Sample apps missing from new SDK

Hi Guys,
I just installed the new SDK and is it just me or are the sample apps missing?
Michael

Hi Michael,
Was this problem solved?
I double-checked and the SampleApps folder is there for me when I download the SDK Payload from our Production servers.
It could have been a bad download for you or something. You might want to try again.
I am attaching the sampleapps to this post for you in case the download doesn't work for you.
Please let me know if you need anything else.
Best,
Julien

  • Apps missing from iPhone 5s

There was discussion today regarding a blank screen when accessing the App Store. The App Store seems to be working fine now, but there are some apps missing from my iPhone (ie. Passbook, Netflix, Hangouts, etc.). I have tried powering off and rebooting my phone, but to no avail, the apps are still missing. I have also looked into downloading the apps again from the App Store. The App Store box shows that I can "open" the app from there, but when I tap on that icon, it does nothing. Is this a case where I have to re-sync my phone to iTunes, and hopefully the apps will show up again?

    ok do this next
    reset all settings
    settings-general-reset-reset all settings
    now reconnect to wifi
settings- wifi- click network name- enter password - join
    Peace, Clyde

  • Apps missing from use cellular data list in iphone 6

So I got the new iPhone 6...and half of my apps are missing from the "use cellular data" list...those that are missing won't load when I try to open them...they just flash and shut down.  I've tried turning off wifi...I've tried resetting the phone...nothing works.  What's the point of the phone if you can't use the freaking apps when you aren't connected to wifi??  Anyone else having this problem?? Anyone know how to fix it??

    Hi there Kalypsokel,
You may find the troubleshooting steps in the article below helpful.

  • Apps missing from Library sidebar after 10.1 update

Installed 10.1 yesterday and ever since the apps selection from the library is missing.
I experienced problems installing 10.1 yesterday, would not run via the update selection from within iTunes.
Instead, I manually downloaded and ran each component separately.
That was when I first noticed the problem.
I have completely uninstalled iTunes and all related programs.
    Re-installed iTunes 10.1, no change.
I have reverted to a previous library file, no change.
All the apps still exist in the iTunes/MobileApplication folder.
    Any ideas?

Sorted. In Edit/Preferences, General tab, Sources, the "Apps" checkbox was unselected. Lots of options there now - is this new?
Not sure why it got unselected...

  • Why are some apps missing from 'background app refresh'?

I noticed Runkeeper (current version) is missing from 'background app refresh'. In order to start tracking a run, it has to be enabled in BAF...but it's not there. I've rebooted and reinstalled - no dice. Any advice?

Go to the purchased tab of the app store on your iPad and try downloading them from there. Unless these apps have been updated to only work with a newer iOS version than what you are running, you should be able to download them again.

  • Podcast Missing from New AppleTV...

Anyone else notice that that section is missing from the GUI of the new appleTV? are they really getting rid of Podcasts? I'd be sorry to see that go as i'm an avid user of Podcasts.

Thanks for clearing that up. I was concerned about this, I would say 50% of my usage of my current Apple TV is video podcasts. Interestingly, reviews never talk much about this but I find you have pretty good on demand content via podcasts.

  • Apps missing from iTunes. How to recover?

Suddenly, about 2/3 of my apps are missing from iTunes. Basically anything I bought in the last 16 months or so - the apps I currently actually use! I searched the iTunes folder on my laptop and the apps are not there either. Just very old ones. I tried to re-download purchases that I had already made and I get a warning that I will have to pay for the apps. I'm besides myself frustrated right now. What am I missing in the instructions to re-download something already purchased? I dont want to re-purchase all the apps again. Help!
Is there a way to pull the apps from my phone and put them back into iTunes?
    Any help is appreciated.

I can confirm that right-clicking on the iPhone or iPod and choosing "Transfer Purchases" will successfully download the installed applications back to the iTunes library.
One thing to be aware - if you click on the iPhone and then "Apps", you'll see that "Sync Apps" is UNCHECKED. DO NOT CHECK IT and resync without doing a transfer purchases first or else it will also wipe the apps from your device!

  • Apps missing from itunes file

My iTunes apps file was corrupted, and I restored what I could. But now a lot of the apps are missing from iTunes.
They're on my iPhone 4S, and various other Apple devices, but every time I sync my iPhone, the sync deletes the apps from my phone that it can't find in iTunes. I've re-downloaded them onto my phone, but I can't find a way to re-download them to iTunes. So the next time I sync to add music to my iPhone that I've purchased elsewhere and imported into iTunes, all those apps get deleted again. More hours spent downloading apps back to my iPhone and placing their icons where they belong. Very frustrating. And one old app that is no longer available from iTunes, but one that I use daily, is now only on my old iPod Touch - so I can no longer sync it, without totally losing that app..
This problem first started when I tried to update to iOS 8.3 from 8.2. The update failed for some "unknown reason", and I had to restore my iPhone to the backup made just before that update. The restore dumped all my apps and all my music. When I tried to re-sync my music, it only restored about 1/3 of the songs. So I've had to re-sync again, and again, trying to get all the music back on the iPhone. And every time, it dumps most of my apps.
My questions are: Is there any way to get the old, highly valued app from my iPod Touch back into iTunes on my Windows 7 PC? And is there any way to get the missing apps back in to the iTunes file on my PC from my iPhone?

