Samsung Printer Firmware update information for iOS8 AirPrint compatibility issue

It has been noticed that there is a compatibility issues on some of the Samsung network printers while printing from iOS8 devices using AirPrint.
In order to resolve this compatibility issue with iOS8, new firmware for printer has been released.
Issue Case:
Printing using AirPrint from iPhone or iPad running Apple iOS 8.0 or later.
- Devices running version prior to iOS 8.0 or Mac OS X have no issues.
Details about affected printers and their fixed firmware versions.

Search for your printer model on the link below

Download the firmware.
Run the downloaded file and follow the instruction provided on the installation screen.
PS. During firmware update do not power off or unplug power cord of your printer. Doing so may make your printer unusable.
Moreover if in case non-compliant toner is used, it may cause error after firmware is updated.

Firmware update available for 6230?

Hi,
new to this so sorry if its all been said before.
I have a 6230 that I am loathe to get rid of, its a good phone, I wondered if there was a firmware update available for my current phone and how much Nokia charge for updating it as it is out of warranty.
Any help/advice would be most appreciated.

The issues with the 6233 in a carkit are well publicised within these forums, I'll just give you a brief rundown.
No 'lights on always' option, some say this is because of some EU directive, however it is rumoured that the 6233 is prone to screen burn. Either way it's a downright danger at night because your eyes down have time to adjust to the brightness when someone calls you or if you chose to make a call.
You cannot record your own voicetags, an automatic voicetag system is in place for all contacts meaning for example instead of recording your own tag for the contact 'John A Mobile' as 'John', you'll have to say 'John A Mobile' and hope the 6233 understands you and doesn't either give you a list or pick the wrong contact altogether.
Key 2 is now reserved for the video mailbox, so you cannot assign it as a speed dial key.
Ring/Alert tones set at level 5 (maximum) do not ringout at full blast at first, they ascend. Not really an issue with a carkit, just annoys me as I can barely hear the SMS tone.
Apart from all the above, I find the 6233 really good for texting and as a 3g bluetooth modem.
If I had the choice again I'd either stick with the 6230 or put the money towards an offline 6230i for the slightly larger screen and because you don't have to change the cradle.

Aperture 3.03 when quitting gets stuck in "Updating information for preview

Hi there,
i notice that maybe 3 out of 10 times when i quit aperture, it hangs.
There is a progress bar at the top saying "updating information for preview images" (translated, so the english original may be a bit different) but the bar wont move, the disc doesnt make any sounds and when i look in the actvity monitor it says aperture has around 35 threads and uses 1% of cpu power.
i usually then force quite aperture after some time.
if seems to occur more often after emptying the trash.
any ideas?
i get rather frustrated with force quittung becaus i get the feeling its no good for my library, however i run into problems repairing my library as explain elsewhere.

Still no firmware update available for E71 RM-346

Hi,
According to Nokia (http://europe.nokia.com/A4577225), there should be a firmware update available for the E71 (update from version 100.07.76 to 110.07.127.
I checked my product code (0569803) on http://europe.nokia.com/A4577224 "Can I update my Nokia device software?" and it tells me, that there is no update available:
"Latest available software for Nokia E71, product code 0569803
Version: 100.07.76" (> same firmware version which I currently have on my phone.)
Does anybody know, when there will be a firmware update available for the E71 with product code 0569803?

I have an e71-1 (RM-346) and to this day i still cannot get an update. the phone freezes on mid answer and yet i still cannot fix it the phone came with firmware 200.21.118 and the nokia site says they are aup update 300.21.114 and other telling me they ave version 400.00.00 on theirs

Update to my previous post: HP confirms that their Firmware Update Utility is broken, but there is another way to update the firmware on a LaserJet P2055dn using a Mac running OS X, and here it is. HP tech support walked me through this procedure and it worked for me: Getting the printer ready: ensure that the LaserJet P2055dn is connected to your computer and make it the default printer. In System Preferences / Printers and Scanners, find your HP LaserJet P2055dn, select it, Click “Open Print Queue” and on the Printer menu, choose “Make Default.” On that same menu, choose “Print Test Page” and verify that the page prints.Using your Web browser, go to the following page on the HP website and click the “Download” button. Don’t worry that the page says it’s for Windows Vista. The file you’re about to download is for your HP LaserJet printer and doesn’t care what kind of computer you use to install it. Here’s the link:

Can't Update Information for ONE album?

I'm having a problem with iTunes. I can't update the information (album art, album name, album artist, etc.) for the album. Well, when I click "Get Info" for the album I can edit the information, but nothing changes. Further, I can't change the information whatsoever when I click "Get Info" for an individual song of that album. When I click "Get Info" for an individual song of that album, I can't even EDIT the information. However, if I click "Get Info" for the album, I can edit the information, but nothing changes when I click "OK".
Just to be sure, I tried changing some information for other albums and songs from other albums, and everything works fine. It's just this one album that's giving me trouble. Any suggestions? I really appreciate the help!

If your song is not of file type ACC, then use the iTunes > File > Create New Version > Create ACC version.
Then you should be allowed to add Artwork to the ACC version.

