Samsung X495 cell T-mobile SIM can't load java midlets...

Have spent $120 on h'ware & s'ware, plus an eternity of minutes on hold, & can't seem to download jar/jad files to this %^$# phone - don't know if it's T-Mobile's fault (they DO block access to WAP sites) of some deficiency in either the phone or my technique. Using Softick PPP & Samsung's loader.exe - looks good, but fails to load...
Any help would be appreciated...

  • Can't load Java applets in Safari

    Ever since I installed Snow Leopard, Safari can't load Java applets. I get a blue Lego brick with a question mark, and a message telling me that Java was not found.
    Firefox is unaffected, and I get the same error whether Safari is open in 32-bit or 64-bit mode. Programs written in Java, such as Vuze, are unaffected.

    Create another admin user account log into it, and see if the problem persists. If not, the issue's within the original account, usually amongst preference (plist) files. If so, then it's system-wide and reinstalling the 10.6.2 COMBO update, repairing permissions, and restarting should do the trick.

  • My macbook can't load java

    I am surprised to find out that all of a sudden the applet (java) can't load properly.
    Before today, 31 July, I was able to use any website that require java platform and the applet doesn't have any problem loading.  For example, I could go to a bank's website to do internet banking and transfer.  Today, I couldn't.
    I've tried many methods that I've come across in the web community but nothing is helping.
    Please help!
    Julia
    PS: My Macbook's on Lion OS and my iMac on Snow Leopard... both can't load the applet / Java platform.

  • Can't load "java pulse" on gemplus-card but "HelloWorld"

    Hi.
    configuration
    Reader/Writer : GemPC Twin (USB)
    Tool : GemXplore Admin
    Card : Gemplus card
    Cardlet : Helloworld, JavaPulse (from java.sun site)
    I can load "HelloWorld" applet by changing to "HelloWorld.jar" from "HelloWorld.cap"
    I'm still not able to understand why I should change ".cap" to ".jar".
    But, anyway loading of "HelloWorld" on Gem+ card was done.
    The problem is that I can't load "JavaPulse" applet on gem+ card by what I've done for "HelloWorld".
    The Compiling, converting, changing to ".jar" from ".cap" was done in same way such as "HelloWorld"
    The error message is "69 85" (condition of use not satisfied)
    For some detail understanding,
    the steps (SELECT, INITIALIZE UPDATE, EXTERNAL AUTHENTICATE, INSTALL FOR LOAD) are done well but the "LOAD" step is failed at all.
    I hope you to have a good idea for resolving this problem. Thanx.
    Jade.

    Go to this link

    and run what they call a browser tuneup. Looks like they will tell you what you need to know. Safari is supported, depending on what part of WebCT you need.

  • Flex 4.6 IOS Mobile packager - can it load and play swf's dynamically at run time?

    I have an app that shows the viewer slides in a SWFLoader object.  I load the slides at runtime from a remote server.  When I package the app for IOS using 4.6 the swf slides load and play fine in the IOS emulator on the PC.  They don't load, however, when I deploy to a provisioned iPad.
    My guess is that IOS can handle doesn't know what to do with dynamically loaded swf data.  I'm not positive though because it plays in the emulator.  Is that emulator truly emulating xcode or is it running flash?
    Note:  this same app plays an rtmp flash stream just fine even on the device itself.  Just can't handle a dynamically loaded swf.

    The correct answer to this question appears to be that Apple's terms of service *do not* prohibit the loading of swf's on IOS from remote servers dynamically at runtime.  They prohibit the loading of swf's that *contain executable ActionScript code*.
    I loaded a PPT into Adobe Connect and then retrieved the resultant slide swf's from the Connect server.  I took these swf's and loaded them into my iPad app, dynamically at runtime, from a remote server.  The swf's loaded and animations played.  I made no changes to my code.  I'm just using a plain old SWFLoader object.
    Loading swf's dynamically at runtime from remote servers into IOS works - if you make the swf's right.  How to do that I'm not sure.

  • Can I  load Java classes generated by the Web Service Proxy Wizard?

    Hi gurus,
    I am very new to Oracle JDeveloper and I have mainly used it to create and debug PL/SQL procedures. My client app is written in PowerBuilder 11 (Sybase), which claims that it will create a datawindow from a web service. Well, it turned out that PB can only handle simple stuff (it works with a very simple wsdl from the internet) but can't handle more complex ones that we need to use. So I am thinking about using JDev to create the web service proxy for the web service and then load it into Oracle as a Java stored procedure so that PowerBuilder can call the procedure. JDev succsfully generated the proxy and a few Java classes. My question is, do I need to load all the classes into the database? If yes, will the reference to the package work? For example, in a JDev generated class (the soap client class), it has package MyJdev.proxy; at the top. Or, will it work if I load all the classes included in package /MyJdev/proxy into the database?
    Thank you very much for any help.
    Ben

