SalesOrder HandWritten property

Good Day
Experts:
I am having a bit of trouble today with the SalesOrder object.  I am creating the SalesOrders no problems passing the DocNum value from my record by setting the HandWritten property to Yes.  However, when I do this the SalesOrder gets created with a status of Open - Printed.  I just want the status to be Open like when I manually add a SalesOrder using the Manual series and typing in a number.
How can I achieve this?
Appreciate the help,
Ed

Hi Ed,
What other properties are you setting? What version are you running?
If I create a new sales order in SBO 2007A (patch 38) and set my own DocNum value then the status of my order is Open and not Open-Printed.
Here's my test code:
try
    SAPbobsCOM.Documents sboOrder = (SAPbobsCOM.Documents)_sboCompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oOrders);
    sboOrder.CardCode = "NZC01006";
    sboOrder.HandWritten = SAPbobsCOM.BoYesNoEnum.tYES;
    sboOrder.DocDate = System.DateTime.Now;
    sboOrder.DocDueDate = System.DateTime.Now;
    sboOrder.DocNum = 1111;
    sboOrder.Lines.SetCurrentLine(0);
    sboOrder.Lines.ItemCode = "0110";
    sboOrder.Lines.Quantity = 1;
    sboOrder.Lines.UnitPrice = 50;
    int iRetVal = sboOrder.Add();
    if(iRetVal != 0)
        _sboApp.SetStatusBarMessage(_sboCompany.GetLastErrorDescription(), SAPbouiCOM.BoMessageTime.bmt_Medium, true);
catch (Exception ex)
    _sboApp.SetStatusBarMessage(ex.Message, SAPbouiCOM.BoMessageTime.bmt_Long, true);
Kind Regards,

  • Manual document number in User-Defined Object

    Hi Experts,
    I have a user-defined object of document type.  I am trying to post a document using the General Service. However, I cannot assign manual document number.  There is no handwritten property available.  Is it possible to assign manual document number in user-defined objects using the DI API?
    Thanks.
    Melvin

    Hi,
    This issue has been resolved.  For the benefit of those who will be encountering this error, it was resolved by manually assigning the Handwrtten field to 'Y'.  Here is the code fragment:
    shipmentHeader.SetProperty("Handwrtten", 'Y')';

  • Manually set invoices document numbers

    Hi all,
    i need to manually set the document number for an A/R invoice. Is it possible to do this when i have the invoices managed with more than one series?
    I'm using the HandWritten property set to tYES, but the sdk help says that i have to use "-1" as series.
    Has anyone did something like this before?
    Thanks in advance.
    Nick

    Nicola,
    Have a look at the Order and Invoice sample code that comes with the SDK at ...
    ..\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One SDK\Samples\COM DI\VB.NET\05.OrderAndInvoice
    As this allows you to use Handwritten document numbers based on the type of document that you choose such as Order or Invoice.

  • User default settings and DI

    Dear all,
    I have created a delivery draft add-on using DI api.  Inside b1, each user account has its own defult for document numbering.  However, when using the add-on to post delivery draft, the document numbering series is not using the user default.  I am wondering if anyone knows how I can set the numbering series to the user default one?
    Regards.

    Hi Alan!
    I don't fully understand you are talking about, but probably HandWritten property is what you are lookin' for:
    -- DI Help snippet --
    <i>In case the value of the HandWritten property is tNO and you add a sales document, SAP Business One automatically assigns the next available number to the document, in accordance with the document numbering system defined during system configuration.
    When saving the document as a draft, this number is stored for the document draft only. So that the number of the draft is still available in the system for other new documents. The system may assign this number to a new document of the same type. When saving the draft as a document, SAP Business One assigns a new available number.
    In case the value of the HandWritten property is tYES, set a value (greater than 0) to the DocNum property and also verify that Printed property is tYES</i>

