Same Apple ID appears on other devices when downloading/updating apps

My Apple ID appears on other family members' devices when they want to update or download apps despite having their own id s. Is there any ways I can sort this? Please help!

Thanks for your fast reply. My daughter has a new phone, bought it yesterday and logged into ITune on PC to sync songs and then wanted to download when noticed that devise asked for my ID so she hasn't downloaded anything yet! How would this change things?

Do two things:
1. In Settings > iTunes & App Stores, turn off automatic downloads for Apps.
2. Assuming you sync using iTunes, turn off the automatic app syncing on the App tab when you have the iPads connected that should not receive the downloads.

Different account appeared when download & update apps.

How come everytime I download new apps it will show Apple account "A" but everytime when I update the apps it will show Apple account "B"?

It's probably happening because you have one or more apps that were purchased with Apple ID B. Apps and their updates are permanently tied to the Apple ID used to purchase them regardless of the settings on your phone in Settings>Store. The only way to stop the prompt for ID B would be to delete the apps purchased with this ID from your phone.

Deleting the icloud backup totally is pretty scary. If my phone accidentally went swimming, I wouldn't be able to restore all the data with icloud. I was trying to find a way to delete only old backups (which you say do not exist), or if I could just delete the photos from the backup. I guess I could delete the icloud backup, switch off the camera roll from backing up, and then do an immediate backup of everything else. What do you think?

What happens when you try to redownload it ? What you can redownload will show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes - does that album show there ? If music shows there but not that album then is it hidden : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919 ?

Yes, you can. In fact it's recommended that you use different IDs for iMessage, FaceTime and iCloud. You can still share the same ID for iTunes without any issues.
You are getting each other's text messages because you're using the same ID for iMessage. To fix this, one of you should go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign in with a different ID. To avoid getting each other's FaceTime calls, do the same thing in Settings>FaceTime.

You can each have your own ID for your own iTunes accounts, but in order for a device to stream via AirPlay to the same Apple TV, everything must use the same homesharing ID. This is not the same as your iTunes account ID (although it can be for one of the devices)

On the device you do not want the auto downloads to be installed on: Settings/iTunes & App Store. Deselect what you do not want to be automatically downloaded.

I would just follow the instructions from this article to give your unused 4s to your spouse. Since you have already started using your 5s, you will still be receiving iMessages on that phone and will have no need to receive them on a device that has been replaced. If restarting everything including your router doesn't help......
Navigate to Settings > Computers > Your Library on the Apple TV, you may be told you will lose all synced content, but you can sync it back afterwards, you won't lose any purchased content that has yet to be transferred. Then select Settings > Computers > Connect To iTunes, note the passcode that appears on screen, click on the device in iTunes and enter the passcode when prompted.

Do you guys use the same computer with itunes on it? And the best way to get them off is to go into the Setting>Itunes & App Store and sign out of her appleid if it's listed there. Also just delete all of the apps from her appleid off your phone.

When downloading an app on my iPad 2, it asks me to verify my account info, and when I type in my password, it does nothing except keep asking for my password. It is not incorrect when I type it in, it just keeps asking for the password.

Go into Settings > Store and make sure your Apple ID information is exactly as it is in your iTunes account on your computer. Make sure your address is exactly the same. For example if your in iTunes on your computer is 1234 Jackson Street, it can't be 1234 Jackson St., on iPad. Make sure your credit card information matches exactly as well.
