Sample Panel examples?

Hi guys.
Can you please tell me where are the actual html source of example in Sample HTML Panel are?
I found similar topic http://forums.adobe.com/message/5119030 but the link in comemnts is dead. Since Sample HTML Panel installs from Adobe Exchange now I can't find where the files are.

I too have been looking for the source .zip mentioned in the link and various other links through out the forum like this one as well.

HTML Sample Panel samples

I am trying to download an image and open it inside photoshop.
In the HTML Sample Panel says:
In this sample, "HTML/utils/configurator.js" and "HTML/utils/utilities.jsx" are used. The JavaScript file "utils/configurator.js" provides a function _Configurator.loadImage(), which will invoke _AdobeDownload() to download the image file from the URL onto local disk and then invoke _AdobeInvokeFunctionInScriptFile() to open the downloaded image file in Photoshop.
Where can I find those scripts ( configurator.js and utilities.jsx), I can't find them anywhere.
Is there by any chance acces to the site loaded inside the "HTML Sample Panel" via browser? that would be super helftul.

Weblogic 6.1 Sample Clustering example

Location of old LH samples and examples

Where were samples and examples from the old LH support site moved within the SAP support site ? If so what is the path to get there and are there any special authorziations required ?

I have tried the search you suggested but with no real answers. I also submitted a message to support. The reply:
The samples that were up on the LH support site are still there and you
should be able to access them till the end of the year. Your login
and password are your License # and password is 4 digit Support Agreeme
nt number. This is true unless you changed them.
After the end of the year the Lighthammer site will be gone and we have
been entering how to guides on SAP's SDN site but all the old examples
will not be migrated over.

OBIEE - Documentation or tutorial for the Sample Sales example

HI,
Do we have any documents or tutorials for the sample sales example that comes with the OBIEE installation.
I have completed the Oracle By Example trainings. Now I am exploring the Sample Sales rpd and am finding it difficult to understand the different mappings and their functional implications as well as the steps to create them.
So I was wondering if there are any documents which explains the sample sales example. I am using OBIEE 10g.

The HTML Sample Panel (and PSCS6)

I'm hoping someone from Adobe can take a look at this post.
There are two sample Photoshop Extensions available directly from Configurator 3.1.1 (see the File menu).
One operates properly for me (in 64 bit CS6) - it is shown below:
As is shown there, I tried to simply reproduce the HTML widget which is described in the Panel (I renamed my panel to be Test Panel), exported it as a CS Extension, and it does not function correctly. (It seems to me that it would have been best to have included an actual .gpc format file in the Adobe download here ...)
I also tried to reproduce one of the other example cases included - Open Image from URL. This is shown below:
In this case there should be script files in the HTML/utils folder, but they are not there.
Then there is a second sample Extension which can be downloaded - PSCS6. It can be installed from Extension Manager:
but it does not show up in the Window > Extensions menu:
Any insights or help would be appreciated.

For the first problem, I think you set something wrongly, such as file path or somehting else. I can help you have a look if you send your .gpc file and .asset folder (maybe Test Panel.gpc and Test Panel.asset) to [email protected]
For the second problem, that is because the zxp included in zip archive only supports Photoshop 13 and your Photoshop is updated to 13.0.1 or later. Thare are two methods to use this sample:
1. Goto https://www.adobeexchange.com/ to download the extension "Adobe Exchange" https://www.adobeexchange.com/api/AdobeExchange.zxp
After install this extension, you can open it from Window->Extensions->Adobe Exchange. Then, you can search "Photoshop Features" and install "Photoshop Features" extension within Adobe Exchange.
Adobe Exchange is a new way to discover and install plug-ins, extensions, and other content for Creative Suite products.
2. If your Configurator is updated to Configurator 3.1.1, open the gpc file from uncompressed folder, and export it again as CS Extension to intall the exported extension.

SAP delivered Side Panel example

Hiya,
I've read up about side panels and I'd just like to demonstrate the functionality to our business - hopefully to convince them that NWBC is the way forward for their power users.
I was hoping to use a SAP delivered side panel - would anyone know how/where SAP has a standard example side panel that I could use for demonstration purposes?

Hi,
Webdynpro side panels provide a means to build side panels into webdynpro applications.
NWBC side panels on the other hand are different and allow to include any web page Google Maps etc as side panels to your application.
Both are two different things, make sure to watch out for these.

In a client, you can set up several business areas to which the system

Business Area Account Assignment
    Both revenue accounting in Financial Accounting and value postings for
    goods movements in Inventory Accounting can be represented separately
    for each business area.
    In the following menu options, you define the rules according to which
    the SAP System should determine the business area automatically.
    To do this, you allocate business areas to sales areas according to
    different criteria.
    Note
    A business area is defined in the module FI. You should therefore
    collaborate with the financial accounting department here.
    Default settings
    The standard SAP R/3 System contains three rules for determining a
    business area:
    o   Rule 1: Allocation of business area for each plant and division
    o   Rule 2: Allocation of business area for each sales area

XMPComboBox and XMPDateField probems in File Info Panel

Hi,
I have used Flash Builder 4 with the XMP FileInfo 4.4.2 SDK to build the example Custom File Info Panels.
None of the examples worked using the Flex 3.5 or 4.0 SDKs (blank panels in photoshop).
The example panels build and show in CS4 when I configure Flash Builder to use the Flex 3.0.2 SDK(last stable build of 3.0) .
The panels create and show usable XMP metadata but dropdowns combo boxes don't work and neither does the popup calendar on the date field.
The panel I have to build will require functioning Comboboxes and Popup calendars.
Can you let me know if there is anything I can do to resolve this issue?
I would switch to using CS5 but my company is using over 2000 CS4 licenses.

