I buy Iphone 5 last year in August 2013 and same active this phone for me and make apple id yesterday i reset my phone after that he need my apple id and password but i no have any id and password. Secandly i contact to apple support and i want to talk to him on given number pakistan but this number is not good and saying this number is not in use. And i am also call on 1800-my apple phone number he also saying samething. Plz help me for this regarding.
There is a new security feature in iOS 7 called Activation Lock. Any time
an iPhone with iOs 7 is reset or restored, the AppleID and password that
was used to set it up must be entered. If you do not remember that information
or bought the iPhone secondhand and cannot find the original owner, the iPhone
will be useless.
There is no workaround to Activation Lock.

It is likely that your phone was originally locked to a carrier, and unlocked by hacking it. When you updated it became re-locked to the original carrier. There is no solution that you can get in an Apple-hosted forum.

Log out of the iTunes Store on your device:
Settings>iTunes & App Store...tap your Apple ID, then select "Sign Out"
Reset your device:
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.
After the device has restarted, sign back in to the App Store as above. -
I am trying to get minecraft for my iPod touch. When I put in my apple ID it says that I have to verify that I can buy it. I click ok I pulls up a site ask me for my apple ID and then I put in my security questions. After that it ask me some weird question like Who Is your favorite teacher and another question like what is your least favorite car model. I did not set those as my secure questions. You will need to obtain the original Apple id ,that is the only way to unlock it

I use Hotmail on my iPad. Yesterday I changed my password on the account using my home PC. Now the ipad requests the new password but when I enter it I get Password Incorrct and it asks to enter it again. The sticky part is that no matter what app I bring up including settings, the password request pop up appears and the app cant' be used
I was going to say either that or to remove the email from your email account settings(on ipad) and put it back on. Happens everytime im forced to change my work email password. I need to delete the account and add it again for it to accept the new password.

For information about the Other category in the Storage display, see this support article. If the display seems to be inaccurate, try rebuilding the Spotlight index.
Empty the Trash if you haven't already done so. If you use iPhoto, empty its internal Trash first:
iPhoto ▹ Empty Trash
In Photos:
File ▹ Show Recently Deleted ▹ Delete All
Do the same in other applications, such as Aperture, that have an internal Trash feature. Then restart the computer. That will temporarily free up some space.
According to Apple documentation, you need at least 9 GB of available space on the startup volume (as shown in the Finder Info window) for normal operation—not the mythical 10%, 15%, or any other percentage. You also need enough space left over to allow for growth of the data. There is little or no performance advantage to having more available space than the minimum Apple recommends. Available storage space that you'll never use is wasted space.
When Time Machine backs up a portable Mac, some of the free space will be used to make local snapshots, which are backup copies of recently deleted files. The space occupied by local snapshots is reported as available by the Finder, and should be considered as such. In the Storage display of System Information, local snapshots are shown as Backups. The snapshots are automatically deleted when they expire or when free space falls below a certain level. You ordinarily don't need to, and should not, delete local snapshots yourself. If you followed bad advice to disable local snapshots by running a shell command, you may have ended up with a lot of data in the Other category. Ask for instructions in that case.

You can more effectively use a tool such as OmniDiskSweeper (ODS) or GrandPerspective (GP) to explore the volume and find out what's taking up the space. You can also delete files with it, but don't do that unless you're sure that you know what you're deleting and that all data is safely backed up. That means you have multiple backups, not just one. Note that ODS only works with OS X 10.8 or later. If you're running an older OS version, use GP.
Deleting files inside a photo or iTunes library will corrupt the library. Changes to such a library must be made from within the application that created it. The same goes for Mail files.
Proceed further only if the problem isn't solved by the above steps.
ODS or GP can't see the whole filesystem when you run it just by double-clicking; it only sees files that you have permission to read. To see everything, you have to run it as root.
Back up all data now.
Install the app in the Applications folder as usual. Quit it if it's running.
Triple-click anywhere in the corresponding line of text below on this page to select it, then copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.

Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
Paste into the Terminal window by pressing command-V. You'll be prompted for your login password.
The application window will open behind other open windows. When you scan a volume, the window will eventually show all files in all folders, sorted by size. It may take a few minutes for the app to finish scanning.
I don't recommend that you make a habit of doing this. Don't delete anything as root. If something needs to be deleted, make sure you know what it is and how it got there, and then delete it by other, safer, means. When in doubt, leave it alone or ask for guidance.
When you're done with the app, quit it and also quit Terminal. -

In fact I gave it by a phone call..I did exacly the same thing few years ago. Apple sent me the new charger and an envelope with printed address etc to send back the demaged charger, and suggested me the Company to contact for the dispatch (probably it was UPS not sure). I do not remember exactly how it worked, if I was charged the price and they accreditd it back to my card few days after reeceiving the not working charger....
Anyway I remember always was fast and perfect.
Of course if you feel more confortable not giving your card number you may forget the matter: at the end of the day it is only a small amount to buy a new charger, if you feel more safe I would not cost you much mnoney... -

Is this a 4 or 4s? What is the model number on the back? If its A1431 or A1387, it is a 4s, and does indeed have a sim tray. A1349 or A1332 will indicate an iphone 4.