  • JMS Receiver Adapter to MQ - additional message property error

    Hi,
    I'm trying to add addional message properties to a Receiver JMS message for MQ Server queue. Creating the message in the MQ queue only works when I don't try to
    add additional message properties. As soon as I try to add additional message properties the XI-Monitor says it's OK but there is no message in the queue.
    Our system constellation is a bit odd cause we implemented the JMS/MQ classes of release 5.3 in XI/J2EE.
    Our actual used MQ Server is on release 5.1 due to compatibilty reasons of other productive software.
    Is there a need to use a MQ server of release 5.3 ?
    Has anybody a step by step description for implementing a JMS receiver Adapter for MQ with with additional message property (f.ex. mesType = salesOrder) in the MQ header?
    Thanx a lot in advance
    Hans

    Hi,
    You also might want to look at sap note 856346...for this ..
    2.6) I am connecting to a JMS provider using JNDI mode. How do I add pass an extra name,value property pair while setting up the JNDI initial context?
    Answer: Assuming that your property value is a string, please add the following name, value pair in "JMS Additional properties" table of your channel configuration:
    JNDI.InitialContext.property.X=java.lang.String propertyName, java.lang.String propertyValue
    where X is a number, the LHS part needs to be put in the name column and the RHS part in the value column of the table respectively.

    Reason and Prerequisites
    This note clarifies the frequently asked questions on the XI/PI JMS adapter for released 3.0, 7.0 and 7.1 in the form of an FAQ. References to external information is provided at the end.
    Solution
    1. Documentation
    1.1) Where do I find the JMS adapter documentation?
    Answer: In the SAP online help. Go to http://help.sap.com and select  SAP Netweaver-> SAP Netweaver 7.1 or SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s) or SAP Netweaver 2004. This opens up SAP Library topic page for that release.
    For releases 3.0 and 7.0:
    Select SAP Netweaver Library -> SAP Netweaver by Key capability-> Process Integration by Key Capability -> SAP Netweaver Exchange Infrastructure -> Runtime -> Connectivity -> Adapters -> JMS Adapter.
    For releases 7.1:
    Select SAP Netweaver Process Integration 7.1 -> SAP Netweaver Process Integration Library -> Function Oriented View > Advanced Adapter Engine.
    In the topic page click on the JMS Adapter link.
    Alternatively, you may simply enter the search string "JMS adapter" and navigate to the documentation page directly from the relevant search results. This is much faster.
    1.2) Which JMS providers are supported?
    Answer: The JMS Adapter supports JMS 1.02b and 1.1. JMS providers that also claim to be compatible with JMS 1.02b or 1.1 can be accessed using the JMS Adapter.
    Furthermore, SAP makes no assertions as to whether a particular JMS provider is tested or can be recommended, because SAP has not set up a certification or testing process.
    2. Functions and architecture
    2.1) Does the JMS Adapter support JMS topics (publish&subscribe)?
    Answer: No. Currently the JMS Adapter works with JMS queues because 100% Exactly Once (In Order) service quality can only be guaranteed with  JMS queues. However, this capability might be planned for introduction at a future release. (no planned time estimate)
    2.2) I have JMS message properties that are of significant. How do I get this data into XI? How do I get this data out of XI?
    Answer:
    A feature generically referred to as XI adapter-specific message properties was introduced in the adapter framework. This allowed additional adapter information to be attached to a XI message which can be used the routing, mapping and BPE. The message properties of different adapters are differentiated by namespaces.
    If you are on XI 3.0 support pack 18 onwards, the JMS adapter allows you to copy JMS message properties into these XI adapter specific message properties (at the sender JMS channel), and to copy the values of XI adapter specific message properties back into JMS message properties (at the receiver JMS channel).
    The JMS adapter currently supports upto 10 JMS message properties to be copied into the XI message properties with the name DCJMSMessageProperty0 to DCJMSMessageProperty9. The configuration details of how to achieve this are explained in the sub-topic pages of the JMS adapter documentation. (See sub topics: "Configuring the Sender JMS adapter", "Configuring the Receiver JMS adapter")
    JMS Message properties can have values belonging to types: boolean, byte, short, int, long, float, double, and String (defined in the specification). These are all normalized to strings when converted to the their respective XI message properties at the sender JMS channel.
    However, in the receiver JMS channel configuration, you can enter specific JMS message property types, such that these normalized XI message properties may be coerced back into their original types (or any compatible JMS message property type) when translating a XI message into a JMS message.
    Transfer of custom JMS Message properties from/to XI adapters-specific message attributes is only supported for JMS compliant messages, i.e. this feature will not work for Websphere MQ in legacy mode.
    Deprecated Information on this feature
    Between support pack 14 to support pack 18, the JMS adapter allowed the allowed you append only up to two JMS string properties to the XI message in the sender channel, which could then be analyzed in XI routing, mapping and BPE. In the JMS receiver channel, the XI adapter-specific message attributes could be read, and up to two JMS string properties could be set. The names of the (now deprecated) XI message properties were DCJMSStringProperty1 and DCJMSStringProperty2.

