Samsung - Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 with 8GB Memory - White

Hi, I'd like to buy Samsung tablet 2 7.0. The packages offer the keyboard. Is this keyboard usable in Europe and includes accents (diacritical marks)?
I'm not much into computers and I do not know how it is with USB. You can buy some accessories that I can use mini USB?
Thank you for the advice. Have a nice day

Hello TabletUser,
Yes, you can use Word in Android devices.

Hi, on a new MBPR 13, I transferred pics from my Samsung Tracfone smartphone using AndroidTransferFile app, worked good. My Samsung Galaxy Tab will not transfer with ATF, tried Samsung Kies also no luck, any ideas? Thanks...

Today I downloaded a new version of Kies, 3.1.0.15042_6, and it seemed to work fine.  I was able to backup my Note 3 running Lollipop with no hesitation.  Files transferred to my Mac running Yosemite, OS X 10.10.3, easily.  The download is available at http://www.samsung.com/us/kies/

  • Not finding flash in samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 with android 4.0... where can i find flash player?

hi, i just bought a galaxy tab 2 7.0 with android ice cream but i don't find adobe flash player
    where do i find it?

    Hi,
The list of Adobe certified devices can be found here:
    http://www.adobe.com/devnet-apps/flashruntimes/certified-devices.html
It does not look like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is an officially supported device. Also, on the page above I found the following statement.
"Please note: Flash Player will not be certified for any device OS beyond Android 4.0.x." Ice Cream Sandwich is version 4.1.

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Skype Problem.

Hi there, I recently got this Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 for free with the purchese of my mom and dad's phone. Now I tried to install Skype throught the Google Play Store, it installed and what not, but everytime I launched it, it just wouldn't load after I put my username and password in. It would just simply try to boot itself, then reboot. Any suggestions on how to fix this? or any reason behind it?
Also I've tried many times installing it and using a differet Skype account. Obviously none of these have worked.

Same here... when I first downloaded and tried to run it it did this thing where the skype logo with the blue screen kept loading over and over again in an infinite loop without even giving me a chance to sign in. Then after I reinstalled it, the login screen finally loaded ok but everytime when I try to sign in it accepts my password, but then takes me back to the original login screen, again and again. I really wish they work this bug out ASAP.

  • Sony MDR-1RBT with Samsung Galaxy Tab 2?

I've successfully paired my new Sony MDR-1RBT Bluetooth headphones with my Samsung Galaxy S3 phone.  However, I can't get them to pair with my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 tablet.  Are they compatible?
I held the button for 7 seconds until I heard the sound and the red/blue lights flashed.  The Galaxy Tab was discoverable but never found the headphones.  I tried restarting the tablet, restarting the headphones, etc.
Any suggestions would be appreciated - these headphones were too expensive to not work with all my devices.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I figured this out today - I realized I had to hold the power button long enough to see a red flash and then keep holding until I hear a second tone and a red/blue flashing.  The unit paired right away when I did this.  Thanks!

  • WIN a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 in our Christmas Compet...

It’s competition time! Just in time for Christmas we have two Samsung Galaxy 2 Tablets up for grabs exclusively for our forum members!
There’s two chances to win so here’s how it works:
Between now and 16th December we’re inviting all registered forum members to submit a photo taken this year, or in a Christmas past, that really captures what Christmas means for you. It could be a Christmas family photo, a great present, a winter scene or something else entirely – we only ask that it’s a photo that you have taken, and not one belonging to someone else (or one found on the internet). By entering a photo you agree to having it posted on the Community Forum lounge for the second part of the competition.
To submit your photo please PM it to SeanD or StephanieG by 5pm on 16th Dec, the Moderators will convene and judge the best photo, which will be announced on 19th December – winner will receive a brand new Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.
The second chance to win will be from 19th Dec to 23rd Dec – during this time we’ll post the winning photograph in the Lounge and invite you all to caption it with a festive phrase, the best caption will win the second Samsung Galaxy 2 Tab. Again captions should be submitted to SeanD or StephanieG via PM by 5pm 23rd December and the caption competition will be judged by the Mod team with the winner announced after on 23rd Dec.
Please note that if you win the photo competition you can’t also win the caption comp as well!
Prizes will be sent to the winners after the 23rd December.
Good luck everybody, please get your photos in to Sean and Steph before 16th Dec.
    What are the prizes?
The Winner of the ‘Christmas in a Picture’ photo competition will win a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0 inch screen, Wifi 8GB storage)

