Same SSID with same Key at multiple facilities
I have 4 881 routers at 4 different buildings. All of them use the SSID Network1 with a key of N3tw0rk1. If a user connects at one facility, he cannot connect at another facility without erasing the wireless connection, then creating a new one with the exact information that was in the original. The 881s are all set up completely the same.
Anyone have any ideas as to why we have to go through this ridiculous process?

For clarification, when you say no connection, do you mean that the wireless client doesn’t associate to the access point or it associates but you can’t pass traffic?
I suspect the issue is going to be with the client and probably related to ARP or DHCP (possibly lease times depending on whether or not the laptop is put to sleep as opposed to shut down), possibly also a setting on the wireless setup on the laptop (on some wireless client software you can define what AP to associate too)
Does turning disabling/re-enabling the radio via the wireless power switch on the laptop fix the problem?
The fact that you’re using different subnets at each site shouldn’t prevent the client associating to the access point component of the router as it’s only a layer 2 device and therefore can only restrict based on MAC address (not IP, the router however can)
Additionally, since rebuilding the client profile to exactly the same detail fixes the problem this would identify that the issue relates to the client not the wireless router.

Problem with Function Key in multiple JTextArea's
Hi all,
I have an unusual problem that I'm hoping someone has run into before. I'm working on a chatroom with multiple JTextArea's. I'm filter incoming keystrokes to run the appropriate method. I want to use function keys to perform various functions. I know it will, theoretically work because my test program worked fine in my test apllet with 1 JTextArea. All the other keyevent's work fine but the eventlistener acts like it doesn't detect any (function) event at all. I'm hoping that someone has run into this before.

But what concerns me is that my debugger doesn't respond to any function key. I can't even debug because the debuger can't see what I'm doing. I've tried listening for function keys in the parent panel but with the same result. This is going to be a bear to solve.

Hi,
We have recently implemented Wifi at out site. we have Cisco 3502 AP's, 2504-WLC and the latest cisco ISE. I understand that in ISE deployment, we cant have a preshared key (password or key) for the SSID as ISE will take over the authentication. is that right?
Current scenario:
1. Laptop with wifi enabled will select the SSID in the list. since we have disabled the broadcast, it will be shown as other network in the list.
2. User will the other network and manually enter the SSID string.
3. Once the SSID matches with the WLC, he/she will be redirected to ISE url where the he/she needs to enter the domain credentials
4. After the credentials are validated, ISE (NAC) agent will be downloaded on the laptop.
5. Posture will begin and check for the compliance.
6. If the laptop is compliant, laptop will be allowed in the network else will be rejected.

How can I create a hashmap() with multiple values for the same key?
I am trying to write an application that will us something like a Map() with multiple values but some have the same key. Is this possible?
i had the same question. just create a List, add all the values u want to it, and then put the List into the map like u would a normal single value. e.g.

list.add(value1);
list.add(value2);
map.put(key, list);

Multiple entries in a Z table with same key fields
Hi
I do have a ZTABLE, with 3 key fields defined earlier. It consists of around 1 lakh records. Later onwards, two of the non keyfields have been made to key fields.
This table is being populated with records at the time of saving a ztransaction.
But some times, the system is updating the same records, some times twice, sometimes thrice, etc. I got to know that all fields (both key fields and non-key fields) of the record are same. That is, records are being updated in to the database table n number of times may be depending of some false logic in the program.
If I tried to enter the same using SM30, it is showing me an error message stating that the record is already existing.

It seems there is some kind of data inconsistency..try to get all the records and then delete the duplicate entries through program....Now once u r done , from now onwards there won't be any duplicate entiers.,also before updating table use filters to avoid the duplication..

I have a Problem with Romming Between SSIDs withing the same WLC but with deferent VLAN . the WLC are providing the HQ and one of the Branches the Wireless services .
Am using all the available 9 SSIDs at the HQ , and am using only 4 of it at the Brnche.
The problem that i have are happening only at the Branch office as i cant room between the SSIDs within Diferent VLANs but i can do it with the one that pointing to the same VLAN. Once the client ( Laptop/Phone ) connected to one of the SSIDs. it imposiible to have him connected to the other ones with Different VLAN. meanwhile, It says its connected to the other SSID but its not getting IP from that pool.

