Samsung Gusto II, group messages appear as blank multimedia messages. Is there a fix?

The phone receives a new message notification, but when you go to open it, it appears to be downloading a multimedia message, but nothing ever appears. Are there any fixes?

TroyByDay, let's find a quick fix for that issue! Have you tried powering your device off/on since having this problem. Perhaps this is a memory capacity issue. We recommend that you delete any unwanted text messaging conversations on your device and power your device off/on. Keep us posted.

Why does my iphone not receive group messages if there is a non iphone user in the group?

Acrobat Pro X: PDF's Appear Distorted on Screen. Is there a Fix?

I'm running Windows 7, and when I try to open a PDF file, the file comes up very distorted, almost as if there is a crack in the screen.
I've run a Repair on Acrobat in Add & Remove Programs, and have uninstalled/reinstalled the program. All of my other files work fine (Word, Excel, etc.).
Has anybody else run into this before? And if so, what did you do to fix it?

Have you tried turning off the Check 2D graphics accelerator under Edit > Preferences> General? Does this happen in all your PDF documents or just specific ones?

I am trying to uninstall and reinstall firefox but when reinstalling i get an error message that states reboot your computer to finish the uninstall i have rebooted 3 time still same message is ther a fix?

Replying to group message!

Fairly new to this Iphone stuff, but when I reply to a group message (Although there is no way to tell it is a group message), how can I just send a reply to the person who sent the meassage? I must be missing something here. I have read everything I thought I could and found have found no solution.

There is no way to respond to an individual in group MMS. This is how MMS works, unfortunately. To respond to an individual, you need to start a new text thread with the individual as your only recipient.

Group messaging setting not there!

I bought a iphone 3gs a month ago and i want to sent a group text but it turns it into a mms group message. I've heard from people i need to turn off group messaging but when i go under settings>messages> there is no group messaging setting there. please help! thank you!!

You can name group iMessage threads. While viewing a conversation, tap Details, in the upper right. Then drag down and enter the name in the Group Name field.

Photos are there but the videos are appearing as blank icons with an error message after the upgrade to Yosemite

I bought myself a new MacBook Pro and migrated everything from a Time Capsule/Time Machine migration. My previous computer was slowly dying so I had backed it up although it was running Mavericks. I migrated everything to the new computer from a Time Machine backup - all my photos and files are there - but in iPhoto, the videos (taken with a camera as .MOV files which usually appear in iPhoto) are appearing as blank icons. When I click on them, I get the error message, "The operation couldn’t be completed. (OSStatus error -54.)" and the video doesn't play or appear. The video does, however, appear when I click on "Reveal in Finder - Original File" - so the files are there - they just aren't being compatible with my iPhoto in Yosemite.
Any idea why?

Do you still have access to the old system? If so drag the iPHtoo library on the new system to the desktop and Connect the two Macs together (network, firewire target mode, etc) or use an external hard drive formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) and drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity from the old Mac to the pictures folder of the new Mac - launch iPhoto on the new mac and it will open the library and convert it as needed and you will be ready move forward.

Being able to read your texts is really important and we'll be happy to help you get them working correctly. How long has this issue been going on for? Has texting ever worked correctly for you?
Also, when you receive texts as all symbols do you know what is contained in those texts? Are there any images in them by chance? Even a smily? If the person sending you the message tries to send it again are you able to read it?

Samsung Gusto does not remember the messaging option...

I text normally using T9 Word option but each time when I choose 'New Message' it is going to 'ABC' mode. Is there a way my Samsung Gusto can be made to remember the 'T9 Word' option?

Go into Messaging >>> Settings >>> Entry mode, and make sure you select T9Word, and save the settings.

Can I send a group message and have it appear as an individual message to the recipients?

I am looking for a way to send one message to all of my work contacts without having everyone's information sent to every recipient. Is there a way to send a group message, but have the recipients of the message only see that it was from me?

I Don't believe that's possible yet unfortunately. The decision to determine group texting is on the recipients phone not on your end. So on the iPhone if the recipient has the group messaging toggled to the on position and you send out a group text the recipient will be able to see all of the people that text went to. You could ask, within your group text that they all start a new text to you instead of replying to that one because unfortunately the option to reply to sender or reply to all hasn't caught on with cell phones yet. I would love to see this change in the near future or if there is a way or a workaround hopefully someone mentions it here.

Why are my texts getting sent back to me and turned into group messages?

I had an ongoing conversation with someone. There weren't any problems. I sent myself a picture from my laptop to myself in iMessage. When I looked at my phone, it displayed 3 different conversations with my name as the name. I noticed that the last thing I had said to the other person was the message preview for one of my names so it was as if somehow my conversation replaced his. I clicked it open and it appeared to be blank so I deleted it.
I went to send him a text from the new message thing, but when i would send a text to his phone number, it would automatically be sent to me instead and open my name's conversation again.
When I looked at the conversation with him on my laptop in iMessage, the history was all still there, so I tried to send him a message from my laptop and it would display that the message was not sent. Except though it didn't send to him, it did send back to myself again. This time even using his ringtone that I have only for him. I restarted my phone to see if this would fix the problem. When I turned my phone on, it was back to normal with his conversation and all of its history, but when i tried to send him a text again, it turned the conversation into a group message with him, and myself? I'm very confused and I don't know how to fix this. Can anyone help with this problem? I tried searching the internet for people with similar problems and couldn't find anything. :I

If you're exchanging texts with someone who has a basic phone, messages they send to you will be broken up into blocks no larger than 160 characters. They wil also receive your messages broken up in the blocks not larger than 160 characters.

Samsung Gusto 2 turns itself off

My Samsung Gusto 2 that I got from Verizon Wireless in April is randomly turning itself off. This is getting increasingly frequent, and over the past weekend it must have happened 20 times. The battery appears fine, it is fully charged, and nothing bad has happened to the phone. What are my options?
