Connect samsung WB150 wifi camera to imac?
Hi
I have a samsung WB150 wifi camera and thought I would be able to transfer photos easily to my imac, but I can't see how to do this?According to c|net's review, your camera is not Mac compatible, so easy photo file transfer may be impossible.
If your camera's user manual does not help you connect to your Mac or network, the next best thing I can suggest is to connect a compatible SD Card reader to your iMac's USB port and see if you can read the jpeg files your camera stores on the card.

Your signature in 1st post was 10.8.2.
You went backwards?
Did you reformat and reinstall when you first purchased it?
If not I HIGHLY recommend you do that before you do anything else. -

Hi Iron Tommy,

I just updated my phone to iso 7 and it will not activate my push notifications or facetime and I'm connected to wifi help???
Hi Heva79!
You may want to try simply restarting your phone to see if you are able to get past that page after a restart. Instructions for doing this can be found here:
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
If you are still experiencing this issue after a restart, you may want to attempt the steps for a reset as outlined in that same article. Thanks for coming to the Apple Support Communities!

Samsung TV wifi connection speed to HH3
Having issues connecting to my NAS media content from my TV via the HHS - when i check in the HH home network connected divices it shows my TV as connected via wifi at 1mbps... all my other devices are hitting in excess of 60mbs to the hub. However when i open a browser on the TV itself and check on speedtest.net i get around 9mbps (although I get 30+mbps on ipad right next to TV)... Is there any settings in the HH itself to allocate bandwidth or improve the connection to the TV or is it more likely to be an issue at the TV's side? Not sure if it is just the HH and Samsung don;t like each other? The frustrating thing is it plays VoD/iplayer HD with no lag at all (I'm on infinity2) so I can;t see it being a bandwidth issue
Anyone elese had issues with samsung TVs and the HH?Wireless is not going to be reliable or fast enough for streaming media. There are some other options on this page.

MBP constant crashing and one very upset wife HELP PLEASE
Well I am at my wits end and I need some help, I am running a MBP, 10.7.1, stock everything, I have not upgraded RAM or HDD
I went out of town about 8 weeks ago and when I came back, tried to turn on my mac and it wouldn't come on. I finally lion clean install and have been running fine every since.
Then the past week I have been experience several problem
1- I can not shut down my machine. I tried to logout, and then shutdown, this worked for a bit. It has stopped working. I have also tried to hold opt when I shut down.
I also check TOP in terminal before shutdown and kill any processes that may be hanging things up, manually quit all applications before shutting down.
Nothing I do works, is there a way to have the system shutdown with a terminal window open so I can see what process is hanging things up?
2- The larger issue is that my computer is constantly crashing, nothing shows up on the screen everything just locks up.
This is happening 3-4 times in the first hour of using the machine. It has gotten to the point that when I turn on the machine I let it sit for 15 minutes before I do anything.
I have tried to force quit things, but it won't work. I finally hold the power button for 5 secs and force it to shut down.
I checked add ons in terminal via it showed me
kextstat -kl | awk '!/com\.apple/{printf "%s %s\n", $6, $7}'
it showed me
at.obdev.nke.LittleSnitch (2.4.4)
com.huawei.driver.HuaweiDataCardACMData (4.20.00)
com.huawei.driver.HuaweiDataCardECMControl (1.26.00)
com.huawei.driver.HuaweiDataCardECMData (1.27.00)
I have also clean caches/ and so on to make sure there wasn't a bad file.
This morning I noticed that a crash report keeps getting written each day, the same exact one, I will post a copy below. I am new to mac's and just about had my wife convinced of them. She is beginning to loose that trust and is very upset with me. Please help!!

240.7MThanks for all of your help, I thought that the USB modem was the problem. Unfortunately this is the only internet where we are.
Today I went ahead and found any processess that the USB modem was running and terminated it. Then I tried to shutdown, but it wouldn't again, I went through console and found this this. . . thoughts on what this could mean?

