Same batch is reserved with many times during reservation

               I am facing a problem during reservation of material with Batch no.
Suppose
                  A1 is reserving material with batch(0000179) with quantity 300
                  A2 is also reserving the same material with same batch(0000179 ) with same quantity 300
                  my question is as follows with two conditions.
              1) condition-1 material is in stock with 300 quantity only.
                  suppose A1 has reserved material with same batch&same quantity before A2
                  if A2 also trys to reserve same material with same batch&same quantity or differenet quantity after
                  reserving by A1.
                  system should throws error message that material is already reserved first by A1 for the same batch.
             2) condition-2 material is in stock with 600 quantity only.
                 suppose A1 has reserved material with same batch&same quantity before A2
                 if A2 trys to reserve same material with same batch&same quantity
                system should allow to reserve the material to A2 with the same batch&same quantiy.
please guide me to overcome this problem.

I have the exact same problem. When I signed up 2 years ago I had great service in my house, and now I can't make a phone call even from the driveway. How does service degrade so badly? My contract is up in a couple months and I'm probably going to go to T-Mobile because they have WiFi Calling, unless Verizon can fix this. My poor wife works from home and can't even call out anymore.

Sounds stops many times during playback with popping noises

During start or playback of a song, Logic makes many times a popping sound after which the sounds is gone although the song keeps on playing. This also happens when I play on my keyboard while using software instruments. A short moment I hear the software instrument, then a popping sounds and no sound any longer although the midi meter shows that I am playing. What is wrong here?

I have the same problem everyone here is describing.
I bought a Jabra Extreme a few months ago (it supports A2DP) and I found that the audio keeps skipping on my iPhone 4. It skips every 5 seconds or so which rendered listening to music via bluetooth impossible. I figured it was a "compatibility issue" with the Jabra and abandoned its use for music.
A couple of weeks ago, I decided to spring for a pair of JayBird bluetooth headphones. I figured this will help. Regretfully, the problem was back. This points the fault squarely at the iPhone.
I have not tried turning the airplane mode on and off and will definitely give that a try. But I seriously don't think that should be the way a device capable of bluetooth audio streaming should work!
Does anyone from Apple read these discussion threads? Will there be a fix?
Maybe I should stop holding my breath.

Or will I need to reset my content and settings again? This would be my 4 or 5th time to need to do so. If so, is it better I get my iPad with retina display replaced? Not wait for it's value and brand new value to it go low. I got it for an x'mas gift just this January 19 ,2013 from family and if it's better I avail of the free shipping and handling on apple's returns and exchange, then I will do so. Query on batch jobs with overlapping time during execution time

Dear experts,
This post is related to a task in SAP SCM EM module and currently I am working on an archival activity that comprises of two tasks to be done through 2 different programs (scheduled through batch jobs)
Job 1 is created to deactivate particular Event Handler records (changing a status field on the EH record)
Job 2 (archival job) runs daily and writes deactivated EHs to a local file and subsequently deletes this from SAP server.
Archival job takes an average of 30 hrs to complete .
Therefore my query is on how to schedule Job1, as these seem to be dependent and might impact each other in unexpected manner.
Please advise.

Hi Mohan,
You can try as Daniel suggested. Delay Archieving job or can run after deactivating Event Handler records job is finished. Check any parallel processing is available or not.
It can stop your overlapping issue and can increase your performance.

Internally same batch no. assignment to many materials

Dear friends,
I am working with a batch management scenario for my client. They have requirement as mentioned below.
I have mixing operation from which different semi finish products are produced. Each product has different composition. Here are total 70 such products.
Each product is produced in lot size of 40 kg. New batch no. is assigned to each lot.
No. range used is same for all materials. i.e. 0001 to 9999.
I tried with user exit " exit_saplv01z_001". and maintained material dependent no. range. But as no. range is same, system assigns no. serially to all products.
I want ,for example, system should generate batch no. 0001 for product XYZ, batch no. 0001 for product ABC, batch no. 0001 for product PQR and so on.
For further lot production, system should generate next no. i. 0002 for each product and so on.
How to map this in system . Please guide me.

Batch no. is generated at the time of goods receipt of production order for MIXB. I do receipt of 40 kg lot and assign batch no. to it.
I am getting batch no. at this stage using user exit SAPLV01Z_001. But as number range is one for all materials, system assigns no. serially. It is not possible to assign same no. range to all materials in table BNMAT, because overlapping is not allowed for no. range. So, I defined one no. range as 01- 0001 to 9999. and assigned it to each material in table BNMAT.
How to solve this problem?

Help - Focuslost is trigered too many time during jtextfield validation.

