Based on the Apple's plugin for X820 (I guess internally they are quite the same model). No luck with contact pictures sync, though.

Technically, from the phones specifications, it looks as though an iSync Plugin may be feasible, but as yet there is none available.
I'm afraid it's just a case of waiting until either Samsung or a third-party releases a plugin. There's no timescale for this though - it could be days, weeks, months or never...

Syncing to Samsung Tocco Lite; Plugin creator?
Hey guys
My Samsung Tocco Lite (S5230) uses the SyncML profile. Using my VM, I tried syncing via Bluetooth on Windows, and it works fine using Samsungs application.
So, I'm trying to make my own profile with the Developer Tools' "iSync Plug-in Maker". It seems straightforward enough. It will connect to the phone, and the bluetooth logo on the phone kicks in and flashes. But, it stops at that. It just seems to timeout.
Any ideas on things I may need to change? It's using Bluetooth OBEX, RFCOMM Serial and LibWBXML.

There are 1001 things you could change in the iSync Plug-in Maker! Have you consulted its documentation?

You'll need to get some detailed developer documentation on the exact data that the phone uses, the fields, lengths, custom bits, communication protocol, any manufacturer specific data, etc. etc. Every manufacturer and often, phone from the same manufacturer is different.
Once you have all that and have adjusted the plugin to suit, there is a very long laborious process of running the hundreds of automated tests, and then tweaking the settings based on the results, so that it passes all tests.
Then you'll have a working plugin (maybe!). Unless someone else has the phone, and the detailed developer info on that phone, no-one can tell you what needs changing to make it work. -

It's not listed as compatible either on the forums nor in MSI's documentation.. although it's not listed anywhere as uncompatible, either.

I've got a coupld of builds with Nvidia 250gb chipsets that work with Samsung. I have a couple that don't.
It's really dicey with Samsung memory. I would say don't use it. -
Samsung monitor working well only sometimes
I have Mac Mini 2011 with the Samsung SyncMaster T24B350 monitor. Sometimes it works well, but also sometimes I have problems for starting up the machine. The image appears to be stripped and distorted. It fixes sometimes when I restart the machine, but sometimes I must restart it three or four times until it gets functioning well.
I tried all the configurations: the PC cable, the HDMI cable, and the problem continues to appear.Tr resetting the VRAM

How to start, hot to get .prm or .dll or working plugin file from a VS 2008 generated .exp .lib .pdb

I download the SDK, load some sample project (e.g. SDK Exporter) in visual studio 2008 from a Windows 7 64bit workstation. No conversion ask. Build > Build Solution creates several files but none with the .dll or .prm extension. Resulting files are SDK_EXporter.XXX with extensions; .obj, .exp, .lib, .pdb, and 2 files named vc90.idb and vc90.pdb
Im lost, I read several pages of the manual but none explains how to get a valid .prm or .dll file to test on the plugins dir so on premiere
How can advance ¿??

Can not get Samsung 22" LED TV to work with Mac Mini (2009), 'No Signal' message. any suggestions?
I've just purchased a Samsung 5000series 22" LED TV to use with my Mac Mini (2009). I'm connecting using VGA with VGA adapter to MacMini. The TV is reading an error message saying there's no signal. Already tried with a 32" LG and it worked, as well as with a Dell moniter but can't seem to get this Samsung to work... PLEASE HELP!!
That is not totally true. Instead of using an analog VGA connection, try using a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter and HDMI cable with that Samsung Monitor.

Plugin not working for lightroom
I have multiple plugins for my lightroom and the only one that is working is perfect effects. They are all installed correctly, but they just aren't working. Is this issue known? I've contacted the plugin manufacturers and they all confirm it's a lightroom issue, but adobe won't help me.... this is so very frustrating.
Brett, I spent 2.5 hours on the phone with support last week and specifically said that they all stopped working when I changed how I was using my catalogs...... I even gave up control of my computer for the technician to look at everything. So, yeah, I gave that info many times. As soon as I said the word "plugin", they told me they couldn't offer support of any kind. Even when I told them they had always worked fine until I started using multiple catalogs and I felt that the new catalog usage was the issue. Either way, I figured it out. Just wish it hadn't cost me 2 weeks of no working plugins.

