Samsung Gusto - can't read full texts!

Hi, I bought the samsung gusto yesterday and after putting money on it and everything I found that I could not receive full texts! My boyfriend would send me a long text and only about three words or so appear on the phone. There's nothing to scroll of anything. When I received texts about signing up for a My Verizon account, however, the full text came in. Any reason why?
His phone is a blackberry and I recieved his texts great on my blackberry, so I don't think its a problem on his end.

Texting is how I mainly communicate with others, so I'd be just as concerned if mine wasn't working correctly.
That is odd that you're not receiving full texts. Is the problem just with your boyfriend or other users as well?

Hi,
The long texts of a document are stored in a encrypted format in the STXH and STXL tables, where STXH stores the header information of the
long text like TDOBJECT, which indicates which text object the long text belongs to, TDID which indicates the Text ID and TDNAME which is
the actual name of the long text.
As these texts are stored in a encrypted format, the text cannot be read using a SELECT statement. You will have to use the function READ_TEXT. The easiest way of getting to know the parameter values is to go to a document, open the long text in a full screen mode. For example, when you wan to see the long text for a Purchase order, go to transaction ME23n. Assume, you want to see the parameters for the Header Text. In the first Tab Strip Control, click on the Texts tab and select the Header Text node on the left hand side, which will display the text on the right hand side. Now, double click on the text editor on the right hand side. This will open the text in the full screen mode. In the menu Go To --> Header, you should be able to see the values for all the three parameters we discussed above. We will have to do the same thing for whichever text parameters we want to see.

For them to read/get your iMessages, they would have to activate iMessage, using your Apple ID/password, on their computer...requires a Mac running Mountain Lion. Highly unlikely. If they did try to do such, you'd get an email, from Apple, telling you such had been done. You can prevent this by simply changing your password.
As to whatever is in your backup, now on their computer, there's nothing you can do about that. But, doubtful they'd go through the trouble of trying to extract anything from that backup...again, requires third-party software, as it is not directly accessible.

When can oracle support full text search for Simplified Chinese?

When I create index using the create index clause,the following errors appears
"ORA-29855: error occurred in the execution of ODCIINDEXCREATE routine
ORA-20000: interMedia Text error:

Maybe I have to use like to query words...

What I wanna do is to read all the data above and buffer them in a queue for each user( there are only 10 users in total).
I already created a class called Class packet:

Doesn't sound too hard to me. Your class User (the convention says to capitalize class names) will have an ArrayList or Vector in it to represent the queue, and a method to store a Packet object into the List. An array or ArrayList or Vector will hold the 10 user objects. You will find the right user object from packet.user_id and call the method.
Please try to write some code yourself. You won't learn anything from having someone else write it for you. Look at sample code using ArrayList and Vector, there's plenty out there. Post in the forum again if your code turns out not to behave.

Can't read a text file using java

Hi All
I am trying to read a log file.
ProgramA keeps updating the log file, while my program ProgramB reads it.
For some readson my ProgramB is not able to read the last two lines in the log file. If I run the program in debug mode it is reading all the lines.
This is having me frustrated.
Please let me know if there is a way to read entire contents.
Here is how I am reading the files ( 2ways)

Can we enable full text search using TOAD ?

Hi, i m new to oracle, i come from sql server background
There is a server in israel where oracle 10 g is installed. I stay in india. i want to connect to that database(with valid credentials) and want to know if i can enable full text search feature or any other related feature so that i can search a few keywords as i dont know what tables contain what data.
Plz guide

I don't think this is possible to do in any RDMS! to be a developer you must know the schema. When I was working with Toad it had such an option. I guess it is still there. And that was one of the things that was really really useful.
Of cause TOAD knows the schema. And you could choose where you want to search (include trigger code or not, include data, etc.).
But I'm not sure if there are any requirements for this option. The question should be better asked in a quest-TOAD forum.

I can't read the text in my Acrobat pro fill forms fields

I used to be able to render text with my acrobat pro, now the function is missing. I can't read what people put in the fields I create in my forms if they don't fill it out with acrobat when they email them back. This didn't used to be the case. One month ago I could render the text. I had help from a tech at Adobe about a year ago on this and he changed my acrobat somehow so now I can't update it because it's been "modified". You probably need to provide us with more info about what program you are using to read the text, and how the text is being produced. If it is Unicode Hungarian, then OS X Unicode apps should have no problem reading it, but old apps like Appleworks and WordX cannot. If non-Unicode Hungarian, then you will probably need to make sure that a font with a CE after the name is active in your app.

You have mentioned you want to read only text files.
If you are referring to some specific set of extentions, you can filter based on that.
ex: you want to read only .txt files, you can add an if condition as below :

Express 2014 with Advanced Services, can't create Full Text Index, no service running

I can't confirm that Full-text service is running or installed. There is no sql server full text search [instance] running as a service on the machine. I thought this would be installed with advanced services? I installed all options when installing express
edition 2014. But it's not there. When I run
select fulltextserviceproperty('isfulltextinstalled')
I get a '0' which according to other posts means that it is not installed. I installed Sql Server Advanced Services 2014 with all tools checked. And in Sql Server Configuration Manager I see the service 'Sql Full Text Filter Daemon Launcher' and it is running.
Is there another service called 'sql server full text search' that should be in serives. How do I install full text
search for Sql Server Express 2014 With Advanced Services or install the service so that I can run full text search? Please help !

Could you please verify that if you connect to the correct SQL Server instance?
Based on my test, the error “Cannot use full-text search in user instance” could occur when connecting to the LocalDB as LocalDB does not support the Full-Text feature. To use the Full –Text feature in SQL Server Express, please ensure that you connect
to the instance with connection string “ ServerName\SQLEXPRESS”.
