.  From what I try in CRM, when I want to create a follow-up document, I have to start from the quotation and choose create follow-up document then the sale order will be created. However, that's only good for one quotation one sale order.
What I want is to have a sale order that referenced from many quotations, is this possible in CRM?
Thanks in advance for all the helps.

    Hi Gilbert,
As u rightly said one quotation one sale order as a folow up.
But u can make use of <b>Object Relationship Profile</b>, to be added in ur transaction type of sales order.
So after creating a sales order in refernce to a quotation, u can add other quotation in the Relationship tab which gets added to the Transaction screen.
This will also update the document flow.
The object Relationship Profile can be added in trnasaction type as well as Item Category.

  • Referencing Sales Order to a Quotation via BAPI

    Dear all,
I encouter problems to reference a Sales Order to a Quotation when I try to use the SAP BAPI 'BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2'. Even though later when I managed to create the referencing on both the Sales Order Header and Sales Order Line to the Quotation, the system still doesn't closed the Quotation status as Completed. This has caused the Quotation remains active and open for other Sales Order for referencing. Any ideas?
    Thank you and regards;
    -ah tiang-

    Hi!
According to OSS note 370988 it seems you can't create sales order properly with reference to quotation using BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 in straight-forward way:
    Symptom
This note describes the problems of the 'Create with reference' function when using BAPIs to create sales documents.
If you are working online, you can use this function module to create a sales document with reference to an existing sales document or a billing document (for example, a debit or credit memo request) according to fixed rules. The rules for transferring information from the source document to the target document are defined in the copying control on header and item level. The creation with reference permits an item selection.
When you use BAPIs in SD, a function of this type is not fully available. A reference is only possible for a quantity contract, so that the target quantity of the contract can be reduced by the order quantity of the sales document. Furthermore, the document flow is also updated.
As an alternative to 'Create with reference' in Transaction VA01, two variants are provided for solving the 'Create with reference' problem in the BAPI.
    1. Create a '1:1 ' - that is, a document copy of a sales document (customer quotation, order) with 'BAPI_SALESDOCUMENT_COPY'. At this point, you cannot create the 1:1 copy of either a billing document or a delivery.
    2. Create a sales document that refers to an existing document with 'BAPISDORDER_GETDETAILEDLIST' and 'BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2'.
    Reason and Prerequisites
As of yet, no method exists for creating a sales document that refers to an existing document.
    Solution
    For solution No. 1
    1. Create the documents using the BAPI_SALESDOCUMENT_COPY function module. However, this only permits a 1:1 copy without factoring out individual items.
    2. After you have created the document copy, you can use a change BAPI to edit this copy.
    For solution No. 2
    1. Collect the data for the reference document (for example a customer quotation) with the 'BAPISDORDER_GETDETAILEDLIST' function module. In the example code, focus exclusively on the partners, items, schedule lines and conditions.
    2. Prepare the Data. Execute the 'copying control' manually. This way, you decide which values are to be transferred.
    3. Create the sales document using the 'BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2' function module by transferring the prepared data.
    4. Finally, you must remove a COMMIT WORK so that the sales document can be written into the database.
An example of solution 2 is attached as a text file. You are allowed to select items and quantities for example, if you use input parameters. If there are no entries, then transfer 1:1 from the reference document. When you enter the 'condition type' parameter, you can determine whether conditions are copied or recalculated ('G' for transferring from the preceding document; 'B' or ' ' for re-determining, and 'C' for re-determining with transfer of the manual elements).
    Hope it helps.
    And welcome here on SDN!
    Regards,
    Maxim.

  • Sales order to purchase requisition items

    Hello Experts:
I have a situation in which Sales order is created via IDOC.
Line 10 and Line 30 of Sales order creates a purchase requisition and subsequently
    a purchase order.
What I see in the document flow is following-
    1. Line 10 of Sales order is referenced by Line 10 of PO.
    2. Line 30 of Sales order is referenced by Line 20 of PO.
    3. Line 30 of Sales order is referenced by Line 10 of PO. (This is the issue)
I am not able to figure out why line 30 of
Sales order is referenced again by Line 10 of PO.
    Pls help.
    Thanks,

  • How to keep the same cost in Sales order and return order?