Firmware updates unavailable for most product code...

it's over a month now that Nokia has released the latest 40.x.x firmware for its 5800 model, or should I say to a small, privilleged amount of customers? I have purchased a Nokia 5800 via Amazon.de, totally unbranded, product code is 0578314, and up to now, the new firmware is unavailable. Why does it take so long for the firmware to become available at least for the unbranded country versions? Technically, there seems to be no problem at all, since many users simply change their product code and install the new firmware, but I am asking here for an official way to get the new firmware in time. The massive delay in firmware updates for different product codes is simply a pain for us paying customers who want the latest features available.

This fact is not clearly obvious when you buy a phone, so how does a customer know if he gets a CV (copuntry variant) or any other type of phone before buying? When I bought my unbranded 5800XM, I was still thinking that I get a perfect, free phone, and that firmwareupdates can be applied when available. It was absolutely not apparent to me that I would have to wait three months or so, before I can upgrade my phone to a new firmware, once it becomes available

Auf der Supportseite von Lenovo ist eindeutig zu entnehmen, dass die BIOS Versionen 1.25/1.20 aus dem Jahr 2012 und die 1.15/1.17 aus dem Jahr 2013 stammen. Ich denke, dass es sich um unterschiedliche Geräte handelt und entsprechend eine bestimmte BIOS Reihe unterstützt wird.
Im Readme steht:
Versions 1.25 (for BIOS ID 6Zxxxxxx-based computer)
1.20 (for BIOS ID 6Yxxxxxx-based computer)
und
Versions 1.15 (for Machine types: 0217 and 0250)
1.17 (for Machine type: 0221)
Ich denke, dass ich mit meiner Vermutung richtig liege.
Wo du eine BIOS Version 1.18 beziehen kannst, das weiß ich nicht. Vermutlich gibt es keine neuere Version. Ich würde auch nicht krampfhaft probieren eine falsche aufzuspielen.
Meine Frage ist, wie lange die Akku, so im Normalbetrieb reicht?

Recently nokia UK has been up to two months behind for firmware updates.

Firmware update problem for Nokia 7373

Just updated to firmware v5.0 for my Nokia 7373 and everything seem to work fine except when I go access my 'GOTO' menu. Then it crashes my phone ( well it's freezes my phone up).
I go through the update as required with the Software update - even tried reinstalling it and still gets the same result.
Can anyone help me out either revert back to the old firmware or fix the problem?

I've installed on my Windows 7 x64 development machine (in the given order):
1) SQL Server Developer Edition 2014 x64
2) Visual Studio Professional Edition 2013 with Update 3 x86
3) SSDT - BI for VS 2013 x86 (12.0.2430.0 => latest version)
After migrating my SSIS 2008 solutions in VS 2013 (using the SSIS package upgrade wizrd), I discovered that the property
ScriptLanguage of my C# script tasks show "Microsoft Visual C#
2012".
Trying to edit any of those scripts the "Program compatibility issues" shows up for Visual Studio 2012, but, I'm using Visual Studio 2013 !
Is there something wrong with my installation order or SSDT - BI not really compatible with VS 2013 ?

After testing the issue in my environment, I can reproduce it in SSDT-BI for VS 2013. And I find that the ScriptLanguage property of C# script tasks show "Microsoft Visual C# 2010” in SSDT, and show "Microsoft Visual C# 2012” in SSDT for SSDT –
BI for VS2012. It shows incorrect only in SSDT-BI for VS 2013.

I want to configure the ERP MA (3.3.1077.2) for SAP on ILM 2007 in order to synchronize passwords between AD and SAP. I have several instances of SAP. The SAP versions are as follow:
SAP ECC 6.0 7.00 - 64bit
SAP ECC 6.4 7.01 - 64bit
SAP BI 7.1 7.01 - 64bi
I was wondering whether there are compatibility issues with any of the above mentioned versions.

Firmware update VR3 for HP 5510 printer

Received an update message from HP and downloaded/executed update. Printer will not print black type but will print jpgs. If black is part of jpg, then it comes out a very pale gray. Will print colors. Will not copy black printing also. I uninstalled the printer and reinstalled the original printer driver. It did not solve the problem! At a loss!

Statistics update information for Cube

Can you please tell me which are the tables which contain information about the cube statistics.I want the specific date when the cube statistics were last refreshed.From which database table i can get this information ?

I am in the process of making one tool which will display the number of uncompressed requests in the cube along with the traffic signal indication whether the displayed data is for the cube having stats updated or not.But I am facing one problem.For status of the cube I am using one standard FM 'RSDU_INFOCUBE_ANALYZE_CHECK', which takes infocube name as input ang gives the status of the cube ie G(GREEN) or Y(YELLOW) or R(RED).
But that function module is not returning the proper value.I mean even if DB stats are not refreshed in the cube(which we find in the PERFORMANCE TAB of MANAGE CUBE)it is returning the value GREEN so the output which I get from the Tool is not for the Cube having stats refreshed.
Kindly suggest me the solution for How can I get the traffic signal to be YELLOW for the Cube having stats not refreshed and traffic signal should be GREEN for the Cube having stats refreshed.

Camera Firmware Update Asking for 32 bit Kernel?

I'm updating my Sony DSLR camera firmware and it rejects doing the update because of 64 bit kernel and asking for 32 bit??
What needs to be done to accomplish that?
