Same problem as others, neighbours have infinity c...
Just moved into a brand new house and loosing my rag a little with BT and sky. Basically, the local junction box is fibre and my neighbour has fibre optic (copper cabled to door) but BT are saying i cant have it.
Any suggestions as to who i can speak to as two OR engineers have confirmed my box is fibre but the BT systems are not confirming this?

Photos from my iphone and ipad are going into my photo stream on the devices but aren't going into the folder on my windows PC. They used to but they suddenly stopped. Has anyone else had this same problem?. I have checked all settings and they appear OK

Within redbox I can not click on a movie and get information about it, instead I get an error message that says that the situation may be temporary. yet i keep having the same problem. Do you have any idea how to fix the problem?
Did you delete all receipts with iDVD in the file name with either a .PKG or .BOM extension that reside in the HD/Library/Receipts folder and from the /var/db/receipts/ folder before installing the new copy? If not then do so and delete the new application also.

Help. Photoshop CC14 on Mac 5k (2014) running Yosemite 10.10.1. Photoshop stops responding when I'm opening files, saving files or creating new ones. Is anyone suffering the same problem? Does anyone have an answer?
First, go install the MacOS 10.10 updates - you should be on 10.10.2.
I haven't heard of Photoshop not responding during opens and saves. Does it stop responding while the open/save dialogs are visible, or while Photoshop is actually reading or writing files?
10.10.1 did fix a crash in the open/save dialogs, but 10.10.2 still has some odd issues (mostly program errors coming from the OS code) in the open/save dialogs. -
Same problem as others - updater fails
I am having the same problem as others, the updater fails to update the Extensions Manager. I am not installing it through MacCleaner or any other virus protection. I am just downloading the dmg and trying to get it to install. I get this message.

The possible reason is that some files in Extension Manager package file were changed or removed after installation, or the PCD information was corrupted. The simplest way to solve this issue is to delete Extension Manager CS6 installation folder manually, then download the 6.0.8 full installer from http://www.adobe.com/exchange/em_download/em6_download.html and install it.

Starts with blank tab page.
Clicking on homepage icon brings up default homepage.
At start up there is blank bookmarks toolbar. Bookmarks toolbar is checked. Un-checking same & re--checking brings up correct toolbar.
Cannot go to a link from email if FF has not started. Blank tab page comes up.
FF starts on it's own.Is your Windows 8.1 a home version, Pro version, or Enterprise version? I think the problem might be occurring with all 3, actually.
Based on the "new profile test" it appears to be caused by a setting or other profile-specific data/file/add-on, but I don't think we have tracked down which one it is.
I'm not sure about that last point: "FF starts on its own." What does that mean? Often this can indicate malware on your system that is sending a URL to your default browser, either based on a system event or on a timer.
Do you want to try the new profile test? Since it takes quite a bit of work to move your data and add-ons to the new profile, you might decide it isn't worth pursuing, but here's how you would get started if you want to try it.
To test how Firefox runs "uncustomized" on your system, could you do a two-minute experiment?

How do I delete vertical color stripes on my destop screen. There are 6 of them in pink, red and green. Can't believe I'm having problems with my wonderful iMac!
Unfortunately, they aren't something to be "deleted." Might be a hardware/graphics chip problem. You should run the Hardware Test in Extended. Might have to run it several times to pick up an error.

Apple will only accept cards that have a balance. The balance is so small in my account that it won't accept it as a valid card.

Before you crucify me please read the problem I've outlined below, because it's not the same issue other people are having. I did research the forums for the particular issue I'm having and it's not the same as what's already been posted. Please let me explain.
Here is my machine info.
iMac running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 on 2.5 GHZ Intel core.
Safari Version 5.1.7
I run two instances of Safari. I will have 1 safari browser window open on the left side of my screen with 7 tabs all on pages that require login. I run a second instance of Safari on the right side of my screen with only one tab open logged into 1 web page.
Here's what happens. Ocassionaly when switching the focus from one browser to the other all of my logged in web pages will refresh and I'll be logged out of all my logged in web pages, on both open browsers. There's never a certain amount of time that this happens, I've had it happen 3-4 hours into my work day and I've had it happen 10 minutes into my work day. I've also had this occure when I'm putting the focus from one browser window to the other and then I go to resize the width of the window I just put the focus on.
I'm thinking that there must be some setting or short cut "gesture" built into Safari that I'm triggering to make this happen, however I have looked at all the settings and can't seem to find anything that would cause this.
Any help or advice is apprecaited.BDAqua - I have two Safari windows open - I guess in my semi technical mind that equated to two instances. But your probably right, just one instance of app with two windows open.
About two minutes after I posted my question, I was doing some work in one of my tabbed web pages, as I pressed the submit button to update the record on that page and as the page was refreshing I clicked my mouse on the second open Safari window to put the focus on that window, as soon as I put the focus on the second open browser I got logged out of all my logged in tabs in both windows.
The time it happened was sometime between 14:30 and 14:35
I'm looking at the Sytem Log. IN the filter I typed Safari and nothing came up from today in the log.
Just looking at "All Messages" between the hours of 1430 and 1435 their are no messages about safari, just the following.

At the same time, I often see ccsvchst.exe using 30 to 50% CPU to really slow everything down. I checked this with Norton; and they uninstall/reinstalled Norton - three times. I still see this program with excessive CPU usage sometimes. If I reboot, sometimes it helps. Other times, not.

If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a panic, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report.
I know the report is long, maybe several hundred lines. Please post all of it anyway. -

I am gouing to buy a MAC today and I just want to make sure I will not have these problmes with my I touch. I have only used windows in the past but for other reasons as well as these I am getting an IMAC for home.

Ive never had a problem with a Mac in my life, expcept the time when i blew it up by accident. but thats ok as it was only an ancient G3.
