SampleCell II Files and EXS 24

Hello,
I'm a long time SampleCell/eMagic's Logic Audio user and a novice to Logic Pro 7.1.1.
I have a huge SC II bank library (about 1200 CDs - some of them commercial but mostly original self produced banks-instruments-samples - consequence of several years working with the same setup) and I'm having some problems importing (or opening) most of it in EXS24. Here is the drill:
a) Some of the the banks and instruments - especially the ones that use extensive multi-layering and matrix routing - doesn't open in the same manner. The samples come in random order - sometimes the same samples repeated in different zones;
b) SC II has extensive matrix routing capabilities. Most of the banks and instruments I produced - as well as some Hans Zimmerman discs I acquired - uses a great lot of it. EXS24 doesn't recognize most of these routing;
c) Sometimes a sample doesn't sound the same way it did on SCII - even when LogicPro is working with the same audio configuration of my old SC cards (44.1 Khz by 16 bits). The Samples sound crispier and a lot dirtier.
Now, my questions:
• Is there any "secret" about importing (or opening) SCII banks and instruments in EXS24? Shouldn't it recognize these banks and instruments right way?
• In case I go insane and feel like re building my entire library from scratch, I know I may use EXS24 editing capabilities. However I couldn't find reference about assigning different zones to different velocity values or to different midi controllers in the Plug Ins Reference Manual. Also - although I know EXS24 is capable of receiving multi-channel data, I couldn't also find any reference on building multi-channel banks or instruments in it.
Could someone give me some light in these matters - at least tell me on which page(s) of the Reference ManualsI could find these infoes?

Hi,
I've imported (years ago) all the SCII discs I had into EXS 24 without any problems. As far as looking stuff up in the manual, you MAY have to have both the Plug-in Reference book plus the EXS24 manual . . . I'm not sure. EXS24 certainly does respond to velocity assignment via group assignment (assigning a "zone" to a group that only responds to certain velocities for example). As to whether a single instance of EXS24 can respond to more than one midi channel, well I've never used it that way and doubt it can be done. Sorry if I've mixed up any of the terms . . . it's been a while since I did this stuff. I do remember that it was a routine procedure and no more difficult or time-consuming than any other conversion process. BTW EXS 24 did recognise all the splits and layers from my original SCII instruments.
