Same sim card, ok in one iphone5 but need active in another one
I have got two iphone5, one black one white.
Black one's sim card can use in both iphone, white one's sim card only operate in white one, if you insert it
into black one then the iphone switch to need active model.
Both iphone are PAYG, two sim card belongs to 3 and BT. The 3's card is ok in both phone, BT's sim card only work with one.
Please help!
One phone bought from apple store, and one from carphonewarehouse, and both of them are sim free phone.
Insert the BT's sim card in the non-working phone and then the phone shows a message that the phone can not verified by the sim card.

Try to reset Network setting thru (Setting/General/Reset/Reset Network Setting - after clicking on it the phone will ask to reboot)

Calling up customer care did not help me, they do keep us in a loop with the same old answeres that “Our technical team is working on it & WILL GET BACK TO u” leaving us with no solution at the end

I can't make or receive calls in my iPhone 5(just bought second hand and unlocked), but I am able to use 3G network. If I use the same SIM card in other phone it works fine. I have tried network resetting and restore.
I bought this cheap from an unknown persons. I have checked it is not in blacklist. And unlocked by apple.Those are all carrier features, so contact your cell phone provider.

Can I switch back and forth the same sim card between an old iPhone 4 and a new one never used in order to activate the latter? Should I use same Apple Account? Should I activate it via WiFi or iTunes? I am filtering on the MAC no and I cannot read that number from the new iPhone without having it activated??!!
All I want do is to have the new phone activated and then tested!

After using my ip5 with same carrier TURKCELL from Turkey) and sim card ,I upgraded it 7.1.1.
And now I cant activate it . It gives error "The simcard inserted doesnt appear to be supported"
The same sim card runs normally in other iphone5 s but not in my ip5.
I did restore many times . If I check another sim card from same carrier no way again.Most likely the phone had been hacked to unlock it. When you upgraded the new OS undid the hack.

Preordered iPhone 5 for Verizon (through Apple Store) will it come with a SIM card for LTE or do I need one from Verizon? (Noticed their preorder site says it is included)
Sorry, didnt clarify, Verizon's site said it is included but Apple's (where I preordered) did not mention it.

I will be receiving my new Samsung Galaxy s5 that will be on the Verizon Edge plan. It will be arriving with a sim card. Can I just take my current sim card on my current phone and just use it with the s5? or will I have to use the sim card it comes with because I switched to the Edge plan?
You should be able to use the same SIM card; if they are different sizes, you can get an adapter or go ahead and use the SIM card that comes with the phone.

You might want to download something called an undelete utility. These can find files and recover them even after they appear to have been lost. There are some undelete utility programs that are free. Look at tucows.com
Also, it appears that you have POSSIBLY overwritten the actual files, which you moved manually, with I don't know what, which you moved in PSE's folder location view.
Next, in the future ... NEVER (that's: don't even think about it) move your photos in Windows. NEVER. NEVER. Not ever. Not once. This always (that's ALWAYS, as in 100% of the time) causes problems and usually makes things difficult to fix.
Lastly ... make regular backups! I must say this in the forums about seventy bazillion times a month. Make regular backups! Regular depends on how often you take photographs and edit them. Since my photographic activity usually happens on the weekends, I make backups every Sunday night. You may need a different schedule, depending on your activity level. MAKE REGULAR BACKUPS! -

The iPhone does not support importing or transferring contacts stored on a SIM card to the iPhone's address book nor storing contacts on the SIM card activated with AT&T. It is recommended to use the new SIM card included and pre-installed with the iPhone for the AT&T activation.
Are these contacts not available in the Address Book application if you have a Mac or in the Outlook address book if you have a Windows PC and use Outlook as your email client?
If not, you can take this SIM card to an AT&T store and for a small fee or maybe you can talk the store into doing this for free, they will extract the contacts from the SIM card into a format you can use to import the contacts into the Address Book on a Mac or into the Outlook address book on a Windows PC. -

Is the phone locked to a carrier? If it is not locked you should be able to activate it with any SIM and not necessarily an active sim.
USING AN IPHONE AS AN IPOD
Restore your phone as new. Place a SIM card into the phone and connect it your computer with iTunes open and follow the activation assistant to activate the iphone. Once the iphone have been activated remove the SIM card and turn on imessage in settings/messages.
