Same 8 updates after OS X Reboot

Hi there,
I am using OS X Mavericks and everything seems to be working great. I only have one thing that bugs me and it's when I restart my Mac I get the same 8 updates on Creative Cloud. Even after running the update, shutting down the Computer when I'm done and boot-up the next I still get the same 8 updates. What you could be the cause of this?

Please navigate to:
~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdater/1.0 and rename to 1.0.old
Enable root account:: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1528 and navigate to:
~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdater/1.0 and rename to 1.0.old
Enable user Library: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/access-hidden-user-library-files.html.
Restart your machine and check for update notification.

Do you get an error number? What is the exact message?
Two things to try.
- Sign out of the App Store (in the Store menu)
- Quit the App Store
- In Finder - Go>Go to folder... (or Apple-shift-G)
- Paste in the following "~/Library/Caches/ "
- It will take you to a folder. Delete com.apple.appstore
- Launch the App Store.
If that doesn't work, try an App Store reset and then try again.

Same programs listed with updates after updating

Everytime I update a program from the creative suite the same updates appear in the updates list time after time (the same 4 updates have appeared for the last 10 or so days).
Is there a solution for this?

Can you please launch the software, go to the help menu and select " About <name of the software..>" to check if you have the updated version.

In case you are not aware, Mavericks requires a high speed broadband connection.
In the event you need to restore or repair the starutp disk, OS X Recovery also requires a broadband connection as noted here > About OS X Recovery
You can check your download speed here > Speedtest.net
15Mbps or less, you may not be able to install Mavericks or use OS X Recovery.

OPMN fails in cluster environment after the machie reboots.

Have you ever meet the following problem or have any suggestion for it? Thanks a lot.
There are machine A and B have been setup successfully in a cluster environment, everything is fine.
However, after the machine B reboots, the Oracle BI Server and Presentation Server in machine B could not start.
The error message for Oracle BI Server is:

The error message for presentation server is:
[2011-06-02T18:40:24.000+08:00] [OBIPS] [ERROR:1] [] [saw.sawserver.initializesawserver] [ecid: ] [tid: ] Another instance of Oracle Business Intelligence is trying to upgrade/update/create the catalog located at \\?\UNC\10.91.61.158\BIEEShare\CATALOG\SampleAppLite\root. Retry after it finishes.[
The detail information is:
1)     Machine A and B both run Windows 2008 server 64bit.
2)     Machine A runs Admin Server+BI_Server1(managed server). Machine B is configured with “Scale out an existing installation” option and runs BI_Server2(managed server).
3)     BIEE 11.1.1.3
4)     In EM, the shared location of shared repository has been set to something like \\10.91.61.158\shared\RPD. The catalog path has been set to \\10.91.61.158\BIEEShare\CATALOG\SampleAppLite. Both path could be accessed by machine A and B.
5)     Before machine B reboots, everything is fine. All the servers could be started.
6)     After machine B reboots, the managed server BI_server2 could be started successfully. However, “opmnctl startall” would incur the above error message.

I am using OBIEE 11.1.1.5.0 enterprise software-only install scaleout existing Bi system option on HostMachine2. All services and coreapplication systems are running except coreapplication_obis1, coreapplication_obis2, coreapplication_obips1 and coreapplication_obips2 of bi_server2 on HostMachine2.

Upgrade IE 8 to IE 10 with all updates and only 1 reboot?

We need to update multiple computers from IE 8 to IE 10 with as little disruption as possible.
We could simply approve IE 10 as an update via WSUS or we could do a startup script or login script that automatically installs IE 10. We could even just point users to a link to install IE 10 manually.
The problem with this is that none of these methods install all the IE 10 updates at the same time of IE 10 installation. The users would have to also manually install Windows Updates for IE 10 or wait for automatic updates to install them the next
time the machine checks for updates which would require another reboot that they may not be excpecting.
How can we streamline this? Is there a way to either create an installation file package that slipstreams all the updates as part of the installation or else immediately installs all the updates after the new browser installs?
We mainly do not want the users to have a chance to start opening up other software and documents before the updates are complete and then have to close all these apps and documents again to complete the reboot the IE 10 updates require.

