Samsung s6 edge stopped working

hi ive only had my phone couple months now and took it off charge tonight before i went out and when i took it out my pocket i cant get it on,there is a flashing blue light at the top left, any suggestions

If you continue to have problems with the phone you should get in touch with Samsung directly. It's a very expensive piece of kit and is still under warranty. This shouldn't be happening if it's two months oldhttp://www.samsung.com/uk/support/category/mobile/mobiledevice

Hello, my Logitech dinovo edge wireless keyboard stopped working at one point in the last few days, when I use it, I can't get any response from the computer when I hit any keys or use the touchpad.
It used to work out of the box I just had to run the bluetooth, and it worked.
Here's an output of the log, when connecting the bluetooth dongle to the computer:

    Any help please?

I was able to get mine listed in hcitool by using hid2hci.  Use lsusb to get the device's hex ID (just running the command hid2hci worked as well since I only had one device).  I was able to enable this behavior on start by setting HID2HCI_ENABLE and HIDD_ENABLE to true in /etc/rc.d/bluetooth and /etc/conf.d/bluetooth.

  • Why did Start Analog Edge stop working?

I have been using the Start Analog Edge DAQmx function to initiate my data read (similar to the Multi-Devices Synch-Analog Input-Finite Acq-Analog Start.vi example). It has worked fine for several days, but recently stopped working. I can see the signal at the hardware test panel, I can see the trigger signal on the waveform if I route around the start trigger function. I cannot actually get the function to recognize the start trigger.
Not sure what other sort of debugging I can do. Hopefully, someone has encountered this before and can clue me in to what I am missing.

    Hi,
I have a couple questions for you to help narrow down the issue:
    1) What device are you using?
    2) What driver are you using?
    3) What has changed in the setup (hardware and software) from when it was working to when it stopped working?
    4) You are using a multiple device VI. Is that because you have multiple devices you are trying to trigger. Please explain in more detail what you are trying to do and how you are trying to do it.
You could use the ContACq&Graph Voltage-Int Clk-Analog Start.vi to do the same thing with just one board. This may be better suited for your needs. This example can be found in the LabVIEW example finder.
I hope this helps. Have a Great Day!

  • Wifi in Samsung QX310 has stopped working after an upgrade.

Hello, I have an QX310 laptop with Broadcom 4313 wireless card. Everything worked smoothly until a recent upgrade. Now I can scan networks but when I try to connect the authentication times out. I'm using brcmsmac module to handle the card, which is listen in MODULES in my rc.conf. The card works under Windows 7 on the same machine.

Thanks for your interest. Anyhow, when it was not working it showed network list in wicd, so I guess iwlist scan would work to. Apart from wicd, I tried to connect through netcfg and then through plain wpa_supplicant. Each time it failed to authenticated with my network as though it didn't receive any data from the router (though I put my laptop in the same room). As I wrote Win7 on the same laptop and my android phone connected without any problems.

  • EDGE NOT WORKING AFTER 4.0 UPDATE

I was overjoyed when I upgraded the OS of my Iphone to 4.0 but the joy was short lived as I came to know that the EDGE stopped working after the upgrade. I am using it in India with Airtel as the Service Provider. I spoke to Airtel and they opined that EDGE would not work on IOS 4.0. Even after the upgrade installation IOS 4.0.1, no improvement in result. Can any one help me on this?

Edge works fine in Australia, so I would be surprised if it didn't work in India.
    First, Restart you phone.
Hold the Home and Sleep keys till the Swipe to Turn Off is displayed and the follow the instruction.
Once the phone is turned off, turn it back on and wait for your carrier to be connected and see if that works
    If still no good then,
    Check the following settings.
Settings - General - Network - Set Enable 3G to Off, This will turn on Edge instead.
Also in the same area Settings - General - Network - Set Cellular Date to On.
Now you should have Data over Edge not 3G.
If that doesn't make any difference, you may have to Reset the Network Settings
Settings - General - Reset - Reset Network Settings.
This will also reset any WiFi settings you have, but to prove the problem, you will have to renew any Wifi zones you are using.
If Still no joy, change the phone to Airplane mode
Settings - Airplane Mode to On.
Leave it for a moment until you have lost connection to your carrier, the turn it back on.
If all that fails, you may have to restore the phone to new.
Airtel/Vodaphone (I presume this is the one you are using) advertise themselves as a 2G/3G network, so there is no reason Edge should not be accessible that I know of.

  • My Refine Edge in Photoshop CS6 has STOPPED WORKING, please help!