  • Javascript  - is there something like an "active row count" property??

    Lets say I have a tabular form. Every time I use the form, the # of rows returned by the query will vary. Maybe first time I go to the page, the select statement returns only 5 rows, but the next day it returns 25 rows.
    Is there some type of system variable to stores the # of rows visible on the page at a given time within this tabular form?
    I realize that if I have an tabular form item with an id of f03 for example, then on each row it will be referenced as f03_0001, then f03_0002 on the next row and then f03_0003 on the next row etc...
    In pseudocode, here is what I want to do:
    For i = 1 to ACTIVE_ROW_COUNT (assuming this is the # of rows in the HTML table)
    perform some operation on 'f03_000' + ACTIVE_ROW_COUNT
    Do you see what I'm after? I checked the APEX api, but I couldn't find such a property. It seems like you can't do much if you can't figure out this current index # or the max on the page.
    Also, I tried playing around with the "this" keyword in hopes of finding a pointer to the "current item" that would have triggered the onchange event, but no luck either.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi:
    Within javascript you can reference the columns of the tabular form as
    <script>
    col1 = document.forms0.f01;  // the first updateable column of your report
    alert (col1.length) ;   //  number of rows
    </script>varad

  • Retrieving ALL values from a single restricted user property

    How can I retrieve ALL values of a single restricted user property from within
    a .jpf file?
    I want to display a dropdown list within a form in a JSP which should contain
    all the locations listed in the property 'locations'. I ever get just the default
    value when I access the property via
    ProfileWrapper pw = userprofile.getProfileForUser(user);
    Object prop = pw.getProperty("ClockSetup", "Locations");

    Well, the code you've got will retrieve the single value of the property
    for the current user. You're getting the default value because the
    current user doesn't have Locations property set, so the ProfileWrapper
    returns the default value from the property set.
    I assume you want to get the list of available values that you entered
    into the .usr file in Workshop. If so, I've attached a
    SetColorController.jpf, index.jsp, and GeneralInfo.usr (put in
    META-INF/data/userprofiles) I wrote for an example that does just this.
    It uses the PropertySetManagerControl to retrieve the restricted values
    for a property, and the jsp uses data-binding to create a list from that
    pageflow method.
    For a just-jsps solution, you can also use the
    <ps:getRestrictedPropertyValues/> tag. I've attached a setcolor-tags.jsp
    that does the same thing.

    how can i get the all values from the Property file to Hashtable?

    how can i get the all keys & values from the pro.PROPERTIES to hashtable
    plz help guys..............

    The Properties class is already a subclass of Hashtable. So if you have a Properties object, you already have a Hashtable. So all you need to do is the first part of that:Properties props = new Properties();
    InputStream is = new FileInputStream("tivoli.properties");
    props.load(is);

  • How to use property of dimension to filter the 2nd dimension in Allocation?

