Same apps keep needing updating to same version

I keep having the same 4 or 5 apps requiring updates on the Touch. Same version gets updated every single time too. I know these are not new updates, but the same one requiring an install over and over again. It might be a couple days between installs too. What is going on? I'm not not to qipe the TOuch, but I think I might have to do a fresh install.

mine does this too, it's really annoying. I'll click updates and it will say "X" has update for [insert todays date here]. Then after downloading, i'll go back into the app store and it will show up to 12 apps that need updates, except the update is from a date about 2 weeks-2 months ago. I noticed it does this now in itunes as well. Maybe it always has but i just noticed it. Each time you refresh the "Applications" tab, there's a new number of apps that need an update.

Every time I reboot, or after a day or so, apps that I've already updated say they need to be updated again. I swear I've updated the same few apps (After Effects CC, Photoshop CC) more than 10 times, and yet, another day or so goes by and I need to update them again. Any ideas to what might be going on? I looked in my user folder, and there is no Library folder located there in 10.9. On older systems you'd find that located like this: /Users/[my_user_name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe

Apple apps keep needing to be updated

I have updated Keynote, Numbers, Pages and iMovie to the latest versions but after a few days the same Apps show up as needing updated. The versions are the same as I previously updated. What is going on? Is the App Store getting confused because I still have the iWork '09 versions installed?

rebuild the Spotlight Database and so far I have not seen my problem reoccur
Thanks for the tip. It seems that Spotlight is a key player in this update .
Numbers 3.0.1 is in your Applications Folder. Numbers '09 (unless you deleted it) is in a folder called iWorks '09 inside your Applications folder. Both will run at the same time.
This has been the solution in this forum up until now:
"Drag icons of both versions to the Dock. Right click on each in turn and Options > Keep in Dock".

There's been a problem with this all day. Seems to be a server problem - wait a day and try again, or use itunes on the computer to update, that works.

Am I the only fool who clicked on update all when my iPad told me updates were available? Two updates loaded just fine, but the other four never updated and now lie useless and grayed out. Reset time, press and hold both the power and home buttons for 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait 15-20 seconds till your iPad starts on it's own. Check the downloads.

Many people are having this problem for the last couple of days. This is a problem that Apple has to fix. If you look around the forum, you will see many, many discusssions about this and they have been going on for a few days.
According to Fly150 in another discussion, this is a workaround - for the time being.
If you want to update the Apps while waiting for Apple to fix Updates:
1. Go to App Store
2. Select Purchased
3. Select All
4. Scroll down to find the Apps showing update
5. Select update on the Apps
This should update the Apps and get rid of the update count in App Store.

What's new app keep showing "updated"

Hi support team,
Whenever I press the "Refresh " button of Software
Update function, there's always prompt "What's new updated " message even I already uploaded the app.
Tried to clear its cache and force stop and reinstall the app but still the same.

Calendar app iOS7 needs updating

The calendar app in iOS7 is terrible, you need the preview view like in iOS6. See what events you have on in the month ahead (I know in iOS7 you can click the search button but its not the same and not easy to view) Bring back the preview view ASAP apple.
P.S. everything else so far is good.

I just got the "Week Agenda" app now and it seems to be really good. Its free today also

Add-ons Manager Says Java Needs Update, But Latest Version Already Installed

I have Java version SE7 U51 10.51.2.13 installed and working fine. Today I "upgraded" to FF 28.0. Now the Add-Ons Manager says Java is out-of-date, but when I go to the Java website, this is the very latest version available. I downloaded both the 32- and 64-bit versions anyway (though I had already installed them a month ago) and re-installed both. The FF Add-Ons Manager still has same warning: "Vulnerable- Update Now!" The Java Test page says I have the latest version, and it works.
So what the heck to do?

Never mind- found the answer. It's the same old silly runaround between Firefox and Oracle. The Firefox link send you to the wrong Java version (outdated) and you have to find the correct Oracle webpage that now has Java version 8 (actually v.1.8.0 plug in 11.0.2.132) and download and install THAT. It would be nice if this were simpler...

When trying to view Apps that need updates, it says cannot connect to iTunes store..... My wifi is working fine so I'm not sure what the problem is.... Help pls!