    Hi experts,
When I create a sales order with item cost 100 USD.
Then the cost of item changed and down to 90 USD.
When I do goods return refer to the sales order. How can I keep the same cost (VPRS) 100 USD but not 90 USD?
I made a test the cost in sales order is 100 USD but 90 USD in return sales order.
I want the cost in return sales order is 100 USD.
    How can I do?
    Thanks,
    Lance

    Hi,
Let me tell u my understanding of your requirement, after the sales the cost of the item is changed to some thing low than it was in sales order or invoice, in this scenario you need to transfer the cost of the material as it is in the sale order or invoice (which you are taking as reference to create a Return Order), am i right?
If so, you can proceed like this.
In the copy controls of Billing to Sales orders ( F2 to RE) we have the pricing type N assigned to it ( Transfer pricing components unchanged, New Cost) here the system is reading the change of the cost again from the material master. if you don' t want it to read the material master data again we can have a change try with pricing type 'D'  (Copy Pricing elements unchanged), and try now.
    let me know the result.
hope this will solve your problem.

  • Sales Return Quantity to be adjusted in original sale order

    Dear All,
We have a scenario, where Customer provides fixed quantity PO and we have to supply the items as per the schedule until the PO qty is completed and we have to supply additional quantity in case if there is any Sales return.
Say the customer rejects 10 nos, we inward the item through sales return process. But we require these 10 nos to be reduced in the original sale order schedules, else we do not have track about the customer rejections and have to manually keep track to send the additional sales return quantity.
Please guide how to accomodate the Sales Return Quantity in original sale order.
    Regards,
    Vinoth.

    Dear Vinoth,
You can always create a return delivery without referencing a Sales Order.
Goto the delivery type LR is the standard return delivery type.
You could copy this delivery type and create your own delivery type.
After copying then select the newly created delivery type and click on Details.
Under the order reference , select No preceding documents required  for the order required field.
    Click on save.
Now you can use this Delivery type to create return deliveries by using transaction VL01NO.
Note :- The above solution is provided for your question but is not recommended as Best Practices.

  • Sales Order - Returns change the sales order item delivery status

    Hi All,
we have the following requirement from our users:
after creating a return, the original sales order should have the
delivery item status changed. The system should permit that a new
delivery can be created for sales order item already delivered / billed (a new delivery with the quantity that has being returned) but has a return document,
without increasing the sales order quantity.
Does any body got the same requirement ?
    Thanks in advance,
    Marcus

    Hi Marcus,
After creating return order you have to do the goods receipts. But this doesn't mean that you will be able to create a delivery with the old order itself.
You have to create the order again and ahve to create a new delivery, goods issue and billing.
Another option is as Roberto said that you have to reverse the goods issue thru VL09 and then cancel(delete) your delivery and then you can create a new delivery wr.t to your original sales order.
      Reward points if it helps.

  • Deletion of Returns Sales Order

    Hi Guru's
I have created one return sales order with reference to one invoice and after that with reference to that returns sales order i have created credit invoice.
Now my query is that can i delete the returns sales order?
If yes please let me know the detailed process...
    Regards,
    Bhadra

    Yes, we can cancel-Credit memo.
Check Cancell.billing type field in Cancellation section of your Billing Doc type (tcode VOFA) for your Credit memo.
    Coming on to your requirement.
That means you need to cancel credit memo succeeding to this return order.
In doc flow overview for your return order, check what are the succeeding doc attached to it.
Cancel or reverse all the subsequent doc to the return order.
Use VF02 and in menu bar look of Cancel option and select and process.
Then try to put reasons for rejects (if reference of this return order is needed in future) or delete Return order (if by mistake its created). I would suggest former as you have subsequent Billing doc to it.

  • Returns PO based on Return sales order - schedule line problem

    Hi,
We're designing a return to vendors process as the opposite of a purchasing process through a plant. So normally the process is:
    Customer places order
We buy from the vendor (PO based on sales order)
    Goods arrive at the plant
    We deliver from plant
    The opposite process is:
    Customer wants to return
    We create return delivery
Goods arrive at the plant (GR)
We sent the goods to the vendor (return PO based on sales order)
This all works, but in the second scenario the sales order gets two schedule lines instead of one. So the system confirms based on the planned delivery time instead of just based on the required delivery time. Since this is a returns process, it doesn't make any sense as we're shipping to the vendor at our convenience once the goods arrive.
Any ideas how to resolve this? Schedule line settings have been changed to all different versions. Basically the relevant customizing is:
item category - returns item set
schedule line category - movement type 653, order type NB, item category 0, acct assignment category M
    Many thanks

There are a few other places to check, but you probably have exhausted those areas.  You can turn of the availability check at the item category also especially if it is specifically for the return order.
Sales and Distribution => Basic Functions => Availability Check and Transfer of Requirements => Availability Check => Availability check with ATP Logic => Determine Procedure for each delivery item category
I have also run into issues with APO active and having unintended consequences on the order.  Another avenue to check if there are any customer specific code in a requirements routine or user exit.