    Hi experts,
    How do we use a property of one dimension to filter out the members of another dimension in allocation script engine?
    eg of two dimensions
    1.)Entity dimension - (entity dimension)

                       Boutique
                       Kiosk
                       Branch
                       Concession
                       Franchise
                       Nochannel
    in allocation code

    *factor
    *dim entity                          what=Nonstore;                where=bas(Stores)
    *dim businesschannel        what=nochannel;             where= ? ;
    *endallocation
    The thing is that when the engine selected store 2 for entity it should select kiosk as its businesschannel.
    Please advise.
    Thanks as always,
    yajepe

    Hi,
    In this case, I believe, you should have the allocation within a for loop. But you should note that the performance might reduce.
    *FOR %VAR% = BAS(STORES)
       *RUNALLOCATION
       *FACTOR
       *DIM ENTITY WHAT = NONSTORE; WHERE = %VAR%
       *DIM BUSINESSCHANNEL WHAT = NOCHANNEL; WHERE = %VAR%.CHANNELTYPE
       *ENDALLOCATION
    *NEXT
    Hope this helps.

    Any Help you can give would be greatly appreciated, what I need to do is cycle through code01, code02....code15
    and use the string to do it, but use a counter integer to create the string, ie..'code0' + i and then use the sting to access
    on of the member properties in the been...(Code01, Code02) ertc.
    If I simply do a
    <jsp:getProperty name='Input property='code02'/>
    everything works great.
    when I try to replace the property='code02' with a variable, so that I can run through a loop, I run into the problems
    Any ideas would be of great help as I am pounding my head against the brick wall

    Expressions aren't allowed in the getProperty tag:

  • WDA error in changing read only property of fields at runtime

    Hello Friends,
    I am creating a custom Web Dynpro ABAP Application for FI module in ECC 6.0
    I need to make a set of fields uneditable/grayed out based on a value in a dropdown list. If the user chooses the other value (out of the 2 values provided) in the dropdown list, the set of fields need to made editable.
    I created a context attribute of type WDY_BOOLEAN and bound this attribute to the "readOnly" property of the aforementioned fields. When defining context binding, I chose the option "Bind Directly to the Selected Attribute".
    I have written the following code in the OnSelect event handler method for the dropdown:
    I read the value in the dropdown which is stored in the variable "lv_payment_instrument". Based on this value, I am changing the value of the context attribute:
    if lv_payment_instrument = 'X'.
      DATA lo_nd_check_fields1 TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_node.
      DATA lo_el_check_fields1 TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_element.
      DATA ls_check_fields1 TYPE wd_this->Element_check_fields.
      DATA lv_editable1 TYPE wd_this->Element_check_fields-editable.
    navigate from <CONTEXT> to <CHECK_FIELDS> via lead selection
      lo_nd_check_fields1 = wd_context->get_child_node( name = wd_this->wdctx_check_fields ).
    @TODO handle non existant child
    IF lo_nd_check_fields IS INITIAL.
    ENDIF.
    get element via lead selection
      lo_el_check_fields1 = lo_nd_check_fields1->get_element( ).
    @TODO handle not set lead selection
      IF lo_el_check_fields1 IS INITIAL.
      ENDIF.
    @TODO fill attribute
    lv_editable = 1.
    set single attribute
      lo_el_check_fields1->set_attribute(
        name =  `EDITABLE`
        value = 'ABAP_FALSE' ).
    elseif lv_payment_instrument = 'Q'.
      DATA lo_nd_check_fields TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_node.
        DATA lo_el_check_fields TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_element.
        DATA ls_check_fields TYPE wd_this->Element_check_fields.
        DATA lv_editable TYPE wd_this->Element_check_fields-editable.
    *navigate from <CONTEXT> to <CHECK_FIELDS> via lead selection
        lo_nd_check_fields = wd_context->get_child_node( name = wd_this->wdctx_check_fields ).
    *@TODO handle non existant child
       IF lo_nd_check_fields IS INITIAL.
       ENDIF.
    *get element via lead selection
        lo_el_check_fields = lo_nd_check_fields->get_element( ).
    *@TODO handle not set lead selection
        IF lo_el_check_fields IS INITIAL.
        ENDIF.
    *@TODO fill attribute
       lv_editable = 1.
    *set single attribute
        lo_el_check_fields->set_attribute(
          name =  `EDITABLE`
          value =  'ABAP_TRUE' ).
    endif.
    When the user chooses either of the 2 values in the dropdown, the set of fields are made uneditable. I am unable to make them editable again.
    I would greatly appreciate your inputs/thoughts on how to rectify this error.
    Regards,
    Arun.

