Same SIM but need to change physical phones

I thought I would ask here before blindly heading down this path.
My wife dropped her first gen IPhone and broke the digitizer glass. A bud just bought the 3G phone and offered his old one. With normal phones you would just pull the SIM from the broken phone and put it in the working one but I suspect the Iphone is no normal phone.
Has anyone attempted to put a subscribed IPhone SIM from one phone into another IPhone? Any guidance would be welcome.

Call the carrier and get a new SIM card. The SIM card is linked to the IMEI of the phone - she can get a new SIM card (free) and put that into the phone, then activate it in iTunes.

Unlimited Data Plan-Need to change my phone but don't want to lose!!

Makes no difference about any tin foil hats, Verizon is using ANY MEANS to force unlimited data users off the unlimited and onto share or metered data. It is a fact. They tried twice with me and I pay full price for my devices.
1) Change your minutes, they want to take away your unlimited.
2) Buy a new device on subsidy, lose your unlimited data.
3) Buy a new device on the Edge program, lose unlimited data.
4) Swap a device on your account, they want to take unlimited away.
5) Add a prepay tablet to your account, they tell you that you lose Unlimited data.
However the instructions are you are prepaying for the tablet use so its billed to your credit or debit card yet not really part of your cell phone plan but they want you to lose unlimited.
In short if you go online or call on the phone or even chat, for any reason in some cases Verizon is removing your unlimited data. And you have to be careful since many here are stating the same as I listed.
They are a business, if they decided not to have unlimited data trust me it will be gone. So leave a little room in that tin foil so the broadcast will get through.
Just for a giggle, many many years ago I bought an unlimited Mobil Gasoline coffee cup. You paid for it once and each time you came to a Mobil station you get a free coffee. I still have the cups (they came in two sizes) yet just try and get that free coffee. The company dropped the promotion. And now you get arrested for theft.

A JPG won't allow you to actually change the text, but you could blank it out & paste over it I suppose.
Photoshop would only allow you to paste over it, not edit the text I think, but that may be your only option since whoever made it may have restricted editing rights.

authorize iTunes on the new machine for your iTunes store account and you're good to go.
make sure you de-authorize iTunes on the old machine before retiring it.

Transcoded sequence but need to change menu item

After I transcoded my PrPro sequence that I imported into Encore, I noticed that i needed to change the poster frames in the menu. I made the change, then built the DVD. DVD reflected the OLD poster frames. Upone examining Encore project panel, I notice that the transcode status is "transcoded" so I don't see a way to "re-transcode" the sequence (even though that would take forever). How do I make a change to the menu and use burn a DVD reflecting new changes AND I'd love to do that without having to retranscode.

I don't think changing a menu should affect a transcoded sequence, so I don't think you should have to re-transcode the sequence (timeline). But if there is the option to 'Revert to Original' when you right-click on the menu, you should do that (I assume that, if menus are transcoded, that's when the thumbnails are created, so reverting to original should clear the transcoded files and allow you to transcode again with the new thumbnails).
So first, make sure you have 'reverted to original' on the menu, then try reverting to original on the timeline as well.
If that hasn't worked, try clearing your media cache - Go to Edit -> Preferences -> Media, and under 'Media Cache Database' press 'Clean'.
If that doesn't work either, you could try deleting the cached and transcoded files for the project manually - from where your Encore project file is located, go into the folder that contains the files for that project and try deleting (or just moving) anything in the Cache or Sources folder (transcodes are in a subfolder in Sources, and it's fairly obvious what everything is because the files mostly have sensible names).

Yes, and in fact it's recommended. You can share the same ID (iTunes account) for purchasing but you should maintain separate IDs for iCloud, iMessage and FaceTime. One of the phones can keep the current account; on the others go to Settings>iCloud and turn all data that is syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off. When prompted choose to keep the data on the iPhone. (If you are syncing iWork documents with iCloud, also open your iWork apps and turn off iCloud syncing and choose to keep the documents on your phone.) After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. (This will only delete the account from this phone, not from iCloud. The phone keeping the existing account will not be effected by this.) Next, set up a new iCloud account on other phones using separate Apple IDs and turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to this new account.
You will then have to go to icloud.com on your computer and sign into each iCloud account separately and manually delete the unwanted merged data (such as deleting the other person's contacts from your account, and vice versa). These changes will be reflected on each phone.
Separating your iCloud accounts will also fix your Find My Friends problem. Just use the new iCloud IDs to identify each device.
To change the IDs on these other devices for iMessage, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign in with a separate ID (such as the new iCloud ID). To change FaceTime, do the same thing in Settings>FaceTime.

Can I recover a forgotten iPhone restrictions passcode?
The purpose of iPhone restrictions is to lock certain functions of the device. They are also referred to as Parental Controls, capable of hiding songs with explicit lyrics, preventing YouTube from running, etc.
Without the four-digit passcode restrictions can't be changed. If you have forgotten your restrictions passcode you must restore your iPhone using iTunes to reset the passcode. When asked, do not restore the iPhone from backup, otherwise the old passcode you don't know will be enabled.
After restoring as a new iPhone the Parental Controls are reset to default and the passcode disabled.

The last time i purchased software on adobe, i was in the US and buying on the US store.
I'm now in Australia and need to buy with an Australian credit card.
I can't find a link to contact customer support to make the change... as apparently they are the only people who can make the change.

Once you have created your adobe ID (and provided the "Country" information), it is not possible for you to change/update that piece of information by yourself.
There are 2 alternatives here:
1. You can create a new Adobe ID (with the correct choice of "Country") and Sign up for Creative Cloud
2. You can contact customer support in your region by visiting the link: http://www.adobe.com/company/contact.html . You can locate the phone numbers of Adobe Customer Care on this page. You can also select the country and language according to your geography from the bottom of this page.
