How to add a check box in ALV Grid using SAP R/3 release 4.6b?

Hello everyone,
I hope you all fine.
I'm writing because I have a requirement with ALV Grid, what I need to do, is to insert a checkbox into a cell, I already read the forum to know how to do that, but I'm using a SAP R/3 release 4.6b, and when I execute the program the checkbox is displayed greyout, because this release doesn't have the EDIT property into the slis_t_fieldcat_alv.
Does any body know how to enable the checkbox cell in the ALV Grid for this release?, so it will allow the user to mark the desired rows.
I'll really appreciate if you guys could help me to find a solution.

Hi,
if you need just a check box for each line, try to get rid of this line from your layout.
g_layout-box_fieldname = 'ZZCHECK'.
SAP uses this field to store info about selected lines. Hence you click on the second check box, you select different line and the first line is erased. You can select more line by holding SHIFT + CTRL

SAP PS budget release problem

We are following MTO scenario and we are releasing SAP Project with save of Sales Order.
Later we are assigning(CJ30) and releasing(CJ32) budget in SAP Project, with budget release System status "NBUD" replaced with System status "BUD". But, some times SAP is not removing this "NBUD" tick. And later when user try to release PR or perform any other transaction they face error message for system status "NBUD".
You all are requested to suggest solution for this error.

Hi,
First understand the term availability control by going through SAP help and finalize when you want to activate the AVAC against your project.
AVAC can be activaed by 3 ways
1. Automatic activation during budget allocation in CJ30
2. Budget release through CJ32
3. Manual activation / background activation
Now in your case you are doing planning by using the activities i.e. 100000 now this is plan cost for your WBS / project.
If you have planned this cost for interal activity by using resources then it is REM. If you have PR then this commitment
now in this case system is updated Assigned value for the WBS / project as 100000
Assigned value = Commitment + REM + Actual
Now if your AVAC activation during budget allocation through CJ30 - syem will check that your budget value is equal or more than asigned value otherwise will thorw error i.e 100000 or more than 100000
If your AVAC activation is during budget release then your release value shoul be same or more than the assigned value otherwise will thorw error i.e 100000 or more than 100000
You can do the partial alocation of budget or release budget if you dont have any assigned values present in the system or have less than the project / WBS budget.

SAP BW Environment - What documentation is needed to support it?

I am currently working on an existing SAP BW system, but there is no documentation at all for it. We need to create appropriate documentation to enable easier understanding of the environment going forward.
However, what type of detailed documentation would be needed to fully support an SAP BW environment.
I assume we'd need to create the following types of documents...
- Architecture Overview
- Blueprint / Technical Spec
- Query Spec
- Authorisations & Security Document
...but have I missed anything??

MB_DOCUMENT_BADI - SAP R/3 release upgrade from 4.7.1 to ECC 6

Once finished upgrading from SAP R/3 4.7.1 to SAP ECC 6, from SPAU I see that there was no problem on the implementations of this BAdI. But when I tried the transaction, where this BAdi was implemented in, I realized that my implementations were not working. In addition, from SE19, I see that these implementations are active, so why they aren't working?
I think that there are some problem in BAdI implementations when upgrading SAP release, but I don't know how to solve my problem and turn on my implementations.

Hi Sunny,
i continued with the option - without ADD ON.
So, this mount point and ADD ON dvd issues are over.
In the next screen, i have to specify the xml file and place the packages under EPS/in. I have done that accordingly and now i get a new error - No matching SAINT package for 'SAP_APPL' found.
Any ideas where i have done wrong?

SAP Gui - no ABAP documentation appearing

Hi,
Im facing problem with my SAP GUI.
Im not able to see documentation. When I see 'F1' help for any object, a blank window appears.
Also in SE80 (Object Navigator), the areaa where we can enter objects is coming as blank. Im not able to enter objects in SE80.
Can anybody helpme.

SAP F&R: Release Order Proposals automatically

I am not able to find the necessary SPRO Customizing settings in SAP F&R 5.1 wherein I can define the order proposals to be released immediately after the forecasting run. It would be great if someone would be able to guide me through.

You need to work on Exception management to supress some messages , Further more there are some standard inbuilt checks which we cannot bypass through configuration. I would suggest you to use BADI -Method FU_OPM_BADI_001_CHECK_ORDER.

SAP help for release-dependent modifications

Hi,
I like to know the addition features of ABAP depending on the Version. I know you can find them in the SE80 using the F1-help. Unfortuantely I don't have a system with current release level available at the moment.
Is there another possibility to access this F1-help provided within the ABAP-Editor in order to receive all necessary information on release updates.

I could not find the ABAP f1-help for the command which might in clude the release changes. Does anybody have an idea where to find it.

As we know this is standard sap as the PO release strategy can configure on PO net price not any other prices e.g. effective price etc.