    Thanks again, Bruce.
    What I meant by SOAPElement is that one genereated Java class has this and this class also has the setter for this like this,
    public void setSelection(javax.xml.soap.SOAPElement selection) {
    this.selection = selection;
    And here is the whole class,
    public class CaseSearchByPartyRequest implements java.io.Serializable {
    protected java.lang.String schemaVersion;
    protected java.util.Calendar messageProducedDateTime;
    protected javax.xml.soap.SOAPElement selection;
    protected Restriction restriction;
    public CaseSearchByPartyRequest() {
    public java.lang.String getSchemaVersion() {
    return schemaVersion;
    public void setSchemaVersion(java.lang.String schemaVersion) {
    this.schemaVersion = schemaVersion;
    public java.util.Calendar getMessageProducedDateTime() {
    return messageProducedDateTime;
    public void setMessageProducedDateTime(java.util.Calendar messageProducedDateTime) {
    this.messageProducedDateTime = messageProducedDateTime;
    public javax.xml.soap.SOAPElement getSelection() {
    return selection;
    public void setSelection(javax.xml.soap.SOAPElement selection) {
    this.selection = selection;
    public Restriction getRestriction() {
    return restriction;
    public void setRestriction(Restriction restriction) {
    this.restriction = restriction;
    this.selection is the request that I think I need. And here is the static main method of the soap client class genereated.
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    try {
    MyJdev.proxy.SoapClient myPort = new MyJdev.proxy.SoapClient();
    System.out.println("calling " + myPort.getEndpoint());
    // Add your own code here
    } catch (Exception ex) {
    ex.printStackTrace();
    So, if I need to send the request to the web service, do I need to create the request, correct? I have done it through AQ and Messaging Gateway and works fine by manually creating the request xml in PL/SQL, but now I need to get it to work sychronously from the UI. I believe that I need the request (SOAPElement) because that is the only way that I can supply the parameters. I have not see any setters for the parameters other than some setters for user name and password.
    Did I get something wrong here? If I don't supply the "selection", will JDev do it?
    Thanks.

  • Can't load java applet? help please?

    I am trying to load a java applet after an upgrade - but security settings are blocking it - please help

    Java is no longer supported on Mac OS X 10.6.    The security of Java has been found to be so bad, you are lucky to get any Apps that work wtih it.    You need a minimum of Mac OS X 10.7.3 to run the latest Java applets and that using Java from http://www.java.com/  See the user tip here to optimize Java under 10.6.8

  • Can't load java on my mac air book

    Has anyone else had a problem loading the Java app onto the mac airbook?  I need it to use a budget system and have done the software updates and downloaded the app and it still say that I need to load it.  Help please????

    You shouldn't need to download anything for Mac OS X as it ships with Java2 inbuilt. Install the developer tools that came with your OS X disc (assuming you want to use this environment to write your code) and away you go.

    I changed out my old cell phone for a Motorola zoom and now the zoom has my old phone number associated with it's sim card. I just purchased a Samsung Android cell phone and would like to trade the sim from my new to cell to the zoom so I can have my old cell phone number back. The problem is the sim cards are different sizes. Is this something I can take to a store and get switched out?

    SRCLARK,
    Great question! You can go to the store and get a replacement SIM card at the store. Any corporate store will be more than happy to help replacing your card. http://bit.ly/3SdsA

  • Can I use my Samsung A740 Cell as a Broadband Modem on my Powerbook?

    K...I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right area. Anyway, here it goes. I've got a 12" G4 Powerbook (unhappily 14 days before they released the new one with the built in iSight) and I've been toying with my Samsung A740 Cell Phone and a Data Cable...Well, i can download and upload everyting using BitPim and it seems to work pretty good. I got to thinking...since this only has WiFi and doesn't have a card slot for a broadband wireless card, I thought I'd try using the cell phone. The system seems to 'see' the phone...it adds Samsung CDMA to the Locations preferance and the phone screens say that it's synced to PC and shows the little icons. Well, that's as far as I can get...I can't find anything on neither the Samsung site, Time Warner, or the Sprint site on what I need to do. I have no idea what settings I need to change on the phone or what to set on the Powerbook. I think I'll have to call Sprint and try to figure something out. I thought it would be great to be able to quickly access email or the internet on the Powerbook while away from WiFi. Anyway, any tips or info would be great.
    Thanks much...

    Yes. I've got data services. No one from Sprint will tell me a single thing. Samsung actually replied to me telling me that it's not possible and that I shouldn't even be able to read anything form the phone. Hmmm...As usual, it will take some hacking to get it working, because I've downloaded BitPim and I'm able to retrieve everything from the phone. That's when the PowerBook automatically sets up the Samsung under the Locations settings as "Samsung CDMA". It says that it's set up but not connected. Oh well, I've got the JiWire widget WiFi finder and I seem to be able to find hot spots all over. Just thought I'd give this a try.

  • How can i install my t-mobile sim card to iphone 4

    how can i install my t-mobile sim card to an unlocked iphone 4 gsm i got for Christmas?

    Power off the phone. Use a paper clip to pop out the Sim Tray. Insert a Micro-SIM from T-Mobile or a regular SIM cut down to size. Re-insert the SIM tray. Turn the phone back on.
    Keep in mind that 3G data, Visual Voice Mail, MMS messaging, and FaceTime will NOT function correctly on T-Mobile in the US. Some people report getting MMS to work, but you'll need to contact T-Mobile for assistance. T-Mobile in the US is NOT a supported carrier. Their network is not fully compatible with the iPhone.

  • Can a family mobile sim card can fit in a iphone 4s

    can a family mobile sim card work in a iphone 4s

    The ip4S uses a micro sim.  If the phone is unlocked you should be able to insert sim on any network

  • I have a local carrier number, if i by a contract-free iPhone 6 can i swap the T-mobile sim that will be in the phone with my local carrier sim? in other words, IS the contract-free iphone also unlocked so it can be used with any carrier?

    The T-mobile phone is advertised to be SIM-free.  This does NOT mean unlocked.  Unlocked iPhone 6's are not yet for sale in the US.

    Can I purchase an IPhone 5 that is factory unlocked, so that I can insert my t-mobile sim card and use it on my service from the apple store?

    Not in the US, at the present time. Apple has not started selling officially unlocked iPhone 5's in the US, & has not announced when they will.
