SAP 2005-2007 UDO Problem

Dear All,
We had nearly 10 UDO with respective tables in SAP 2005. After up gradation from 2005 to 2007 all tables and UDO
Successfully upgraded to 2007. All documents getting generated except one document. Itu2019s asked for generating new numbering series. But we are not able to generate numbering series for that document. All my add-ons tasks totally sopped because of that document. Any help / suggestion will be highly helpful to me.

Problem while changing decimal places in SAP B1 2007

Hi Experts,
I want change the decimal places of Quantity type fields from 2 decimal places to 4 decimal places. But while changing it in Genral settings form ,it shows the error message "Cannot update while another user is connected to the company". it is working in SAP B1 2005B but not in SAP B1 2007
Please help me if you have any solution on this issue..

Please see SAP Note 1247060 as is discusses the fact that this did work in 2005, but the behavior was changed in version 2007 ...

After I got this error I upgraded the Kernel from patch level 159 to 179,
After that I restarted the update again but the system is still running on u201CIMPORT_PROPERu201D and dose not given any update,
From Import logs of the queue I can see the following,

Here is an outline of series of events that happened:-
We are applying in support packages in SAP R/3 4.6C HR Development
(TFI) environment. We planned with installing all the SP stacks
starting from 1 to 9.
-Updated kernel, tp , r3trans and SPAM level to latest level.
We received the following error in Import_Proper step of Support
package upgrade. Though the step has been repeated after making sure
that we have all the required files at OS level, we go this error
repeatedly.

While playing around I have deleted the transport from the tp buffer
and added manually, before doing so I made a backup of tp buffer at OS
level and I got following error though I reverted back to backed-up
copy.
- Error in phase: IMPORT_PROPER
- Reason for error: TP_BUFFER_INCONSISTENCY
- Return code: 0008
- Error message: Wrong sequence of Packages in the tp buffer (e.g.
SAPKB46C52 )
I then tried to disassemble the package separately and reran the
import queue. Now I have RC 8 on that support package.
When I did R3trans -l on the datafile it completed successfully.
D:\>R3trans -l \usr\sap\trans\data\RB46C52.SAP
This is R3trans version 6.05 (release 46D - 27.10.08 - 16:32:00).
R3trans finished (0000).
I verified the size of file "CSR0120031469_0023301.PAT" and it is the
same as mentioned in SSP.
Let us know is there is a workaround.

Problem logging in SAP B1 2007 SP00 PL30

Hi all.
One of our SAP users is having a problem in logging in to SAP B1 2007.
Last time, the user can login to SAP by just keying the correct username and password. Now, the user will get an error message when she try to login to SAP using the same username and password. When I go to Change Company, I found the Current Server has changed to (local) instead of my server.
The user can login to SAP by changing to the correct server and type the sa login ID and password. How am I going to make it for the SAP server to recognize the user and make her login to SAP without her to keying in the sa login ID and password?
I have tried to uninstall SAP and reinstall the SBO client from the user but to no avail.

Thanks for your advice. I have already tested it at the user's computer but still the same problem happened..
All the while, the user also use the X to close the program but she didn't face this problem at that time. How come all of a sudden she cannot directly login to the SAP without changing the correct server and key in the sa password?

I am using one addon in sap business one 2005. It is working absolutly fine. but when I run it on sap b1 2007 it terminates automatically when opens any user created form. I tries to trace the exception but not detected.... Is there any help.....

functionally & technically so many changing happened in 2007 .
1. In 2007 company connection happened via UI .
2. update some table fields.
3. Add some new logic's
So it is not sure that which add-on is working in 2005 it should be worked in 2007.
but in many case it will be working.
but it will be goo if u run ur application in debug mode & compile it & then create ard .
and then deploy in b1.

SAP B1 2007 Add-On Removal Problem

I am using SAP B1 2007 on Windows Vista. I've been testing our Add-On module. When running our installer, an error occurred, which left the Add-On in an unusable state, since the installation had not finished. When I attempted to removed our Add-On, it does not go away. It remains in the Company Add-On list, even after I select 'Remove Add-On' and perform the 'Update'.
I am now stuck. I have no way to remove our Add-On and no way to re-install it since B1 thinks it's already installed.
Is there anyway out of this trap besides scrubbing my B1 install and starting over?

hello Mark,
Try to see add/remove programs, to check whether the addon is still listed or exists there.
Actually, you must restart SAP B1 client after remove the addon at the first time.
Another solution is to restart license server and then remove the addon again. Do not remove addon from add/remove program.

Moving Add on from SAP 2005 to SAP 2007

when i tried to execute it in SAP2007 , it is well installed but after my first event it crash! and i have to reexecute it!
it work well in SAP 2005, i tried to catch the error but it seam well done and there is no catch error in all the process, may some body help me please?