error in completing the update after finishing downloading. I tried to update my iphone 4 after it finished the downloading it says error in connection? I tried it on 4 times on different pc's but problem still the same. Can anyone help me with this? Even i tried to unlock my iphone but all in vain.:(

Update after 2 months breaks my squirrelmail / imap authentication

Ok, updated after 2 months, normally expecting some issues, but nothing this bad.
Squirrelmail is used for remote hosts to access my server mail over internet.
This update broke authdaemon I think.
Here's output of authtest:

ERR: authdaemon: s_connect() failed: No such file or directory
Authentication FAILED: No such file or directory
[root@cyclops log]#
Which is the same output as in my errors.log when a client tries to access imap.
How do I turn verbosity up to get more useful output?
EDIT: SOLVED
Forced REINSTALL of courier-authlib fixed it. WHY WOULD IT DO THAT?
That was part of the update I believe, but why would it bork the install on a basic update?

Same problem here. For whatever reason, courier-impa is starting authdaemond and also stopping authdaemond directly after running the courier-processes in its init-script.
I hacked the script a bit, now it's working properly:
At the top, insert a line
AUTO_AUTHDAEMON="false"
Change the first if-clause to read:

and do the same for the second if-clause containing $AUTO_AUTHDAEMON.
That's it.

SIS- Updating- Open Orders value and quantity not updated after delivery

in the SIS transaction MCTA
when i create the sales order the values in the fields
incoming sales ,sales,credit memo,open orders ,open orders etc
are getting updated correctly
but after creating the delivery,pgi and billing these values are not getting updated .like the reduce in the open order,open oerder qty they same as earlier afer creating sales order.
if i cancel the order then the values are again updated accordingly
can you please suggest me a solution for this problem,why this is happening of not geting updated after doing delivery and pgi

Your query revolve's around LIS reporting. For any reporting, SAP recommended solution is SAP BI
FYI SAP is not going to continue Support for LIS Based reporting.Developement on LIS based reporting is already stopped.
Companies still use this tool to manage their reporting.
Not all the key figures are updated by default. In your case you will have to carry out the enhancement.

A friend bought second hand macbook air mid 2011 with crossed circle on the display and give to me to try to recover the system, I tried recovery from partition and same thing occured, after internet recovery it stays the same-crossed circle after reboot, then we tried to boot from USB with mac os 10.8 on it, it installs something,like it has being finishing installation, rebootes, and now it asks for password for boot option.We have no idea what that password could be.What happened!!!

PO item change is not updated after Delivery completion

PO item change is not updated in the PO at the completion of the delivery.for a particular line item. In our QA system, its updated but client is facing an issue with the production system. Pls check the attached screen which I got from QA. There is no such log in the production system. Kindly help me to have a solution for this.

After we post the GR for a PO line item, PO history is updated (line) and at the same time that particular change log is available under PO line item. But in production system, said log is not updated after GR is completed fully.

I only have 1 apple ID and the same was used to set up this early 2011 macbook pro and iPhoto app. I don't want to loose out on any photos. I tried logging out of app store and back in but no luck. PLEEAASEE HELPP!!!
This problem has been reported by quite a few forum members, who skipped the update to iPhoto 9.5.1 while running Mavericks. In that case try to purchase iPhoto again instead of updating.
After making your backup try the following:
Uninstall iPhoto by deleting it from the applications folder, but do not empty the Trash.
Launch the App Store, click the "Store" menu, and sign in with your AppleID.
Open the main page of the App Store and search for iPhoto.
If iPhoto is listed as "Free", click the "Free" button to buy it with your current AppleID.
If it is not showing as free, there is no help but contacting the App Store Support, as Niel pointed out: http://www.apple.com/support/mac/app-store/contact/

One possibility, is a strange occurence when applying the big 10.5.8 combo, most people have to Repair Permissions twice in a row, then reboot.

You can try a repair (may need to go to Control Panel>Programs & Features). A reinstall is a last resort, but if you go there be sure to uninstall from the control panel, run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html, and remove any part left of the Acrobat folder. Then reboot as the administrator and reinstall. Be sure to disable antivirus during the install.
