SAP 2007B Installation

Hi,
While installing the SAP 2007B server i am coming across these Message
1)Cannot Create Database and Immediately after i am getting the Message...give below
127.0.0.1\SBO_SHR\B1is\apps\PaymentEngine Neither share folder B1_SHR nor SBO_SHR exist...
And it showing the Installation Failed...
pls suggest me to resolve this issue...

Hi,
The error occurs because the Windows platform is not supported on the
current B1 version.
According to SAP Business One supported platform, Windows 2000 is not
supported for Business One 2007.

Problem with services of SAP after installation of ABAP on MS SQL server

I am trying top install 2004 Netweaver ABAP+ JAVA on my machine
Following is my machine configuration -
Machine type - Windows 2003 Standard Edition SP1
Machine name - pun-idmqa-vm1
SAP Instance name - QSA
DB type - MS SQL 2000 SP4 + hotfixes and instcoll.exe is executed. After nstalling SQL shows server proper as SQL_Latin1_General_CP850_BIN2 collation
Message port - 3600
I could sucessfully install Database from CD and thereby could sucessfully install ABAP. During postinstall I tried to start the server. all the following services got up -
msg_server.exe
disp+work.exe
igswd.exe
But after some time 2nd service goes down. Following is the error message flashed in

How to add the distribution rule at AR Invoice in SAP 2007B PL10

       I want to add the default distribution rules of each item at marketing documents via DI API when item's warehouse changed? Now, I'm using the SAP 2007B PL 10.

             When add the Itemcode, default warehouse and costing codes (Profit Center) are automatically asign by SAP.
When change the warehouse for this Itemcode, the costing codes(Profit Center) are disappear. I don't want to disappear the costing codes, that's why I try to resign the default costing codes when the warehouse change.
            At SAP 2005, easily access the screen matrix in the marketing document and add the required values in each costing codes columns. But SAP 2007, all costing codes are combined in 1 col and those have the other screen.
          Do you have any idea to control the costing codes?

Hi Shashi
In SAP Business One the Main Budget Scenario is used for budget restrictions, etc. It is the first and only one you HAVE to create. Other scenarios are then for "what if" usage, etc. You can create as many scenarios as you want and select the various scenarios in your budget report.
From your question I am assuming that the Main Budget (for example) has been populated and you want to revise this budget. The choice would be to keep the Main budget intact and add another scenario called Revised. But remember that if budget checking is turned on, it will only check against Main Budget. For this reason, any changes should be made direct to the Main Budget if they are to impact budget checking.

Freight Setup in SAP 2007B

Dear all,
I was using SAP 2007A where there is a treeview node named 'Freight' under Administration->Setup->General.
I did not see the same option in SAP 2007B. Is there any setup/setting that needs to be done to enable this option in the treeview ?

Hi Adrian....
Go to Administration> System Initialisation> Document Setting--> General Tab.
At the botton there are sevel check boxes. Here you find the Manage Freight in Documents.....
Just Tick that it will enable in Marketing docs...

SAP 2007B: PIS / COFINS Variables aren`t implemented as PLD Variables at SO

At SAP 2007B, the PIS and COFINS Variables are not implemented as PLD Variables at Sales Orders.
I needed to print these values and created a message at SAP Portal (#1052007), where they told me to post this suggestion here in this forum. Is it possible?

The prerequisite for SAP XI installation are
1> You just require to have a WAS (WEB APPLICATION SERVER 6.40 ) installed with a ABAP stack as well as java stack.
2> You need to have a SLD installed.It can be on same or different system.
Its better if you follow the Master installable.
If you are installing XI 2004s it asks you for all the options in a sequence , for which all components you wish to install(eg. XI or MI etc) on your WAS.

i had uninstalled once, and renamed the SAP DB to run the installtion only to find the above mentioned error.

Please specify which installation your are doing otherwise it is difficult to provide you
the correct path.
For eg if you are doing NW04's installation then path will be
downloads->entry by application group->Installations and Upgrades->SAP NetWeaver-> SAP NETWEAVER-> SAP NETWEAVER 2004S->according to OS/DB (there is oracle client cd)select the cd.