Ram related kernel panics on a MBP (ram used to work, hardware errors-)
hello all
i have a 2.2GHZ intel core duo 2007 MBP, which once ran Tiger and is now running 10.6.3
I had the NVDIA graphic card break down associated with such models, and it was replaced thanks to the extended care plan, here in Paris, so the logicboard is new- I also got a (technician installed) new HDD, and snowleopard
I originally had the 2 1Gig ram, but 1st got an extra 2Gb of danelec ram, and finally another 2GB- it ran fine for a couple year or so-
then, a few months back I recently started getting kernel panics, on tiger- I fist thought they were HDD related, got a new drive installed by a technician, switched to snow leopard-
yet they continue, and they're apparently RAM related, yet what is odd is that they can be reproduced with any RAM combination involving 2 sticks- the original apple 1Gb + any of the two GB ram sticks, the 2GB ram sticks together in any slot-- it's all the same, the screen goes grey and i'm told to shut down the computer
with one ram stick it works, this avoids the issue- but not always
i've moved the ram around, checked the slots, reset the PRAM,yet the issue is still there.
now i know that I should be using paired ram, and will do so in the next coming months when I can afford it- yet what has happened to make the make the MBP seemingly refuse two sticks of RAM when it didn't before ? are the two sticks dead ? or is there an issue with the slot ?
I'd also need to know that this is not a logicboard issue if it's possible- the logic board was changed due to the NVDIA bug, so it's a year old or so-
I'm running it on the 2GB danelec as I type, no issue, the samsung ram works as well, and so does the 1GB apple ram, in any slot, yet two slots of ram causes the kernel panic crash- the area near the ram slot also seems to get very hot-
I ran the hardware test yesterday, booting from the tiger dvd, which was difficult (possible drive issue)
finally managed to boot into hardware test mode (must be a superdrive issue)
running an extended test with the 4GB of ram in there
first pass found an error :

looking the errors up online didn't give anything so far, any clue as to what might be wrong here ? the RAM used to work fine (i've been using these two sticks for over two years), the kernel panics started happening on tiger- got a new HD drive a month ago, installed snow leopard, - used disk warrior and disk utilities, reset the PRAM and did the other tests and it continues- wether i'm running the computer from the internal drive or an external firewire drive-
running the hardware test, i also got two error messages, but on some passes only
if i look into the RAM status through about this mac, it says it's ok - what's odd is that the hardware test found errors, but not systematically----- I'd really like to know what the error message mean, can anyone help ?
i'm getting more and more kernel panics, unfortunately i live in France, so things are slightly less simple than they would be in other places customer servicewise- ie it might not be as simple as showing up at the new apple stores with this 2007 machine--
I need a stable machine to work on and really can't afford repairs at the moment
i'm really stuck with this, my finances got sucked into the last HDD upgrade (got it done by an official apple retailer, ICLG here in Paris, cost me 300 euros), and I thought things would be stable for a while since the logic board was changed (free of charge, which was a great relief) less than a year ago due to the nvdia bug- and now here I am with this--

Using Kodak AiO 5500 over Airport Express- works on my Mac, but not on PC
The subject says it all, folks. Just got a new Airport Express 802.11n and hooked up both printers (Samsung ML-1740 and Kodak AiO 5500) with a powered USB hub. Both printers are visible in Airport Utility (and Bonjour Printer Services in Windows).
I'm running OS 10.6.3 on a MacBook Pro, 15" 2.4GHz Core2Duo system. On this system I can use both the Kodak and Samsung, no problem. But then on both of my parents' PCs only the Samsung printer works, although I can see both using Airport Utility and Bonjour Printer Service.
What the heck is going on??

1. Disconnect the Samsung printer, so that just the Kodak printer is connected.
2. Disable the firewall at the Windows machine (the Windows one and all third party)
If that's successfull, you can

IOS 5.0.1 Mail crashes when replying to Samsung Galaxy emails...
I can't answer to emails received from Samsung Galaxy either from my Ipad 2, Iphone 3GS or Iphone 4 running IOS 5.0.1....!
When ever I write a reply and press submit the native IOS mail program crashes and I loose the email.
Is this a silly game Samsung is playing on Apple???I also have a user that has this issue on iPad2 and iPhone. The Mail program will allow the choice of Reply, and creation of the response, but when she clicks Send, the program immediately quits.
The original message remains as received.
This occurs from at least two separate users Samsung tablets working for the same company.
This user has no problem responding to the message (which is in a POP account) on her MBP running Lion.
The MBP. iPad2 and iPhone all share Contacts and calendards, but not Mail, through iCloud.

Mac Mini Alu not work in remote desktop with no monitor connected
I've bought a new mac mini this week (but i have had the same problems with mac mini intel 2010), i use only in remote (no keyboard and no mouse). the problem is: If i have the hdmi connected to my plasma 50 samsung all work OK (also with plasma tv off). If i disconnect the hdmi cable the mac mini don't work correctly, safari and twitter app crash. Any ideas? Anyone have the same problem?