I am designing a form containing multiple fields with field validations.
The program supposes bring the focus back to that particular field after the error message is displayed. However; the
error/warning message is displayed infinitely between the two focusLost events of the two Jtextfields when the focus is switched between the two jtextfields. I tried to google it, but there was no success.
Can anyone tell me why?

including a bug report and a work-around by camickr.
Another possible work around is to remove the focuslistener, then re-add it at the end of the focuslistener but via a Swing Timer to delay its re-addition.

Can I upload the same role from R/3 many times?

Whenever there is a change in the R/3 role at PFCG,
we want to upload it into EP and overwrite the role with
the same name.
We dont know if this is the best way?

Yes you are rigth but , as I´ve said before, every user is also a R3 user, due to ESS and MSS, and with the transaction HRUSER we can give them a lot of roles in an automatic way .....
And for example, if you have implemented some BP about PS, MM or wathever R3 funcionality, the real security access and authorizations relay in the R3 side, so the user must to have an R3 role...Why not use the R3 facility to select users , assign them differents roles and upload it?
In minutes you can assign hundreds of users with portal roles in your EP environment....

Why do I continually get the message about "... a script on this page..."?? Happens many, many times during the day, and requires a click on that box to get rid of it... until next time!

I haven't written down the remainder of the message in the dialogue box; I think it continues with "...has stopped running...", or, "... has stopped working...". If I don't choose one of the two buttons, and try to continue whatever it was that I was doing, the the 'preferred' button blinks / flashes until I select one of those two buttons. Only then can I continue with my interrupted task.
This does NOT happen with IE... and never did.

That is a problem with an AVG extension (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)

Same batch selected in two different Deliveries

Dear all
I have a problem in Outbound delivery creation..
I have created 2 different outbound deliveries. While creating & Batch determination of first outbound delivery Batch number X with qty 100 is selected. Then it is saved with out PGI.
when i create the second outbound delivery also the same batch number X with qty 100 is selected. Actually it should not happen. Because i have total stock of Batch no X is only 100.
Please guide me how to solve this issue.

you might have selected bacth but not completed picking thats why system allowed another batch selection with same quantity. pIcking reserves the quantity. Hope this will help you.

Downloading aborted many times

i purchased adobe pro.... trying to download... somewhere towards the middle it says that i have another install happening and that i must finish that one first.... Not sure what install is that or how to finish it... I tried to clean everything up and re-start but i get the same message no matter how many times i try.. please advise?

Does your problem happen during the download, or during the install ?
What is "adobe pro"? There are at least four or five Adobe products that have the term "Pro" in it.
Also, what is your operating system?

Batch locked if some other user using same batch

I am facing the batch lock error which say like this :
Batch XXXX of material XXXX is already locked by userXXX. Message no. M3682
Now practically we have the same batch at different distribution centres at different plants. so even if any 1 person is doing anything on that batch than system gives this error message to other person.
Can you please give me any solution to overcome the same.

Firstly please check if you have activated the batch level as 'Batch unique at material level'. If yes, we have to confirm that the system behavior that you are facing is the standard system design.
Please, consider that when you define the batch at material-level, then,the batch data is not plant-depended. This means that a lock on the batch will have effect on postings in all plants.
However, you might want to consider a modification to this standard behavior, see the following notes:
157423 - Message M3682 for goods movement to the same batch.
633750 - MIGO: Message M3682 with goods movement to same batch.
1422983 - MIGO: Message M3682 during goods movement to same batch

WRT54G loses connection many times an hour

For some reason, I loose connection to the router config and the internet, many times during a normal web surfing session. I noticed it usually happens when I am 'clicking-thru" web pages quickly. The only way to restore normal function is to cycle the power plug. If i remove the router and go back to my old slower router or direct computer to cable modem connection, I have no problems. I am using the Ver 6 of the router and I am at firmware level V 1.01.0.
This happens from either one of my 2 wired computers.
Please help, I can't return the router because I tossed the box in the trash. I have had the unit for about 2 months.
If I can't fix this, I am going to get another router

Use a static IP address instead of DHCP.
Open your Wireless Connection Properties, click on Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), Properties, Use the Following IP Address.
In the fileds below enter:
IP Address: 192.168.1.x where x is any number between 2 and 255.
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1
Then select Use the Following DNS Server Addreses and enter the IP addresses for the Preferred DNS server and the Alternate DNS server.
You get these numbers from the router. Go into the router configuration and click on Status. At the biottom of the screen you will see DNS1 and DNS2. DNS1 is your preferred server, and DNS2 is your alternate server.
After you enter the DNS addresses, click OK, OK. Your computer will then negoitate a session with the router using the address you specified instead of the router deciding which address to use.