I have also had two crashes today that generated crash reports, both generated almost identical reports. Thse reports are similar as the ones before, and questionable software has been removed. What next to try?
Both crash reports where the same and looked like this

Images too dark on Samsung monitor - please help!
We've just upgraded a Samsung 21" monitor to a Samsung 30" (305T).
In just TWO applications, Photoshop CS3 and Windows Photo Gallery (Vista64), all photographic images are much too dark. Not subtly, about 3-4 f-stops too dark.
EVERY other of our applications INCLUDING ADOBE BRIDGE AND FIREWORKS, and even Photoshop itself during Save to Web, displays the photos as they should appear.
I've tried setting various profiles in Windows Color Management as the default, including the ICC profile sRGB IEC61966-2.1 (which my reading says we should be using), as well as WCS profiles sRGB virtual and scRGB virtual, and tried using no profile at all. None of these changes makes any apparent difference at all to the images we're seeing.
In Photoshop, I've tried various options too. If set to Monitor Color (Monitor RGB - * wscRGB) Photoshop then displays images as it should. However the Camera Raw display when loading Nikon images is still much too dark, and the Photoshop Save to Web images are much too light. Arrrgh!
The monitor does not include any driver software, just electronic documentation (poorly edited) which offers no advice about this. I've seen references to various Gamma utilities, but not sure that's what I need. Is it?
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!
TIAThanks Peter & Sid. I appreciate the advice, but it doesn't match our experience over 12 years of designing web applications so I'm having trouble understanding what's different, can I ask for any more advice you might have?
If we calibrate the monitor using the recommended tools, will Photoshop images look 2-3 f-stops brighter (i.e. as they should look) and will images in all other apps (which look fine now, have always looked fine) look 2-3 f-stops too bright? Or would we be changing JUST the way Photoshop sees the images?
Through probably a dozen different previous CRT and LCD monitors, we've never calibrated anything. Even on our immediately-previous Samsung 213T monitor, images appear pretty much the same in Photoshop as they do in all other places. That includes published web sites viewed with several popular browsers and viewed on literally hundreds of different systems inside and outside of our office.
The previous monitor was being used with exactly the same software and hardware as the new one. The only thing that's changed is the monitor.
Peter asks about brightness or white point luminance. I haven't used any tool to determine that. The monitor is set to 50% brightness, for whatever that's worth, but I can tell you that it is substantially BRIGHTER on white than the previous monitor. The previous Samsung monitor is being run side-by-side with the new one, and it looks quite dull and yellow beside the new one (and we thought it was a great monitor!) The new 30" Samsung has MUCH whiter whites. Does that help even a little?
Thanks for any further advice. -
New iPhone user question - not competent, needs wifi help please
I've recently got an iPhone 3GS, never used a phone for internet, barely understand wifi, haven't a clue about bluetooth (an indicator of how incompetent I am). I've tried switching on wifi and initially got offered BT Openzone, but the page jumps to one about BT Fon which seems to be asking me to subscribe to BT. I've read these webpages on my PC to try and understand what they mean but it's too confusing. Is BT Openzone a free wifi network I can use? Or do I have to enter my phone number somewhere as a password to activate it? Can I leave 3G open when I'm using wifi? Do I need to have data roaming switched on to use wifi? (If anyone has a link to an instruction manual for the 3GS for idiots, I'd really, really appreciate it as I find it hard to try and read the user guide on the phone itself and try to practise what it tells me.) Thanks for any help available.
http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iPhone_iOS4_User_Guide.pdf
It's also on the phone as a bookmark in Safari.
You should have data roaming OFF except in special circumstances, which aren't important for you. WiFi is available in many places, but you don't need it if you have a 3G data plan for your phone. BT Openzone is only one of many; lots of cafes have free WiFi, as does Starbuck's in most of the world. It's simply a faster data network that doesn't use your 3G data allownance if you have one. I don't know if BT Openzone is free or not; sowone in the UK will know, however. Also what your login information should be. I doubt that it is your phone number, however. -