SAP BPC installation - Errors during setup in the create database step

Hi! I have a real big problem installing SAP BPC. It's a Microsoft multi-server installation.
I've got two servers: 1) the database server with the SQL Database and Analysis Server 2) the application server with all the rest.
I log on and I installed everything on the servers with a specific domain user: this user is administrator on both servers and even on SQL Server.
My problem occours when I execute the "SAP BPC setup" on the application server: during the "create database" step I receive two errors:
first error pop-up:
Error ([SQL-DMO]This cache contains no result sets, or the current result set contains no rows.)
second error pop-up:
System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Cannot open database "ApShell" requested by the login. The login failed. Login failed for user MyDomain\MyUser
After the SAP BPC setup:
- in the SQL Database Engine the ApShell database was created
- nothing for ApShell was created in Analysis Sever
- in the Even Viewer of the database server I've got this error: Login failed for user 'MyDomain\MyUser'.
It's very strange because if from the application server, using "SQL Server Management Studio" (always with 'MyDomain\MyUser'), I connect to the database server: I can login, create and delete databases on the SQL Database Engine and even on Analysis Server without any sort of problem.
To complete my status, I can say you Analysis Sever is on the default port. I use SQL Server 2005 and I even tryed to reinstall it and SAP BPC but nothing change.
At this point I checked these two topics on this forum:

Problem during BPC installation
1) At first I tryied this solution:
Into multiserver installation guide is specified that actually in case of multiserver environment you have to copy apshell.db9 file from installation kit into db server. Into a drive from where SQL server is able to read when you are doing restore with Management Studio.
During the installation you have to go into advance options and to specified the path (local path from db server where you did the copy of apshell.db9).
but nothing change: the "SAP BPC setup" problem I have still persists.
2) Then I tryed this workaround:
If so, you can try a "restore appset" from server manager. Rename the Apshell.db9 file (or copy it) and name it Apshell.bak
During server manager restore, point only to the Apshell.bak file. Server Manager will tell you that webfolders and filedb files are missing, but it found the webfolders and filedb (again, only if the original bpc installation successfully created those folders)- and then it will try to restore Apshell.
That may work in spite of whatever problem is keeping the installation program from performing the same tasks.
but the "restore database" fails > I've got the error written in red: OLAP database - fail
What can I do to solve the problem? If it is necessary, I can reinstall SQL Server and SAP BPC but I need to know the way to solve the setup error.

Thanx very much to everyone for the kind support. Unfortunatly, my problem persists.
- SQL server is EE.
- I installed SQL server (including SSAS) using MyDomain\MyUser.
- MyDomain\MyUser is windows administrator on both servers.
- MyDomain\MyUser is SQL Server and SSAS administrator.
- SSAS service is running under the same service account than the SQL Service.
- All my MSSQL services runs as Local System.
- I'm installing SAP BPC using MyDomain\MyUser.
- I also checked the SSAS service account specific rights to the SSAS data folders.
SAP BPC installation still fails exactly as above (popup errors during SAP BPC setup, no ApShell etc. etc).
In the database server, windows event viewer errors after the unsuccessful installation are:
1) SOURCE: MSSQLSERVER
Failure Audit: Login failed for user MyDomain\MyUser
2) SOURCE: MSSQLSERVER
BackupDiskFile::OpenMedia: Backup device 'MyPath' failed to open. Operating system error 5(Access is denied.).
As regard as point 1: The Failure Audit error into the event viewer happens only during SAP BPC installation. Otherwise it is always Success Audit.
Also, as I told you, if from the application server I connect with SQL Server console to SSAS, located on the database server, using MyDomain\MyUser: I can create delete SSAS dbs without any sort of problem.
For point 2:
I tried 4 differents SAP BPC installations as follows:
- to go into advance options and to specified the path (local path from db server where I did the copy of apshell.db9).
- to go into advance options and to specified the path (local path from application server where is the copy of apshell.db9).
- to go into advance options and to specified the path (network path of a share folder with apshell.db9 and permissions to everyone)

but every time nothing change: the "SAP BPC setup" problem I have during my initial post still persists. In the same way I written at the beginning of the topic.
I don't know how to solve it.

SAP HA Installation - Windows 2012 with Sybase

Dear All,
I have just started the SAP HA Installation with Sybase Database on Sybase, but I am facing an issue in the First Cluster node installation.
First Cluster Node( Last error reported by the step: Windows system error message: 5942. Message: 'The resource failed to come online due to the failure of one or more provider resources. '.). You can now:
Cluster Even Logs -
Cluster network name resource 'SAP SBP NetName' failed to create its associated computer object in domain '***-co.com' during: Resource online.
The text for the associated error code is: Access is denied.
Please work with your domain administrator to ensure that:
- The cluster identity '***-PRD$' has Create Computer Objects permissions. By default all computer objects are created in the same container as the cluster identity '***-PRD$'.
- The quota for computer objects has not been reached.
- If there is an existing computer object, verify the Cluster Identity '***-PRD$' has 'Full Control' permission to that computer object using the Active Directory Users and Computers tool.