    Photoshop CS6
    Windows 8.1
I have been using refine edge with no problem for months.
    everything worked great!
I was able to extract out hair and edges very, very, very well...
but about 2 weeks ago...something changed... the refine edge brush no longer works.
When I click on Refine Edge... instead of a brush icon, I get the CIRCLE with a SLASH and my system keeps dinging because the tool is just not available.
I deleted my preferences...but it is still a problem
NOW... when I adjust the sliders, i don't see a preview of the adjustments...
    Please help!!!!

    no difference.
i have tried to check and uncheck everything...
if i adjust the sliders, i get NO Preview... but when i click OK, the resulting photo has been completely ruined by the tool...
    I tried deleting preferences...no change
the weird thing is that this problem was very sudden.  Just a few weeks ago, I was using refine edge with NO PROBLEM. it is my GO TO tool for extracting people out of pictures...
but then one day, it just stopped working...
Do i need to reinstall CS6???

  • I can't make or take phone calls, but i can message and use data. Has this happened to anyone else? I've gone through three Samsung Galaxy S5's in the past three days, two of which have this problem and one just stopped working all together.

My phone doesn't have any cellular phone functions...but it CAN send text messages and access data. Has this happened to anyone else? I've gone through three Samsung Galaxy S5's in the past three days, the last two have this problem and the first stopped working all together. I've had new sim cards put in, ive done hard resets on the phone, i've rebooted the phone, done battery pulls, and tech support has reset the signal to my phone. Nothing has worked. (I just "upgraded" <- lol.... and my old phone IS turned off.)

Im in 79707. So to recap my whole case: I upgraded my device using the verizon wireless website. I received my phone and switched my old SIM card from my Droid Razr Maxx HD into the new Galaxy S5. Everything worked fine until the next morning (May 31st) when I woke up and the phone wouldn't turn on. I took the phone to the local Verizon store and they were also unable to turn it on. They issued me a new Galaxy S5 (referred to as phone 2) and switched my SIM card into that one.
With PHONE 2 i was able to make calls and receive calls, along with text and data for approximately four hours. After that, i was unable to use the phone function of the device, but text and data were still functioning. I took PHONE 2 back to the Verizon store where they attempted to hard reset the phone twice, they also installed two new SIM cards at the store. After this they would get the same error, which is the phone just reading "Dialing..." after attempting to make a call. The Verizon associate declared the phone "DOA" and issued me another Galaxy S5 (referred to as PHONE 3).
PHONE 3 worked well, with phone text and data featured intact from when I received it on the after noon of the 31st until approximately 2:30PM on June 1st. I contacted Verizon Tech Support via Gmail phone to attempt the correct the problem. They reset the connection, had me do a battery pull, had me close the "phone" application, and erase the data and catche, then restart the phone. All of which had no effect. My phone is still able to receive texts and use data (even with wifi off) it simply cannot make or take phone calls. all it says is "dialing..." when I attempt to make a call. When other phones call my device it rings once on their end and directs them to voicemail, PHONE 3 does not ring on my end.
I have made sure my old phone is completely powered down.

  • Paste from Illustrator to Edge Animate (CC 2014) has stopped working.

Paste from Illustrator to Edge Animate (CC 2014) has stopped working. Gives an 'Error Loading Image!' Any suggestions?

    Hi SujaiS
I am using both Illustrator and Edge Animate CC 2014.
Screen shots show a simple test shape in illustrator on the left and the Edge screen when I try to paste.
    Thanks.

  • Mac shortcuts (OSX Yosemite) stop working after Edge Animate runs for a while

When I first open up an Edge animation file all my shortcuts work fine, such as Command-S to save.
After the software has been running for a while all my OSX shortcuts stop working and I have to copy, paste and save from the File menu instead.
When I restart the program it all goes back to normal for a short while and then they stop working again.
Some more info in case it's helpful:
My current project is based around animating SVG shapes (character animation).
    I'm running Yosemite OSX.
Adobe Edge 2014.1.1 is the version I'm using
It crashes consistently but pops up a  'save your work' message first. I'd say at least once a day if I don't restart frequently enough.
I restart about every hour or so as I'm working.
My OSX shortcuts work fine in other software such as Photoshop, this is specific to Edge
    My hardware is as follows:
      Model Name: MacBook Pro
      Model Identifier: MacBookPro10,1
      Processor Name: Intel Core i7
      Processor Speed: 2.7 GHz
      Number of Processors: 1
      Total Number of Cores: 4
L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB
      L3 Cache: 8 MB
      Memory: 16 GB
Just putting this up here in case any other Edge users on Mac have noticed anything similar.

    Hi Danny,
Thanks for writing to us with your concern. We are sorry to know that you are facing problems while using Adobe Edge Animate.
How often is it happen? Is there any time frame like after 1 hour or 2 hours this issue is occurred?
Can you please try updating your Mac Book 10.10.3?
    Please share the result.