It will depend on which Addon's you are referring. Certain Addon only apply to certain localizations while others are common to both A and B.
Example: Outlook integration would work for both A and B, while the Fixed Asset add-on might not be applicable to all localization within A or B. It all depends.

SAP B1 8.8 - Problem with Down Payments to draw

Hi All,
i need your help to understand what's the problem with import of Down Payments.
I have a procedure that imports down payments related to invoices.
My problem is that the procedure was working fin on SAP B1 2005-2007, but now in 8.8 i'm experiencing troubles.
In 8.8 they introduced the downpaymentstodrawdetails object. I'm trying to use this object, but i don't know how i have to set it to close the down payments connected to invoices.
Let's say that i have 2 down payments related to an invoice.
Let's suppose that those down payments are 1000 and 2000 euros.
I'm importing and invoice of 3000 that has the two downpayments related.
Then for each downpayments i fill the docentry property with the docentry of the invoice and populate amount to draw.
When adding that invoice i should have the down payments connected to the invoice (and i got it) and they shouldn't be visible anymore in opened downpayments. this second thing doesn't happen, because i've seen that on INV9 AND INV11, reference to the invoice aren't saved. I've seen on help of SDK that the object downpaymentstodrawdetails has the property "DocEntry", but it's readonly.
My code looks like this:

UPDATE: i discovered that this happens only if i create my Document as Draft. If i create it as real document, it works fine!

Friend, I have UDO named UDO1, From code where I am trying to insert value in this UDO, I am getting a run time exeception in following line

Exception is :
Exception is: System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt. at SAPbobsCOM.CompanyServiceClass.GetGeneralService(String sServiceCode).
Note: Same code is running very well in SAP B1 other Versions-8.8. and 8.81. Error is generating in only SAP B1 2007 version.

Dunning Letter on Receivables Aging SAP B1 2007

You run the customer receivables aging report and double click a row on receivables aging report window. You highlight one row, there is no letter checkbox compare to SAP 2005 A. There is no Dunning Letter PLD as well. Therefore dunning letter report cannot be previewed.
Does this letter checkbox and dunning letter PLD is not available in SAP 2007 A?

SAP CRM 2007 - How to Access a Table from one view to another via ABAP BSP

Hi experts, I need your help.
I am working in SAP CRM 2007 developing code modifiying views using transaction "BSP_WD_CMPWB" and my problem is the following:
After the "Account Identification" process I go to "Create Case" and click in "Complaints" option in the navigation bar.
Here there are several views involved, like "General data" and "Parties involved"
"General data" belongs to the component "BT126H_CALL" and the name of the view is "SCDetails.htm"
"Parties involved" belongs to the component "BTPARTNER" and the name of the view is "Partner.htm"
The "Partner.htm" view has a table that is displayed using a "<chtmlb:configTable . . . table = "//BTPartner/Table" instruction.
I need to acces the table "//BTPartner/Table" that belongs to "Partner.htm" in the view "SCDetails.htm" and add data into it.
How can I do that ?
Add the data in the view "Partner.htm" itself is very simple, I am using the "EH_ONINSERT" method but I have not idea how to do that from "SCDetails.htm".

Hi,
as I understand from your question you would like to add a partner to the complaint document.
The complaint document is a 1Order document and has the root genil node named BTOrder. Using the genil relationships you have to get the BTPartnerSet and then the right Partner Relationship.
You will find a lot of information in the newsgroup on how to do this by doing a search.
But a quick help would be to use the sapgui transaction genil_model_browser, component set ONEORDER and using the tree structure navigate from the BTOrder root node to the Partner set.

Partial display of large Alert message - SAP CRM 2007.

Hi,
I am using SAP CRM 2007.
I created a simple alert with 150 char message in IC which will be triggered on confirmation of an account.
The alert gets displayed on the IC agent screen but he can only see partial message of the alert.
Only the message that can come in the first line gets displayed. There is no option to scroll to see the remaining message.
Please suggest how can user see the complete alert message. Can the alert text area be controlled by some customization?

You can create reports in Excel for Business One using XL Reporter. This is an add-on which allows you to build custom reports, and comes included with the 2007 A version. It is also available as a download for the 2005 version.

If you have any specific questions about XLR, it would be best to post them in the Business One forum rather than the SDK forum as SDK consultants may not have as much experience with XLR.

Please read the documents. You will download the standard jar, use an IDE like Eclipse to build the exits and then upload again. You will also do configuration to maintain the exits you have created. Read the document.
Refer to these Notes and they give details about IPC AP 7.0 intialization, configuration and creating the IPC Java exits.