Follow the instructions here or here.

  • FACE TIME APP MISSING FROM GULF VERSION I PAD 2

I bought an I pad 2 From Abu Dhabi (gulf) and after i realized that the face time application is missing from it.and later on i find out the face time is not available in any gulf country.so my question is if i take this i pad to Australia is it possible to install the face time application on my i pad?if any one could help me out please... thanks.....

FaceTime is disabled in the Middle East. You cannot get it installed. The best thing to do is return it, but i think they might not accept it as return policies only apply when a product is defective. Which your iPad is clearly not.
Still give it a try, Good Luck

  • Camera app missing from iPod

Camera is missing from ipod touch 4G. Finally succumbed and did the Restore, Reset All to Factory Settings, installed OS5 but camera still not there. Also, there 's no Camera in the Restrictions settings. Does someone have an answer for me?

Are you sure you reset the home screen layout?

  • Why are Player 10.1 source libraries missing from LCCS SDK Navigator?

I have downloaded the LCCS SDK Navigator. Player 9 and 10 both have SWC and Source files, but 10.1 only has SWC files. This is further confirmed when navigating to the com.adobe.afcs plug-in folder. When installing the 10.1, I have no choice but to "source attach:" the src folder for Player 10.
This is causing an error. When using Flash Builder 4 to import AFCS componenets (such as <rtc:SimpleChat>), I am recieving a notifications:
1046: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: GroupSpecifier / NetGroup. These error messeges do not appear when using the Player 10 SWC.
I realize that these errors are related to the new p2p features in 10.1. Others have complained about this issue prior to the release of 10.1 and were able to bypass it by using playerglobal.swc, but that shouldn't be needed anymore. I have installed 10.1 on my machine, including in the C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder 4\player\win\ folder that my copy of Flash Developer 4 uses.
I am left with the assumtion that either the Player 10.1 SWC cannot be used yet (until the source files are available) or that I have somehow incorrectly set up Player 10.1 for Flash Builder. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thank you for the advice. I have managed to follow your instructions (add playerglobal.swc 10.1 to the Library Path) and get the messege to disappear, but this leads to another problem in AIR.
I have set up a basic LCCS SDK tutorial app (the one from the AFCS Developer Guide on page 92-93). Running that app with my email address, password and roomURL works fine in a Web version. I repeat, a Flash web version of this app works fine.
However, when using it in a playerglobal.swc-added AIR app, I get the following error:
VerifyError: Error #1014: Class flash.net::GroupSpecifier could not be found.

Since this error is related to GroupSpecifier (but did not occur in the web-version), it seems to be being caused by a conflict between the added playerglobal.swc and afcs.swc. Is it possible I am using conflicting versions or an out-of-date SWC? Or do you think there is another reason for the error in AIR?
Can you also provide me with download links to the newest compatable playerglobal.swc and afcs.swc? Thank you.

  • TA47831 Playlists and apps missing on new computer?

I bought a new laptop and restored my songs, movies, etc. in iTunes via external drive.  It looks like everything is back in my iTunes library.  However, I am missing ALL of my playlists and apps.   I'm afraid when I go to sync the iPhone and iPad that everything will be a huge mess and lots of things will be lost on the device.    What should I do?  Any input would be greatly appreciated!

  • Pages, Keynote and Number apps missing from OS X Yosemite after restoring it to factory defaults

Recently my macbook pro OS X Yosemite experienced some problems, so I decided to reset it to factory defaults. Now, everything works well, except for the fact that built in apps Pages, Keynote and Numbers are missing: what can I do? The App Store says I need to pay for them again, but I clearly remember (and checked again on the apple website) that the apps were built-in and not purchased. Is there anyway I can get them back without paying for them, since I clearly already have?
    Thank you!

If you previously associated them with an Apple ID, log in with it, click on the Purchases tab, and download them from there. This is free.
If not or you don't have access to it, click here and contact Apple.

  • Recovery disc missing from new iMac (late 2012)

My iMac doesn't boot from the recovery partition. If I boot with the option key (alt) it only shows one bootable volume. If I boot with cmd-R it takes longer but still boots from the main volume.
I've run Disk Utility in debug mode and it shows that there is a recovery partition. I've mounted it, and looks as if it has the right stuff on it:
    com.apple.boot.P
    com.apple.recovery.boot
    System
So, what is going on? It looks as if the boot process isn't recognising the recovery disc as a valid boot volume.
    Any idea why?
The machine is fresh out of the box this week and I've not yet migrated my old system, so it's about as standard as you can get.

Thank you Mende, for that useful suggestion!
Unfortunately, looking it up, I find that recovery over the Internet takes several hours.
Also, I've updated my machine from the 10.8.2 it shipped with to 10.8.3 and I still don't ahve a recovery drive.
As I said, I can see that there is a recovery partition and it appears to have a recovery system on it, is there some way that I can make it visible to the boot loader? It looks as if that is all that's missing...
Has Apple said anything about why it has left the recovery drive off the latest iMacs? It seems to me to be an even odder thing to leave out than the Infra Red connection (which is very annoying because I've a very useful and expensive Apple Remote that's quite new and now useless - it doesn't work for my Macbook Pro either). I can understand them leaving the DVD drive out and it wasn't too much hassle to connect an external DVD which works quite well.
