Samsung Kies Software for Galaxy tab or phone
My wife wants the Galaxy S II phone, which is available here at far less the iPhone 4. So I decided to test the software first before authorizing the purchase. The Samsung site states the software is 10.5+ but the installer itself says it won't install on Lion. So I just used Pacifist and that worked. But without the device, I won't be sure it really does work or not, even though it appears too. Does anyone else have this going on a Galaxy tab or phone? Thx!

Btw, I really like the apporach...seems so much simplier then my iTunes setup for my phones/tab. But again, I am not even sure if this works...
I have lion and kies. I did it by downloading an older version of the mac software then updating it and that worked. The software generally is a bit buggy so patience is needed however unlike the iphone you can use the phone as an external hardrive and this takes away the need to have a program to manage the phone as you can just drag and drop into the phone folders. The only thing I have found is that so far you can not update the firmware when you can do that on the windows program.
I moved from 3gs to galaxy2 and so far I am far more impressed. One feature I like is you can sync your contacts/settings and apps with good and should you have to do a factory reset the phone will automatically restore the phone to the previous state with you even having to plug phone in computer. Gets you up and running in seconds.

What is the best synchronizing software for an Android mobile phone?
I have a Samsung GS4 and am having trouble synchronizing with a program called SyncMate that I DL'd. It works but sometimes too well--it downloads everything with no recognition of the duplications it's making. So I end up with 20 entries in my contact list for the same person, ultimately clogging my phone with excess data. Is there a better synchronization software or am I stuck with having to buy an iPhone to make things work?
Apple certainly does not produce any software for syncing Android devices. You may want to check with Google or Samsung.

Galaxy Tabs use Android.
There is no more Flash Player for Android and there won't be another. Android is no longer compatible with Flash Player. Playing Flash content is very processor consumptive and it drains your battery, also shortening the life of it. Android (Google) recommends using either "Dolphin" or "Puffin" as your browser if you need to view Flash content with a mobile device running Android. They're both free in the GooglePlay store. These browsers use "server side" rendering to reduce the load on your device. -
Default software for the 8320 Tmobile phone
Im am having troblue trying find the software 4.5.0 ( the default software for the blackberry) because everything on my screen has gonne blank and i think by re installing it would help. Can Anyone tell me who to get the software and a set of instructions on what to do? It would be much appriciated!!!

In order to install the software, you need Desktop Manager. You also need to download and install the latest OS for your phone (from your provider).

I've run into same thing with my Galaxy S. I don't think Google or Samsung wrote drivers for these Android devices, assuming Mac users only use iPhones or something.
Now, there is a qualifier with my phone: Kies software doesn't recognize original Galaxy phones. It should recognize your phone, of you install the software. There is Kies software for Mac now available on Sammy's website. -

I received the update notification yesterday, but I had too many files on the device so I had to cancel LOL. It's downloading now and it'll be fun to see what changes lay ahead in my Galaxy Tab.
YES I'm in Australia. To force the update go to Settings, About Device and in right screen tap Update Now.

When I go to certain sites on the web which have search boxes, Firefox will pop up the onscreen keyboard as the page load completes, without me doing anything to focus the search box. It's annoying to have to tell the keyboard to go away each time before I can navigate in the page.
I specified the device I am using (Galaxy Tab 2 7 inch) because it uses a nonstandard keyboard applet, called simply the Samsung Keyboard, which could be doing something different than the regular Android one. I don't have the option of switching to the stock Android keyboard.That won't help iamjayakumars. That pref blocks popup windows on load. The keyboard is not a popup window.
This behavior happens because the website sets focus to a text box on the page. Firefox is following the standard behavior for desktop browsers. -
