Using JNI i am writing sample program i am getting the erro in jni.h

Office 365 installed, can't choose Word 2007 as the default program for docx and doc files

I have a client who just installed Office 365 on his Windows 7 PC. He still has Office 2007 installed. He's struggling with the changes in Word 2013 and wants me to uninstall Office 365. I thought I'd just set the default program association for .docx and
.doc programs to Word 2007 but that doesn't seem possible. I can choose Default Programs, Associate a file type etc., and find the .docx extension. The current default is Word (desktop). I highlight the .docx extension and choose Change Program. The older
version of Word isn't listed so I click Browse and find Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\winword.exe. Click OK, OK, OK, etc, but .docx files still open in Word 2013. The Default Program applet evidently sees all versions of Word as the same and refuses
to change the association. How do I accomplish this ridiculously simple task?

Fixed. Used a great little app from NirSoft called
FileTypesMan. The built-in Windows utilities are getting worse by leaps and bounds.

I can't see the text and video message - Cirrus Sample Program???

Memory leak in OCI Direct Path sample program in threaded mode

I have a slightly (okay, more than slightly) modified version of the sample program cdemodp.c, which uses OCI to do a Direct Path load. Since my eventual aim is to make a C++ module that loads a table from a file as part of a multithreaded program, I made the necessary changes so that cdemodp.c would compile with g++ (v3.3.1, on Solaris 2.8), and I put in the following in place of the OCIInitialize() and OCIEnvCreate() calls (since the docs say those are deprecated):

When I compile and run this version of the program using Purify, I get a 60-byte memory leak inside the OCI code (meaning I can't see the source-code line that is causing the leak). I am pretty sure it's not anything in my code (i.e., me failing to free all handles or something) because when I change the above line so that the mode parameter is OCI_DEFAULT and recompile, there is no memory leak. Since this will be part of a threaded application that is always running, it is critical to make sure there are no leaks.
Purify says that the leaked memory was allocated from:

I am using Oracle 10g (client version 10.1.0).

This sounds very similar to the memory leak I have in Oracle 9i using Pro*C++. Everytime a connect is made memory appears to leak and it only happens in multithreaded mode not default mode. There is a thread about this under the Oracle C++ call interface. Under 9i it appears to leak about 60K per connect rather than 60 bytes.

Finding the User Exit:
Code SE18 is used to Identify the BADI available.
Look for the string 'CL_EXITHANDLER' in the standard program. This is a class which has a method 'GET_INSTANCE' which is used to trigger BADI's from the Standard Program. The interface parameter for this static method 'EXIT_NAME' is used to pass the BADI to the method.
Open Standard Program and do a global search 'CL_EXITHANDLER'.
SE18 > give the BADI name found through above search.
CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA > which has a method SAVE_DATA.
T.Code SE19 is used to Implement BADI.
SE19 > give the implementation name > Give the Definition name as CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA and the Short Text.
User Exit
Exits are basically the hooks whcih SAP has provided to add your own code. There are two types of Exits:
1. Customer exits: Implemented as Function Modules within z includes. Anybody can change it and no access key is required.
2. User Exit: Implemented as subroutines within includes (any include except y or z includes). You need access for the specific include and then you can any subroutine (user exit) within that Include.
BADIs are the enhanced version of user exits where the same logic is implemented via classes and object (OOP)
Enchancement point is the latest once introduces with ECC6.0 . Not very sure about that but you can change it without any access key.

Field Exit
If you are in 4.7 and up follow this
1. Run report RSMODPRF
2. Run on the selection screen
3. In list Field Exit > Create
4. Give your data element
5.System will generate the FM FIELD_EXIT_XXXXX
6. Activate it.
7. Select your field exit and assign to your program and screen
8. Select again .. Field exit > Activate
If you are in version below 4.7
1. CMOD
2. Go to >Text enhancment > Field exit
then follow the same step from 3 onwards as given above.
Menu Exit
Procedure for Creating MENU Exits.
1) To get into Area Menu Maintenance Screen Type SE43 T.Code in Command
Line.
2) In Area Menu Paramenter type 'S000' (S triple Zero)
3) Then Press Change Icon in Application Tool Bar. Then It may ask for
Access Key or it may display "Specify Processing mode" window. If it ask
for the Access Key Check for the availability of OSS Note and apply to open
Standard SAP Menu to include MENU Exits. Otherwise, if it display "Specify
Processing mode" window with Three Push Button. In which select "Change" and
proceed further.
4) Then it will display "Information" window with the following information
"Caution : The Original Language of the structure is German (editing lang. :
English) ". Then press "Enter Key to proceed further.
5) Then you will get into "Edit Area Menu S000".
6) for eg:- Expand Tools Menu.
7) Then Press ABAP Workbench <Icon>.
8) Then you will get into ABAP Workbench Menu Tree.
9) Then Expand Utilities Menu.
10) In the last line you will find one MENU EXIT Provision to include your
own menu. "Node Text Not Found" This text can be change by double Clicking
that. There you can find the T.Code. Here for Eg:- "+DW4".
11) for eg: - Here change the Text to "Sample Menu Exit" and then note down
the T.Code "+DW4".
12) Then Save with Change Request Number and come out of Transaction SE43.
13) Then Goto Transaction SE93.
14) Then type T.Code "+DW4" and press Create.
15) Then proceed further to create transaction called "+DW4".

MBean sample program given in the URL is not working....

Hi, i am a newbie learning about JMX and mBean and its registration.
I am going through the following URL and downloaded jmx_examples.zip given in that page.

But, when i run it from my local system, i am getting the following errors,

I know that, i have to include some jars, but i dont know what are they? please help me find them and also let me know what are the jars that i need to run this sample program?

It looks as if you are trying to use an example for Java 6 with a Java 5 platform. The javax.management.JMX and java.beans.ConstructorProperties classes are new with Java 6.

HR deals with the INFOTYPES which are similar to Tables in General ABAP.
There are different ways of fetching data from these infotypes.
There are different areas in HR LIKE Personal Admn, Orgn Management, Benefits, Time amangement, Event Management, Payroll etc
Infotypes for these areas are different from one another area.
storing of records data in each type of area is different
LDBS like PNP are used in HR programing.
Instead of Select.. we use some ROUTINES and PROVIDE..ENDPROVIDE.. etc
and in the case of Pay roll we use Clusters and we Import and Export them for data fetching.
On the whole Normal ABAP is different from HR abap.
For Personal Admn the Infotypes start with PA0000 to PA1999
Time Related Infotypes start with PA2000 to PA2999.
Orgn related Infotypes start with HRP1000 to HRP1999.
All custom developed infotypes stsrat with PA9000 onwards.
In payroll processing we use Clusters like PCL1,2,3 and 4.
Instead of Select query we use PROVIDE and ENDPROVIDE..
You have to assign a Logical Database in the attributes PNP.
Go through the SAp doc for HR programming and start doing.

Print Preview of Sample Program LP01 not displaying form

Hey,
I have successfully configured ADS in NW2004s ABAP stack.
I ran the FP_PDF_TEST_OO program which checks the ABAP Adobe configuration and displays the version number of Adobe document.
The problem however is when I implement the sample " Part I: Adobe Print Forms" given on the site https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/interactiveforms.
When I run the program and do a Print Preview of the form, with the default printer LP01, I do not see a PDF as mentioned in the sample. The control returns to the start page. Also, the download button on the screen results in a PDF that has 0 bites.
During the debugging, data from the database gets retrieved properly, and the correct function name gets retrieved. Would you guys know what I might be missing.