1. I'm on Windows 7.
2. I installed the precompiled examples like this:
copy \XMP-FileInfo-SDK-4.4.2\samples\panels\BasicControlSamplePanel directory to :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\XMP\Custom File Info Panels\2.0\panels\BasicControlSamplePanel
The ComboBox dropdown and DateField calendar pop-up works fine in the CS4 photoshop fileinfo panel.
Here's the problem:
I also built the panel in Flash Builder 4 by importing this directory
\XMP-FileInfo-SDK-4.4.2\samples\panels-src\BasicControlSamplePanel
I downloaded 3.0.2 Flex SDK , configured FB4 to use it and chose "Use a specific SDK:" 3.0.2 in the Flex Compiler section.
I changed the runnable Flex applications to use src\examples\BasicControlSamplePanel.mxml
I left the rest of the project properties at default.
I ran an Export release build.
I copied the \target directory to :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\XMP\Custom File Info Panels\2.0\panels\BasicControlSamplePanel
I copied the \bin-release\BasicControlSamplePanel.swf file to :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\XMP\Custom File Info Panels\2.0\panels\BasicControlSamplePanel\bin
In this case ComboBox dropdown and DateField calendar pop-up DON'T work in the CS4 photoshop fileinfo panel.
I have built all the other samples similarly in the SDK and their dropdowns and comboboxes don't work either!
I couldn't find a FileInfoFoundation.swf file but I did find a FileInfoFoundation.swc file - where would i get a FileInfoFoundation.swf file?
I wasn't sure what you meant , so I copied FileInfoFoundation.swc to :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\XMP\Custom File Info Panels\2.0\panels\BasicControlSamplePanel\bin
It didn't make a difference!
Is there something I'm missing or something else I need to do?

Open Specific Panel From Remote Page

I checked out what you were talking about and it makes sense.
I used something similar a few months back on some tabbed panels
actually. Didn't think about applying it to Collapsible Panels.
Except that I'm not sure how to translate it over to a
Collapsible Panel.

But the C.P. are not contained inside of a group to make a
complete set. On the Spry Example Page from the link in my above
post they have put the C.P. into a group - to make it function. But
again this only seems to work when the link is on the same page as
the Collapsible Panels.
The panel call after the question mark "?" doesn't work and I
don't know what to swap it with. I also tried to put my C.P. into a
group and hope it would accept the order [for lack of a better
term] of the Panels and that did nothing either.
I am profienct with XHTML and CSS but rather weak in
JavaScript.
So is there anyway you or someone could translate your
"theory" if possible ?

Vertical Sliding Panel Code

I want to create some vertical sliding panels but can't seem
to find the JS and the spry code files anywhere on the Spry site. I
have CS3 but they do not include this as a built in widget. Is
there a place where I can get the code so I can implement this?
Seems easy enough.

FWIW: the sliding panel widget isn't built into DWCS4 either.
The page you linked to has all the code you need, simply view
source and look for the vertical section in the code. If it's
easier, you can also check out the samples within the Spry
Download:

various sliding panel examples to see how the code is constructed.

Configurator 3 Panels Cause Issue in Photoshop CS6 for Windows 8

I've come across an issue in Windows 8 when creating panels with Configurator 3 for Photoshop CS6. I hope there is a solution.
After I create and install any panel from Configurator 3 for Photoshop CS6, working on a Windows 8 machine, the speed of clicking on and selecting layers in the Layers Panel is quite delayed, sometimes to the point of seconds. This definitely is disruptive and impedes smooth workflow entirely. In further detail, when the panel is up and running, and then I click on a layer in the layers panel, or multiple layers, or try to switch between layers, the response is terribly lagging and slow, and layers aren't instantly selected as they were before.
Please note, I'm getting this same issue on two different Windows 8 machines with Photoshop CS6 with any panel I create in Configurator 3. I'm also getting this issue on a panel I didn't create, for example, the HTML Sample Panel from Adobe, downloaded from the Adobe Exchange Panel.
I've also tested creating a panel on a Mac and installing that .zxp file on my Windows machines, but I get the same result. Note, this is NOT happening in CS5 with panels created in Configurator 3 using Windoes 8, and it's not happening on a Mac with CS6, using the same panels. It is also NOT happening on a Windows 7 machine. This appears to be an issue with Windows 8 and CS6 and Configurator 3.
If I close out the extension's panel tab, and then restart Photoshop, everything is back to normal, but as soon as I open the extension again, it's back to delayed interface. And, if I don't fully close the panel and restart, the issue does not go away.
Please let me know if you've come across this and if there is a solution. I hope someone or Adobe can help.

Nick, do you have a virus scanner or malware protection software? I do and I have found that if I exclude Photoshop.exe as a process from being monitored, the problem goes away. My malware protection software has "real-time protection" and "behavior monitoring" and if I configure it to not monitor Photoshop, which uses a bunch of javascript for panels, then the slow-down goes away.
Let me know if that works for you as it did for me!