  • Logitech DiNovo Edge (non-mac version) suddenly stopped working on 17MBP5,2

    I have a Mid 2009, 17" MacBook Pro 5,2 with Mac OS X 10.6.7.
Connected to the laptop I have a Dell 2709WFP via HDMI, a Logitech MX Revolution mouse and a Logitech DiNovo Edge.
Recently the keyboard would stop working after a reboot. I would have to disconnect the KB dongle and log into Mac OS X before reconnecting for it to work. Then it stopped working altogether no matter what I did. Unplug, plug it back in. Different USB ports, etc... I did not have the Logitech Control Center installed.
So I installed the latest Logitech Control Center. It recognizes the mouse, but not the keyboard. However the mousepad on the keyboard works. Just the keyboard itself does not.
So I put the KB dongle into my 13" Mid 2009 MBP5,5 (10.6.7) and it works perfectly. So I plug it into a Windows 7 PC, and it works perfectly. The battery is fully charged. The issue existed in both 10.6.6 & 10.6.7.
I've tried reconnecting and everything else. I'm at a loss. Totally confused.
I haven't installed any applications lately when the issue started.
    Does anyone have any suggestions?

  • Upgrade from free EE to EE monthly pay (Samsung S6 edge) and it does not work

Hi, Today 28th of July, I upgraded from a free EE iphone 4S which i bought back in December 14 to a Samsung S6 edge.
Same operator. Same number. BUT I can't use it as it shows only "Emergency calls only". I also can't use my former phone as the mobile service has been disabled on it. The salesperson at carphone warehouse said that my contract would run the moment he finished my application (which was midday). SO I have paid for a service which I cannot use. I need my phone for my job.I would like to speak to someone at EE but as I don't have a phone I will have to use my work's phone which I am not allowed to do.
I feel disatisfied, very disatisfied by EE and it's not the first time. They are cheap but It seems that they do everything to disgust you from using them.
    Regards,

    Hi,
Carphone warehouse lied and it is not the first time if you read other peoples posts. EE are not responsible for them and they need to make the request to EE to transfer your account over I suspect to a new sim?
It can also take up to 48 hours at busy times and is obviously from the time CPW make the request.
    Thanks,

  • Check the time of edge server stop working

We have exchange 2010 in our environment. There is an edge role installed in a server. The server was hanged and mail service stopped working. But unfortunately we dont monitor these time.
How can we see the last time the edge server working i.e from when it stopped receiving mail from outside domain.
and what is the reason for server hanged?
NB: The whole time internal domain mail send/receive was ok.
    Setu Bandhan Saha

    Hi
In your event viewer it should give you some indication of when the server stopped responding. It can be due to updates, running out of resources, potential hardware failures.
If possible can u plz tell me where in event viewer(system,security....)

  • Adobe Edge Inspect Chrome Plug In Gray. Stopped Working.

For some reason the plug in for chrome edge inspect stopped working. I am connected to the same wifi, I am signed into creative cloud, Adobe Edge program is on, my devices can find my computer to connect. But the Chrome Icon is grayed out and will not turn on.
I've tried reinstalling. Restarting my computer. Signing into the chome browser as the same user name as my adobe cc account. Nothing has worked so far.
Strange. Was working last week when I tried it. Was there a chrome update or Adobe CC update?

I'm having the same issue. It briefly accused me of having a trial version and recommending downloading Edge Inspect CC, but no dice. Tried similar tactics as the original poster and can connect with two devices, just can't actually use the program.

  • Sound stopped working

    Hi.
    It used to work.
I have problem with sound. Yesterday It does work, but today it stopped working. I'm not sure if it is because of some updates, I haven't noticed anything connected to sound. The only difference is that I uninstalled mplayer2. Then it stopped working - but I'm not sure if it was because of this.
    I tried:
    reinstall alsa, alsa-plugins, alsa-utils, vlc, mplayer2
    install pulseaudio, oss (without configuration)
    reboot
    unmute all chanels in alsamixer
    connecting headphones
    aplay -L

Same for me after system upgrade on 2013-05-01:
    pacmatic -Syu
Since then, no Audio output via HDMI anymore. Mainboard is Intel DH67BL.
Before upgrade, it worked. Audio via normal audio connector also still works.
    $ aplay -D plughw:0,3 /usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Center.wav
Wiedergabe: WAVE '/usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Center.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little Endian, Rate: 48000 Hz, mono
But on the connected (via HDMI) TV is nothing to hear. Video on TV via HDMI works. Checked also alsamixer volume setting.
With this, I hear the sound on the speakers connected with the Mainboard:
    $ aplay /usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Center.wav
Wiedergabe: WAVE '/usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Center.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little Endian, Rate: 48000 Hz, mono
    $ aplay -l

I've read this, but did not help:
    https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ta … chitecture
Here the list of upgraded packages:
    grep 2013-05-01.*pgraded /var/log/pacman.log
    http://pastebin.com/vXjp3Bw4
I also downgraded to the kernel version before upgrade:
    pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/linux-3.7.4-1-i686.pkg.tar.xz
But that did not solve the problem. Also using linux-lts kernel did not help.
I have posted this also on the german Arch Linux board:
