Same caller image for every call

I have an N8 with Symbian Anna. I have attributed an image to one of my contacts, but this image shows every time I recieve a call, regardless of who the caller is. How can I make my phone show the right image?

Sure.
First you make sure the image that you want to link to your contact is on your phone, by either taking a picture of the contact with the camera, or copying it into the Pictures folder on your N8 mass memory.
After this you go to Menu -> Contacts -> open the contact that you want to change the image for -> click on the white image that represents a person -> select "Add image" -> select the image that you want to link to your contact.

Getting Image for every 2 second using AVI stream

Hello,
Could I save image for every 1 or 2 second from AVI stream (not file). It is because I have a piece of software which could capture image on live and could save the image as AVI format. However, I need the file format as JPEG format for every 1 or 2 second.Am I do it like this?

Why don't you get a simple jpeg obtained by ftp from your program? For example I've downloaded a ftp server named webcam32 (http://www.surveyorcorp.com/webcam32) that replaces a jpeg image by ftp every second. After that, it was rather easy to write an applet that displays the updated image. Most probably your program can do that for you.

I keep getting the same preview image for multiple photos

In my iPhoto Library and some of my folders the same preview image is showing for many of my images. When I enlarge or export those images or folders the correct image shows. Any ideas what is messing with the preview?

Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.

My Iphoto library has recently updtaed itself with a same picture icon for every event. I backed up all my photos and deleted all the events in the library. When I imported a fresh batch of pictures the same picture appeared as the key photo. Help

iPhoto is an application and lives in your Applications folder
Your photos are in a database which by default is names iPhoto library and is in your pictures folder
I still have Iphoto on my computer.
Is this the application of the intact non-functioning liPhoto library?
I have copied all the pictures on a USB so I wont loose any data.

Back up your iPhoto library, Depress and hold the option (alt) and command keys and launch iPhoto - rebuild your thumbnails (you may need to do several times)

IPhone displays same thumbnail image for all my videos

Okay so when I check out my videos on my iphone 3GS, regardless of what movie, TV show or music video... it shows the thumbnail of the Batman Dark Knight movie. All the other movies are listed and playcorrectly, but they all show the Batman movie image on the sort screen. I've done a hard reset and erased and put the movies back on the iPhone. This hasn't worked. Has anyone else had this issue? And if so, how did you fix it?

I had a similar problem, but not exactly the same. I downloaded all my photos and videos taken from my iPhone's camera to my PC, sorted them into folders and then synced them using iTunes. After the sync I checked the photos app and all the folder thumbnails were wrong as were the videos (the pictures were fine). I found a suggestion that a reboot might fix this, I rebooted my phone and after it came back up the folder thumbnails were correct, but all the video thumbnails were still wrong.
Anyone know how to fix this? Did you figure out how to fix your issue so I could try the fix on this?

Different background for every Space?

Is there any utility that would let me specify a different background image for every Space?

That seems like a trivial feature, but it may be difficult to implement. The system would have to keep the other desktop images loaded in memory (one per space) so that switching would work seamlessly and immediately, without any delay. That's potentially 16 images. If the Mac had two displays, that's 32. And a Mac can have more displays...
To answer your question, I have not seen any utility to do that.
I think the idea for Spaces it that your desktop does not move or change. It's your open application windows that slide onto an off of your ONE desktop, based on how you have grouped them. Spaces is an extension of Exposé, which does the same type of thing with open windows. I like the way it works now, and I think it would be distracting and a bit jarring if the background also changed as the windows slid into place.

Getting only one spool number for every print out

when i execute my customize program i suppose to get a form in my screen, showing customer statement, when I exicute customer A out put as expected with 5 pages but after that if i exicute customer B which is supposed to be 3 pages but I am getting 8 pages which is including first out put also, its repeating same spool number for every thing and keep on adding every page , please let me know where to see for this ??