    Hi all
I'm really pleased to announce our photo competition winner, congrats to StuartRogerson - one Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 will be on Santa's sleigh with your name on it shortly!
But there's still one Galaxy 2 to be won in part two of the competition - see below for the winning photo from Stuart. We felt this picture best captured the feeling and meaning of Christmas - but what do you think? PM a caption for this photo to StephanieG or SeanD and we'll select the best as the winner, it should be something that captures the spirit of Christmas - it can be funny, seasonal or sentimental. Last day for submitting your captions is 23rd Dec (by 5pm) so get your thinking caps on, we're looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

  • Unable to use FiOS Mobile Remote App on Samsung Galaxy Tab 2

I'm one of the holdout Blackberry customers who Verizon doesn't recognize as wanting apps anymore.  I finally broke down and bought an Android tablet device when I saw the FiOS Mobile Remote App and recognized it as an easy solution for controling my multiple HD STBs in my "Man Cave".  Unfortunately, the app has been completely useless.
The app loads fine.  I'm able to register each HD STB with the app, however doing anything more than the initial set-up for the remote function results in a crash.  Every time I attempt to use it, I get the message "Unfortunately, FiOS Remote has stopped."  I will occassionally see the attempted connection displayed on the corner of my TV screen.
All other functions of the app work, including the DVR function.
I've reported this failure for months, using the handy little report button below the crash message.  No response.
I've commented on this topic in threads from other users with the same problem.  No response.
I've posted to the comments section of the Google Play store.  No response.
Please, would someone from Verizon acknowledge this problem exists?  My best theory so far is that my tablet device is not on a Verizon data plan (WiFi only), so therefore Verizon isn't interested in supporting it (or this loyal customer).
Device is Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, 7.0, running Android 4.0.4.  All FiOs STBs replaced with latest generation.

I am sorry to hear about the troubles you are having with the app. We try to make the app as compatible with all devices as possible. The full list of devices the mobile remote is compatible with is https://www22.verizon.com/OnDemand/unprotected/AboutFlexView.aspx   . You may find there may be devices that do work with it that re not on the list, but these are all verified working devices with the app. Since yours doesn't appear to be on the list, we can not gaurantee it will work. Submitting all the feedback has gotten word back to Verizon about the troubles you are having. You can also submit this to the Verizon Idea Exchange. Please search on the idea exchange and cast your vote. There may be another member who made the same suggestion. • Can't get rid of weird Japanese ads on Samsung Galaxy Tab 4

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4, and one of the first weeks I started using it, this Japanese Assistive Touch type thing appeared, but wasn’t connected with an app I could uninstall to get rid of it. But after a couple weeks, it disappeared without my noticing (or doing anything to cause it to go away). But now (from about several weeks ago) I have started getting these popup ads. However, they are all in Japanese, which leads me to think the Assistive Touch and these ads are connected somehow. When I have accidentally clicked on the ads they try to get me to download their apps (which all have very suspicious permissions). But now I can’t figure out how to make them go away. I have run scans through TrustGo AntiVirus, AVG AntiVirus, Clean Master Antivirus, TrustGo Ad Detector, and Lookout Ad Detector multiple times, and all of them after an initial scan and clear (which only gave basic things and didn’t solve the problem anyway) have told me my system is clean, even though I am still getting the ads. I have run Clean Master’s Junk Files scan, and in the results under the “Obsolete apks” heading, were three apps with Japanese titles, and the words Not Installed underneath them. I told Clean Master to “clean junk”, and the apps disappeared from the list, but the ads were still appearing. Next, I tried running my device in Safe Mode to see if I could pinpoint the problem to a third party app (even though Clean Master had classified them as Not Installed). When I ran it in Safe Mode, I clicked through all the apps available, and no ads appeared. But when I restarted it in Normal Mode, I clicked through all the same apps from Safe Mode, and still no ads appeared. It was only when I went to a third party app that the ads appeared. I went to several third party apps, and ads popped up on almost all of them. However, I’m not sure what to do to now to try to get the ads off. Any suggestions? I would like to avoid doing a factory reset if at all possible.

