Same App Store updates continue to appear even after apps are updated?

Why does the App Store continue to say that apps need to be updated after they have been updated?
iBooks Author, Network Strength, TerraRay,iArt Pro, All have been updated yet every time I open App Store it shows the same Apps need to be updated.
How can I fix this problem? Step by step insturctions would be greatly appreciated. THANKS in advance.

Try deleting the cache associated with the App Store.
Quit the App Store app if it's open.
Go to ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db
Move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Launch the App Store. See if that helped...
~ (Tilde) character represents the Home folder.
For Lion: To find the Home folder in OS X Lion, open the Finder, hold the Option key, and choose Go > Library

Are your Store location and other details set up correctly on the Apple TV. have you tried de/re-authorising your MacBook.

The messages stay on there until you wipe / erase / restore your old phone

• ctrl-click on clip in Project
If it's not that - then my wild Guess is that the iMovie Pref file got corrupted.
• TEST - Easy by creating a new User Account / Log into this / re-try iMovie - if it now works then I would trash the pref. file

the vz messaging app is garbage.Thats probably why no tech support people have replied to your question yet. I had similar issues & decided to disable it. May i suggest you download 'textra' or even hangouts?

Ive read the forums- yet still no answer- so please help (thanks in advance) OK like many before me- Jpegs wont appear in safari after the 10.46 upgrade- yes "display images" is clicked in the preferences- I just did the 10.47 updater- rebooted- still no jpegs in safari- looked in user library/preferences- surprised not to find any "com.apple.safari.plist" pref at all. Is there a way to block popups that appear even after the firefox window is closed?

I use firefox as my principle browser, however, recently popups have started to appear on a regular basis, ''even when the browser is closed.'' Is there some way to stop this such as deleting temporary internet files etc.?
Any help would be appreciated!
P.S. I get the feeling that this isn't a settings issue, but rather was prompted by a website that I have visited.