  • Free of goods should come automatically back when creates return sales order

    Dear sd experts
I Know one thing that free goods wont come back ,, for ex when we create return sales order free goods wont come bz in VTAF copy requirement 302
it means dont copy free goods
Now i went VOV7--- for item category TANN-- i have maintained billing relevance A it means free goods items will come in to billing
now when i am creating return sales order with reference to billing Free goods are not coming
My doubt is suppose if  my clinte asks free goods   will come automatically when creates returns how to do it ?

    Hi Ali,
I just checked and understand in the below way:
When I Do the PGI system is posting say 50 USD to COGS. But, when I do the Invoice ( 100 USD is credited to sales account and 100 is debited to discount account) So at the end 100 is getting Nullified. But, when we see P&L account you will COGS of 50 USD.
I checked along with my FI consultant and she confirmed that its posting as per expected way only.
Let me know if you need more details here.
    Regards, Sai Krishna.

  • Pro Rata Free Goods in Return Sales Order

    Hi,
I would like to know if the system can automatically propose the Free Goods in the return sales order when created with reference to the billing document.
    The Billing Document has a
    Main Line Item -- 100
    Free Goods    --   10
and when a returns sales order is created with reference to the above billling document, the system displays both the above line items in the returns order and if the customer is returning only 50 the requirement is the system must automatically propose 5 free goods once the mail line item quantity is changed by the user.
    Regards
    PJ.

Kindly let us know how you are giving free goods manually or you are using MATERIAL INCLUSIVE OR EXCLUSIVE
If you are doing it manually then in return order it will not determine it
If you are using MATERIAL INCLUSIVE OR EXCLUSIVE then it should determine automatically
*Free goods - In SAP there are two types Exclusive and Inclusive.*
Exclusive - Buy 100 and get 10 free. This means you have to buy minimum 100 pieces then on that you will get 10 piece absolutely free.
Inclusive - Buy 100 get 10 free. In this case it means you are paying for only 90 item and the other 10 item is absolutely free.
    Configuration:
IMG - Sales & Distribution - Basic Functions - Free Goods - condition technique for free goods -
    1. create the condition table.
    2. maintain access sequence and assign the condition table to the access sequence.
    3. maintain condition type and assign the access sequence to the condition type.
    4. maintain the procedure for free goods and assign the condition type to the free goods procedure.
    5. Activate free goods determination. In this enter sales org., dis channel, division , docu pri pro, cust pri pro and the free goods procedure.
    6. now go to VBN1 - create free goods determination. Select your condition type, key combination and enter. Here you enter sales org, dis channel, customer no., Valid from and Valid to dates. Then you first select whether it is exclusive or inclusive free goods determination. By default it will be inclusive if you click on exclusive it will become exclusive and on top it will display inclusive. Here you enter minimum quantity for free goods and from what order quantity the number of free goods. You can control the delivery also in the second last column(free goods delivery control).
Save the record. Go to VA01 create the sales order , enter the item and the minimum quantity for free goods to be applicable and observe the results.

  • Condition Type to be excluded whil creating Return sales Order from invoice

    Hi Frnds,
    I have the following requirement.
Sales order order is created and its delivered and invoiced too. This sales order has some freight pricing condition types (RCD1, RCD2...)included since its shipped to customer.
When the customer wants to return the goods, there is a return sales order is created with reference to the invoice created above. Now, the RCD1 and RCD2... should not get copied to return sales order.
How do i achieve this? Please let me know any user exit, BAdi or Enhancement spot where i can add code to avoide these condition types from being picked up.
    SAP system is ECC 6.0
    Regards.,
    Karthick C

It can be achieved by implementing a custom requirement routine. If you go to the the transaction VOFM, you will find "requirement" in MENU. You select 'Pricing' on drilling-down it. Following document may help you in creating requirement routine..
    http://saptechsolutions.com/pdf/VOFMCopyRequirementRoutines.pdf
All requirement routines has similar pattern of writing... Your code may look like as follows:
    FORM KOBED_901.
sy-subrc = 4.            "By deault condition is false.
If NOT XKOMK-AUART = 'RE'.                   "RE is returing order type.
sy-subrc = 0.        "This means For other than returning orders all others condition is true.
    endif.
    ENDFORM
Once you activate routine, ask functional consultant to attach this to the Condition RCD1 and RCD2. Then, You'll not get RCD1 and RCD2 for Return sales Order.
Please check and confirm and revert back if you want further details..