Have you tried turning your Home router Off for 30 seconds and then turing it back on... -
I bought my i pod touch on the 13th and i am having problems connecting to wifi. Whenever i do get connected and i go to safari or youtube it says cannot connect. if it helps i have a link sys wireless g router. I also have th 22 letter encryption code that i put in correctly with capital and lower case letters using the arrow on the bottom left corner of th i touch
OK - so we know it's not an issue with the iPod Touch... that's a good start. Have you tried turning off the encryption on your network and retrying?
If you get a message that says "Safari can't load the page because it can't find the server" try resetting your network settings on the iPod (Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings), then powercycling your router (turn it off, wait 10 seconds, turn it back on) and then try to reconnect to your network.

Can't download itunes to samsung juke! help
can any one help me? I want to download my itunes, to my samsung juke, not having much success. not very computer savvy.
Wow, how impatient are you?! You allowed just 10 minutes for someone to answer before asking for "help" again...
Normally you would use "Bluetooth File Exchange" on the Mac to send files to the phone. However, according to the specifications of this phone, it's Bluetooth support is crippled to just 'object push for vCard only'. This means the phone will only accept Contact data via Bluetooth, not MP3 files.
So, you have to use the USB cable. A quick search came up with the following thread on the subject:

Wifi; lost my connection and can't print to my Epson Artisan 800. Have tried 3 downloads from Epson and one driver download from Apple... Zip? The only way I can print from my Mac Desktop is hooking back up the USB cable direct to printer. on/off, unplug/replug, delete printer/ add printer, downloads gallore, I'm LOST?? Anybody Help??? Dave
If the printer supports Bonjour for printing you should be able to open Safari, select the Bookmarks icon and then select Bonjour in the sidebar. If the printer is advertising itself on the network it should appear as a link in the right pane of Safari.
If the printer uses some other protocol and relies on Epson software to advertise itself on the network, then I suggest you reset the printing system and trash the Epson folder located in HD > Library > Printers. With this folder removed, connect the printer to the Mac via USB so that the printer driver is downloaded from Apple Software Update. Once the printer is added for a USB connection, disconnect the USB cable and connect it to your wifi. Then open Print & Scan and click to add the printer again. Hopefully the Epson will now appear in the Default Add Printer view. -
Seeking a Nokia or Samsung sync workaround - help!
Greetings everyone,
Apple Forums newcomer here, so be gentle with me, please.
I'm looking to purchase a new cell phone shortly, and was effectively flipping a coin between the Nokia 6111 and the Samsung D500 (or D600), until I realised neither of them are listed as compatible devices for iSync.
Now I know from digging around in here that the Nokia 6111 is a series 40 phone and thus not supported, and Samsung (for whatever buggy/proprietary software reasons) has never been supported. I caught mention of the PhoneDirector for some series 40 phones, but it doesn't seem to include coverage for the 6111 (from their page, is that incorrect?).
So, basically what I want to know is this:
Is there a program or workaround (or anything!) for either the Nokia 6111 or Samsung D500/D600 for transferring pictures/photos to your Mac?
Contacts and phone numbers I'm not so concerned with, but what I really want to be able to do is get my photos to my iBook without having to spend $$$ sending them via MMS. I don't mind if it's Bluetooth or USB (or what), I just want to be able to do it.
If not, that's cool (though I'll be disappointed) - I just want to know. It's the deciding factor on a phone for me, as I've had a Motorola v620 for about 15 months and not a day goes by where I don't want to throw it out a window somewhere (not the least of which because I've never been able to get photos off it!).
I'd appreciate any help, insight, or advice I can get.
Cheers,
-adiav.

iBook G4 12" Mac OS X (10.4.3)Hi there.
I am using a nokia N70, and although the 'handset' is not supported through isync at the moment, the os (symbian 60) is. If you go to my website, I have listed a quick fix for isync that makes the phone work fine.
