SAP 2007 - Background Image

I want to post a background image (.gif or .jpg) for all to see when they log on to SAP, but I am the only one to see it when I log on. How can I allow users to see the gif / jpg image when they log on?

Hi Nate
Is the picture in a shared folder on a server? If so, check the user permissions to the shared folder. Try also to log on as another user and set the background picture with that user name and see if the picture loads when they log on.
Let me know the result.
Kind regards

  • MS Word Background image not converting

    I have Microsoft Word 2007 & Acrobat Pro 9. I created a document in Word, and that doc has a background image. However, when I try to convert it to a PDF, one of two things happens: 1) the PDF is created with no background image, or 2) the background image is reduced in size & tiled in repeating rows in the background. Neither of these is acceptable! I've tried the following:
    From in Word -->Print-->Acrobat PDF
    From Acrobat -->Create PDF-->From File
    From Word -->Save As-->PDF
    From Acrobat-->set background image
    This is quite frustrating, since I don't want to re-do everything in Photoshop just to render the PDF properly. I set the image as a background in Word because I want it to cover the whole 8.5"x11" space without any margins. The image is a 95 dpi JPG sized at 8.5"x11"

    You may need to check Acrobat and be sure you have Display Large Images selected. If that is not the issue, it may be a setting in your print options of WORD. Programs like WORD and PPT often have the default set to not print background images because they use so much toner in a regular printer. Since you are using a digital printer that option is not needed.

  • Background Image not visible in a PDF report

    Hi Experts!
    I create a WORD 2007 template for BI Publisher 11g. I use a background image.
    When I test the template locally as a PDF, the background image is visible, but when I open the Report with the BI Publisher, there is no image.
    Has anyone an idea?
    Regards Norbert

    The size of the images was too big after compressing it. It worked fine.

  • How to set tray's background image in the custom page layout?

    Hi all,
    I've developed custom page layout with custom iView tray implementation. I've applied my layout into my page and added some iViews. Those iViews are URL isolated so they are rendered as an iframe. My problem is that an iframe background containing iView content overcast my background image which I have set in my iView tray implementation. Is it possible to set transparent background for an iframe in this scenario?
    I would be grateful for helpful answers.
    Best Regards,
    Michał M.

    Hi Tamil,
    That's right, I've already used layout tag library do develop custom tray design but my problem concerns iView's isolation method . URL isolation renders iView's content in an iframe which has its own background. I've read some articles about getting transparent iframes but I'm not sure how could I achive this in SAP EP? Is it possible?
    Best Regards,
    Michal M.

    Hi Debasis,
    This is a general Flex UI collection renderer setting
    for the Collection Renderer Settings Group:
    rndBgImagePath
    Look here:

    For a specific folder you could even set this using
    the folder's details under Presentation Settings >
    Additional Parameters.

  • CSS background images

    Hello all.
    Newbie here, asking if it is possible for a user to
    change/replace background images through Contribute CS3 that are
    called by CSS stylesheet? All images are setup this way and I don't
    want to have to use tables just so they can be able to change
    images. Any suggestion or assistance is greatly appreciated.

    Yes, I recently ran into a similar problem!
    2 workaround I like...
    a) simply put the image file into your image directory and reference it using /i/image.jpg etc.
    b) use this whitepaper by John:
    http://jes.blogs.shellprompt.net/2007/05/18/apex-delivering-pages-in-3-seconds-or-less/
    And make a file download script that you can use - works very well for me!

  • Why are my background images not showing up?

    The table is split into two, and I want 2 background images
    sitting in them so I can write type over them (which is already
    there).
    I know how to do this with divs, but have never done it to a
    table (I no longer use tables for web page layout).
    The two images are supposed to be at the bottom of this page
    behind "Robert R. Smith, Jr. - Rock Drummer" and "Contact Me".
    What have I done wrong and how do I make these two images
    appear?

    You're mixing up HTML and CSS code. Your code:
    <td width="125"
    background-image="url(../images/bottom_art_right.jpg)"
    style="padding-top: 90px;">
    Should be either:
    <td width="125"
    background="../images/bottom_art_right.jpg" style="padding-top:
    90px;">
    Or (my preference):
    #leftblock {
    background-image : url(../images/bottom_art_right.jpg);
    style="padding-top: 90px;
    <td id="leftblock">

  • Template loses background image from body

    When I open a self created template page (all regions editable) I lose the background image from body. Everything else loads fine.
    First time I'm trying the template option.

    I made a change to the root folder today when I noticed DK2011 was caps and possibly not prooper protocol so I created a new folder which was captured in previous post now known as dksite.
    Here is another pic with my root folder and you can see templates and images open with the background image showing which is the_voice_mansiongood.jpg.
    The background image comes up in the dkmainpage tempate but does not show in a new page created from the parent template.
    Here's the code from dkmainpage template (parent) below.
    I fear I'm making things insanely confusing.
    Here's code to parent template dkmainpage template.

  • Can't change background image

    Hi guys
    I am using NWBC for desktop 4.0 and can open transaction UI5/THEME_DESIGNER and all is great.
    2 issues though
    1. when i navigate top my index page (as a copy of sap corbu) i click on background image and I get the popup with the 2 squares (one for + image and one for 'No Image'  I drag a gif or a jpg file to the + square and I get error "File Reader undefined"
    2. I can change the background colour, text colour etc and save as draft and then publish - the publish seems to work (get green tick and sucess message) and then i enter THEME_NAME in the NAME field of table NWBC_CFG and then in the VALUE field I enter Copyofsap_corbu (which is the THEME_ID i see on the publish popup but on restarting I don't see any background colour change or anything.
    Am i missing something here ???
    Many thansk in advance

    Dear Silvia,
    That note released just 1 month before I think. And that solved my problem.
    Actually there are some other notes also we implemented prior to this note.
    Here I will copy paste some imp conversation from SAP Support Team. Hope it helps to you.
    "we strongly recommend to implement the latest notes for the UI theme
    designer, please see SAP Note 1852401.
    In your system the version 1.2.0 of Theme Designer should  be updated
    to version 1.2.2 . Please implement the Note 2010406.
    After implementation of the note, please try again to load NWBC
    Previews."
    "As I thought the NWBC previews pages have a small issue which was
    corrected in SP09 ( your system is currently on SP08 -
    SAPK-74008INSAPUI). For this reason the parameters for NWBC pages
    could not be loaded in theme designer and you see quick and expert as
    empty."
    "please apply note 1986795 once it is released. This should fix your
    issue."
    "I found the weak part in the code that is responsible for truncating
    the theme data and created a correection for that. SAP note: 2051350
    Please import this note into your system and then rerun your scenario.
    If this does not solve the scenario please feel free to reopen this
    message."
    " update the note 2051350 and added the manual activity of
    creating a data type in transaction SE11 according to the screenshot
    that you attached."
    "Please download the note in its new version 2, process the manual
    activity, and then import the automatic code correction of the note."
    "could you please implement the note 1990723 into your system and
    retest it again.
    If you still should  experience problems re-open this message."
    "We try to find a problem and give you a solution asap, but in your
    scenario are involved more as one software component ( ABAP, SAPUI5,
    ThemeDesigenr, NWBC, etc.) which should coordinated and works
    together. Moreover the individual setting in your system bring more
    complexity what needs a time. Sorry for that.
    The problem for a now is obviously somewhere in HTTP Configuration,
    instead of cache token the system send in a background the logon page
    (see attachment).
    And I would like to ask you to implement again one note 2021480."