How do I stop VCA emails for every incoming phone call

I don't want all these emails cluttering up my inbox. I get an email every time I get an incoming call. Short of uninstalling Call Assistant entirely, how can I stop the email notifications of every single incoming phone call? I have made sure my settings do NOT request email notifications or alerts but it doesn't affect my getting these emails for every phone call that comes in. See example below. I added the header information manually.

I was told by tech support that emails from [email protected] were controlled by Verizon and began getting sent to customers VZ_ID that is not the same as the primary Email account email address, but is the same mailbox. Verizon disabled the "Glitch" and now my VCA and TV Caller ID does not work. I was told the email notification that is entered in the VCA configuration is not the same as the VZ_ID. They stopped the Emails, now I have to bug them to fix what they broke. Don't want to be bothered right now. It is a pain to have something work and then someone breaks it.

I have a production mobile Flex app that uses RemoteObject calls for all data access, and it's working well, except for a new remote call I just added that only fails when running with a release build. The same call works fine when running on the device (iPhone) using debug build. When running with a release build, the result handler is never called (nor is the fault handler called). Viewing the BlazeDS logs in debug mode, the call is received and send back with data. I've narrowed it down to what seems to be a data size issue.
I have targeted one specific data call that returns in the String value a string length of 44kb, which fails in the release build (result or fault handler never called), but the result handler is called as expected in debug build. When I do not populate the String value (in server side Java code) on the object (just set it empty string), the result handler is then called, and the object is returned (release build).
The custom object being returned in the call is a very a simple object, with getters/setters for simple types boolean, int, String, and one org.23c.dom.Document type. This same object type is used on other other RemoteObject calls (different data) and works fine (release and debug builds). I originally was returning as a Document, but, just to make sure this wasn't the problem, changed the value to be returned to a String, just to rule out XML/Dom issues in serialization.
I don't understand 1) why the release build vs. debug build behavior is different for a RemoteObject call, 2) why the calls work in debug build when sending over a somewhat large (but, not unreasonable) amount of data in a String object, but not in release build.
I have't tried to find out exactly where the failure point in size is, but, not sure that's even relevant, since 44kb isn't an unreasonable size to expect.
By turning on the Debug mode in BlazeDS, I can see the object and it's attributes being serialized and everything looks good there. The calls are received and processed appropriately in BlazeDS for both debug and release build testing.
Anyone have an idea on other things to try to debug/resolve this?
Platform testing is BlazeDS 4, Flashbuilder 4.7, Websphere 8 server, iPhone (iOS 7.1.2). Tried using multiple Flex SDK's 4.12 to the latest 4.13, with no change in behavior.

After a week's worth of debugging, I found the issue.
The Java type returned from the call was defined as ArrayList. Changing it to List resolved the problem.
I'm not sure why ArrayList isn't a valid return type, I've been looking at the Adobe docs, and still can't see why this isn't valid. And, why it works in Debug mode and not in Release build is even stranger. Maybe someone can shed some light on the logic here to me.

Beep sound for every minute in call recordings

Hi,
I am using cistera convergence server for call recordings. For every recording, I am observing a beep sound before the recording starts and followed by exactly every 60 seconds. I didn't see any beep in live calls. This is only when I play the recording wav file.
Cistera support guys said there is no problem on their server end and suggesting to check in CCM/IVR.
Can anyone suggest me?

I am not familiar with the recording system you use, but there is something in Call Manager that may be appropriate. This is often configured when you set up CUCM silent-monitoring for CTIOS.
Monitoring Notification Tone
A monitoring notification tone can be configured using the Service Parameter Configuration page in the CCM Administration Interface. There are two entries:
Play Monitoring Notification Tone to Observed Target
When set to true, this option will play the tone to the monitored party (usually an agent).
Play Monitoring Notification Tone to Observed Connected Target
When set to true, this option will play the tone to the party to which the monitored party is talking (usually a customer).
A monitoring notification tone can be configured using the Service Parameter Configuration page in the CCM Administration Interface/ Select Server/ Select Cisco CallManger (active) for Service. Look for "Clusterwide Parameters (Feature - Monitoring"). If these are set to true, set them to false and see what happens. A CM restart may be required.