    Hi,
    Create one attribute of type WDY_BOOLEAN , i think u already done.
    First get selected dropdown value into one variable.
    For example  :
    lo_el_segment1 = WDEVENT->GET_CONTEXT_ELEMENT( 'CONTEXT_ELEMENT' ).
    get all declared attributes
    lo_el_segment1->get_static_attributes(
    IMPORTING
    static_attributes = ls_segment1 ).
    now ls_segment1 has selected drop down value.
    DATA : lv_dropdown type string .
    lv_dropdown = ls_segment1-segment.
    If lv_dropdown = 'X'.
    set single attribute
    lo_el_check_fields1->set_attribute(
    name = `EDITABLE`
    value = ABAP_FALSE ). // No Quotes, ABAP_TRUE or false not works use 1 0r 2 or ' ' 'X' .
    elseif lv_dropdown = 'Q'.
    set single attribute
    lo_el_check_fields1->set_attribute(
    name = `EDITABLE`
    value = ABAP_FALSE ).
    else.
    set single attribute
    lo_el_check_fields1->set_attribute(
    name = `EDITABLE`
    value = ABAP_TRUE ).
    Hope it solves..
    cheers,
    Kris.

  • Not able to Retrieve Transaction Data based on the property of master data

    Hi,
    I am trying to retrieve transaction data based on property of Master Data for ACCOUNT (property  ACCTYPE = ‘EXP’)
    in BPC 10 version for netweaver.
    Transaction data is present at backend, But I am not getting data in Internal table after running RSDRI Query.
    I am using this code.
    DATA: lt_sel TYPE uj0_t_sel,
    ls_sel TYPE uj0_s_sel.
    ls_sel-dimension = 'ACCOUNT'.
    ls_sel-attribute = 'ACCTYPE'.
    ls_sel-sign = 'I'.
    ls_sel-option = 'EQ'.
    ls_sel-low = 'EXP'.
    APPEND ls_sel TO lt_sel.
    lo_query = cl_ujo_query_factory=>get_query_adapter(
    i_appset_id = lv_environment_id
    i_appl_id = lv_application_id ).
    lo_query->run_rsdri_query(
    EXPORTING
    it_dim_name = lt_dim_list " BPC: Dimension List
    it_range = lt_sel" BPC: Selection condition
    if_check_security = ABAP_FALSE " BPC: Generic indicator
        IMPORTING
    et_data = <lt_query_result>
        et_message = lt_message
    Data is coming if i use ID of ACCOUNT directly, for e.g.
    ls_sel-dimension = 'ACCOUNT'.
    ls_sel-attribute = 'ID'.
    ls_sel-sign = 'I'.
    ls_sel-option = 'EQ'.
    ls_sel-low = 'PL110.
    APPEND ls_sel TO lt_sel.
    so in this case data is coming , but it is not coming for property.
    So Please can you help me on this.
    Thanks,
    Rishi

    Hi Rishi,
    There are 2 steps you need to do,.
    1. read all the master data with the property you required into a internal table.  in your case use ACCTYPE' = EXP
    2. read transaction data with the masterdata you just selected.
    Then you will get all your results.

  • "Can Grow" property on Cross-Tab object can not be unlock

    I am using Crystal Reports XI.  My report uses a Cross-Tab object via SQL server.  I am having problem making my data column (Field Row) to increase dynamically in height when my data size increases.  Since the "Can Grow" property in the Format Editor is locked, it would not let me set the "Can Grow" to true to enable this function.  How do I unlock the "Can Grow" function so I can set it to true?

    The only other option I can think of would be to build a virtual cross tab, but in many cases, especially when the number of 'column' values is dynamic, this is not possible.