Not technically, no, but around the beginning of when I got my tablet in
July, an Assistive Touch type thing appeared, but I didn't download it.
That was also in Japanese, but I couldn't figure out a way to delete it.
However, it somehow disappeared without my noticing or doing anything about
it. I feel like they're connected. So the issue's been going on for longer
than from the last app I downloaded. I haven't removed any apps yet to test
    it though.

  • I recently received a samsung galaxy tab 4 nook? and no matter what i cant sign in adobe keeps saying my iinfo is wrong yet i can sign on here whats the issuee and how can i fix it

I've tried resetting the password that doesn't work no matter what I try

I wish I had an answer, but the same thing is happening to me.  Can I go back to the old version of Digital Editions, please?  Any help is greatly appreciated.
Update:  While I didn't answer the question above, I did manage to fix my problem.  Here is the background:  My old Nook was a Nook Color, which, while it was greatly loved and semi-intelligent, it wasn't a tablet.  When I connected it to my computer, it was recognized as a device and showed up in Digital Editions.  My library uses Overdrive to handle the borrowing and download/reading functions.  When you borrow a book, you downloaded it to your computer, opened it in Digital Editions, and then did a "drag and drop" into your Nook.  I had assumed that when I got my new Samsung Galaxy Tab Nook, it would work the same way.  I had not adjusted my thinking to realize that the Tab is a true computer with an operating system (Android) such as that on my laptop.  I was trying to fix the problem with the DRM authorization using every other ePub reader that I could find (installing the app and then attempting to open the book) and nothing worked.  I finally got a message that clicked saying "You do not have rights to open this book" rather than the unhelpful message that I got from Digital Editions saying "Error! Check Authorization".  I looked at my library's website and caught the notification that Overdrive has an app.  I downloaded and installed it, connected to my library, logged in using my library card number and everything was there.  Now, instead of downloading to my laptop and then moving the book to my Nook, I directly connect to my library's website and download the book to my Galaxy Tab.  I could read directly in my browser (provided I was connected to the internet) but downloading ensures that I can read the book in any situation.
This absolutely does not fix the problem in the question above, nor does it answer why my old method worked for exactly two and a half books and then stopped working, but at least I learned something and I have a solution that means my Galaxy Tab can be used for the primary function of my old Nook, that of packing library books with me no matter where I am in a lightweight, easily read format.

  • 'Save as' in Adobe Reader app? (Samsung Galaxy tab)

My tech will be using a Samsung Galaxy tab installed with Adobe Reader to fill-in forms I created from Adobe Acrobat X Pro.  We are using DropBox to 'share' the files.  The only option I am missing is a 'save as' feature on the Adobe Reader app.  I've already extended all the rights of the pdf forms to Reader so according to all the forums, he should have full functionality.  HOW CAN I 'SAVE AS' once he has filled out the form so he can use it for multiple equipment???

I don't believe this is possible. You might want to try to have each individual email you the file once they complete the form.

Highlighter has not been working in Adobe reader in my samsung Galaxy Tab 3.  Can you please help?

Update to comment - I found this thread that is related:
Did Adobe Acrobat Reader revert to this bad and nonintuitive way to highlight text? The highlight approach described in this thread - to select text with handles - does work, but it is truly slow and clumsy.

Samsung tablets use Android OS. There IS NO Flash Player for Android anymore, and there won't be again. Andorid is no longer comaptible with Flash.
Google (Android) recommends using either "Dolphin" or "Puffin" as your browser if you need to view Flash content. They're free in the GooglePlay store and they use "server side rendering" for Flash to reduce the load on your tablet, which prevents draining of your battery and reduction in battery life.