Tx Power Level 4 ..........Well you need to understand the behavior of h-reap or what it's called now, FlexConnect. In this mode, the clients are still remembers on the WLC until the session timer/idle timer expires. So switching between SSID's in h-reap will not be the same when switching when the AP's are in local mode.
Take a look at the client when connected in FlexConnect in the WLC GUI monitor tab. Thus will show you what ssid and vlan the client is on. Now switch to a different ssid and compare this. It's probably the same because the client has not timed out. Now go back to the other ssid and look again. Now on the WLC, remove or delete the client and then switch to the other ssid at the same time. Or switch SSID's and then remove the client. The client will join the new ssid and in the monitor tab, you should see the info.
There is no need to have clients have multiple SSID's unless your testing. Devices should only have one ssid profile configured to eliminate any connectivity issues from the device wanting to switch SSID's.

Two records with same key (Infocube)
Hi,
I was trying to do, in a update rule, an "IF" condition with two key figures.
IF Kf1 > Kf2. result = Kf1 else result = Kf2.
But the data in the source (datamart Infocube to infocube) have tow records with the same characteristics combination (the same keys)and different amount in the keyfigures, then the result of my "if" condition is not the expected because I understood in the infocube only exists one characteristics combination. :S
I was seeing those records in the manage transaction of the infocube.
Some reason for this?

It really shouldn't be an issue - your update rule will make the KF change as desired. Your queries aggregate KFs based characteristic values, not Dim IDs, so you'll get the totals you expect.

You can run the Correct Error option to have it update fact rows to use one of the DimIDs if you want, but unless you have lots of them, I even wouldn't bother.
Here's the description of the test:
<u>Description</u>
This elementary test recognizes whether there are several lines that have different DIMIDs(dimension table key), but have the same SIDs for the selected dimension table for the InfoCube specified. (This can occur by using parallel loading jobs). This has nothing to do with an inconsistency. However, unnecessary storage space is occupied in the database.
<u>Repairs</u>
Since the different DIMIDs with the same SIDs are normally used in the fact tables, they cannot simply be deleted. Therefore, all of the different DIMIDS in the fact tables are replaced by one DIMID that is randomly selected from the equivalent ones. Before a change can be made to the database, the consent of the user is requested.
DIMIDs that have become unnecessary are deleted in the connection. In doing so, not only are the DIMDs deleted that were released in the first part of the repair, but so are all of those that are no longer used in the fact tables (including aggregates). The consent of the user is again requested before this change is made. -

Hi there,
I recently had the following situation, where I changed the source of my CSV file in Power Query.
Once I had reloaded the file, it would then not load into Power Pivot. So I disabled the loading from Power Query into Power Pivot. I then enabled the loading to the Data Model. Which then successfully loaded the data into Power Pivot.
But once I went into Power Pivot, had a look, then saved the Excel file. Once saved I closed the Excel file. I then opened the Excel file again and all the sheets that interact with the Power Pivot data work fine.
But if I go and open Power Pivot I get the following error: Unable to load the tables in the Power Pivot Window – An Item with the Same Key has already been added.

I would assume that the issue is with the synonyms and for some reason, when I disabled the loading of my data into the Power Pivot Model, it did not remove the associations to the actual table and synonyms.
If I renamed the table in Power Pivot it all works fine. So that was my work around. Fortunately I did have a copy of the Excel workbook before I made this change. So I could then go and add back in all the relevant data to my table.
Has anyone had this before and know how to fix it?

Hello everybody, Im facing a problem when trying to run a query
Im getting an error that says: There is already a line with th same key.

Multiple records are present for same key in lookup DSO

I want to populate quantity value from lookup dso in target dso. I have written code to populate it in start and end routine. While populating value in target It is taking first value of quantity. there are two records in lookup and target DSO with same key and different Quantity value. there is not any common key field in lookup and target dso. So that I can not populate correct values in the target DSO.

While executing a report in BEx am faced with the error above. It ocurs when i take a drill down on Purchase order number field ( free charact). I tried by inserting this info-object into rows but still teh same error occurs and the connection with teh server is snapped.
The said field is also an user input field and the variable does not seem to the working as data other than the input values is fetched. There is a dump in ST22 with teh following error analysis-

Does anyone have experience with this issue when connecting to a Linux FTP Web Server running a FTP Site?
"Connection Error - Failure to get file list from server. An entry with the same key already exists."
I cannot access the root directory of the ftp file server using Web Matrix 3. The site is .php based, and
is accessible when connecting with FileZilla or Remote Connecting via FTP with Visual Studio.
All sites have been deleted from Web Matrix, the user Application Data has been cleared and Web Matrix has been reinstalled.

JustinTurns out that the program leaves metadata in your app data folder that is not removed upon uninstallation of the software.
This is incorporated to communicate with a file that uploaded into the ftp directory when publishing pages.
