Sample files for various file types

Greetings,
We are migrating documents from a legacy system for use within KM within a repository via the SAP enterprise Portal. I am testing if the SAP Enterprise Portal can handle the documents that the legacy system can handle.
I have been able to obtain 50 different sample files for 50 different file types. For the following file types as seen below, I cannot obtain sample files.
Can you please advise as to where I can get sample files for the following file types?:

What's the utility to assign default apps for various file endings?

A few months ago I found a utility that integrates assigning default apps for various file endings. Made it a lot easier, and more thorough, than picking one of each, opening the GET INFO window, assigning it and clicking "open all like this."
But dang I can't recall the name. It was free or shareware. Seems like I read about it in MacWorld, but I haven't been able to come up with it via key word search. Help?

Inventory count for Various Stock types

What is Inventory count for Various Stock types?
i have to upload data to this.
can anyone explain this and give the tcode for this.

Hi,
While taking up physical inventory you have the option of doing it for different stock types being maintained .Like Quality stock,unrestricted stock ,blocked stock.If you are doing this activity in sessions in MI31 ,you need to check against the stock types which are to be counted.This will include the stock of the items as selected and leave aside the stock types not selected.In MI01 also you can select these stock types which are donated by 1,2,3 & 4 stock type.After creating the document the stock counted is to be entered in MI04 .Than get the difference list in MI20.The difference will be posted in MI07 which will complete the activity and stock will be adjusted after posting tyhe difference.

In Photoshop, you just change the image mode in the Image > Mode menu. Pretty basic stuff. You might want to spend some time reading some manuals to get the most of all the money you're paying.

"Mfr part profile" setup for various material types

Hello All,
I'd like to set a default value of "Mfr part profile" field ("Purchasing" screen in 01 Std industry sequence) different for various material types. Currently I have 2 entries maintained in MaterialsManagement>Purchasing>MaterialMaster>DefineManufacturerPartProfile (one with AMPL management and one without). I'd like to get the first entry set as default for HAWA material type and the 2nd for ROH.

Its not possible in SAP, you can create Z transaction for create material wth dafult values.

Hi Gaurav,
Have you done the configuration in the workstation application for Microsoft Excel formats?
You can even do 'INPLACE' for change mode also. Either way it will work.
And moreover you need to right click on the original and select 'Edit' to make changes.

Not able to create EAR file for WAR file extracted project

Hi Experts,
I am trying to import a WAR file, make changes to the project and create an EAR file for the same. I am not able to remove import
errors despite of adding required jar files to it.
Also, I am not able to create an EAR file for the same.
I have copied the steps here with screen shots. Below are the steps :
Import WAR file in NWDS 7.3 – Enterprise Portal perspective
Select WAR file to create WAR and EAR project for it.
Project created with import errors. e.g – com.sapportals.portal.prt*
Found jar file from Class – target jar file table.
e.g – for Class com.sapportals.portal.prt.resource.IResource needed jar file is tc~epbc~prt~api.jar
Copied required jar files in WEB-INF -> lib folder.
Configure Build path and Add External jars.

I think errors should go now, but they still exist.
Next I right click on WAR project and tried updating related EAR project.
Next, Export EAR file from EAR project.
I have tried both EAR types.
But EAR file is not created.
Please help me in removing the errors.

I feel that you're missing JAR dependencies and hence not able to resolve the above import errors.

SharePoint search using Term-IDs doesn't work as expected for various document types and items

If items or documents are tagged with managed metadata terms from the term store (no social tags, but pre-defined terms), you can find this content later on (after crawler has finished) using the following URL query:
http://myserver/search/Pages/results.aspx?k="85f915a2-bd9e-4c94-a840-4323d37e8df9"
The guid is the term ID (from the term store).
Issue:
That works great for office documents. It seems to be not working for several file types like txt, zip, aspx (inside page libraries) etc. All file types are generally registered with search crawler and are found correctly using the normal search, e.g. for
the term name or other content. It also not works for me with custom lists that are tagged with a term.
Questions:
1. Is using this type of search url a documented and advised feature, to find content that is tagged with terms?
2. How to setup search to find this items and documents consistently with "normal" search AND by term ID?

SharePoint contents tagged with managed metadata Terms can be searched by doing a search on “TermName”, and the search result could be refined by managed metadata. Please ensure your SharePoint site content source was crawled and Managed Metadata
Service Application was running. Personally, using a TermID involved in the URL to search items tagged with metadata isn’t advisable due to difficulties when manipulating a ID number.

Why doesn't Lightroom 4 create xmp files for mov files?

This would be useful for moving files to other applications and databases. As far as I can tell Adobe doesn't share any metadata for .mov files between any of it's CS6 programs either, Bridge, Prelude, Premiere, etc. As a still photographer who is now shooting DSLR video I want to get metadata entered as soon as possible for my still and video files. It would be best to do both stills and video at the same time. Camera Bits Photo Mechanic is the only program I've found so far that does this. Canto Cumulus is able to read Photo Mechanic's xmp files. I don't really need Photo Mechanic in my workflow except for this issue.

I was able to install and (apparently) run just fine by the JMF by

1) using Sun's jdk (instead of the Debian copy I had)

Using JMStudio, I can now watch mp3 and what seems to be MPEG-1 media I downloaded form:

AIT Files for various Xlets

Hello,
I developed an application launcher, and now, I need upload to STB various xlets. I've been using the library xlet_stb_devel for upload the xlets via RS-232, this library, copy in the STB the classes files and upload the AIT file to /xlets. The STB load the AIT from xlets, but in this form, I only can load one application and I need upload two or more, How can I upload many AIT files and make the STB read it?
My STB is a Strong 5510

In the sources I have selected oracle.apps.okc.repository.textsearch.server.RepHeaderSearchExpVO.
For this source I need to specify the Configuration URL.
Here I need to provide the path for configuration XML file. But before that I need to generate the XML Configuration file.
