Hello Brian, We recently had a not-so-positive and then a positive experience with technical customer service. Out of the blue, we received messages that my daughter was at 75% of her data usage. She has 2 GB and has had that for 2 years without ever, ever going over. First call got us to Brian, who was very rude and simply said that Verizon is never responsible for the charges on a cell phone – it is always the customer’s fault. So, I asked for a Supervisor, which got me Thomas. Unfortunately Thomas had no clue and tried to tell that the charges were due to the update ESO8. Our phone had ESO7 and we didn’t update. He again was not helpful as he basically didn’t understand or want to. Then we got Annabell at Apple. She was very nice and talked me through the issue and possible problems with using that much data in basically 8 days. She then called Holly at Verizon who actually looked at the schedule of data usage and determined it to be downloads on specific days at specific times. Times like 16:48:57 to 17:48:57 – no one has conversations or uses data like that, but a download will. And downloads, of course, didn’t happen on wi-fi. Holly was wonderful. Helped us clean up the phone as we couldn’t tell exactly what was downloaded. Floated us 3 more GB of data until 10/8 when we go back to 2 GB. Jeff and Thomas should never be allowed to talk to your customers again. I was on the phone 2 full hours. If I felt I had a choice I would drop Verizon in a heartbeat. Shame on them. That’s it. Building an online resume, got a question
Hi y'all, I've got to build an online art resume very quickly for before I meet with some clients soon. Are there any free "plug and play" type flash templates out there that are already set up and I could just add photos of my work? I'm looking to get something together that will hopefully be a little dazzling and professional without having to take up a million years of my time, which I need to work on art. Any suggestions?
You can steal whatever you like but I'm not gonna tell you to go ahead and do so or even hint ways of doing so--and I'm not suggesting you have such ill intent.
What's available for free is what you need to find if you can't afford to pay. Some things are worth paying for (is your reluctance truly driven by lack of $$$), and they are probably not that expensive. If you can't afford the cost, but you are an artist, you should have the ability to create something representative of your style. That would impress me more than something that looked like it was created for you or purchased.
But if you are going to try to create anything close to the example you showed and you have minimum experience using Flash, you aren't likely to get there from here in any near timeframe. For your current needs you may be better off just creating a web site using html pages for all the content. You may even be able to make it somewhat dynamic where you have a gallery, but it doesn't involve Flash.

my iPod nano g7 isn't showing up on iTunes although i plug it in. it shows on the computer but not on iTunes. also it won't sync , accept new songs and doesn't put on podcasts. it is new, i got it for christmas. PLEASE HELP

I am not sure what is the next step to do and how to resolve this issue.

My husband has an iPad and I just got one for me. We both have the same e-mail address. The message I get when I try to initiate setup is that the Apple ID is already in use. Any ideas on how to complete the setup of the new iPad since we both share the e-mail account?
If you selected open a new Apple ID account, go back a step and enter use existing Apple ID.
You will have to set up a separate iCloud account or your iPads will mirror each other. -

Whatever you read about iTunes is wrong unless you're actually referring to feature movies, not videos. Videos, apps, music and iBooks you can re-download:

Download to your computer and then sync to your iPod touch whatever will fit.
And no, I can't say with certainty that they won't give you a refund, but it's unlikely. The most probable outcome, if you do indeed mean movies, not TV shows or other videos, is that they would set up an additional download. For other content they'll probably just direct you to the same instructions on re-downloading I just posted. -
Please, the battery of my mac air does not last more than two hours, it's been over 30 days I sent for technical assistance and nothing! I am very disappointed with the mac air, I had a very different expectation of apples products!!!
Maybe the problem is not your MB Air......
Try these:
Make sure bluetooth is turned off if you're not using it.
Set your screen brightness to 4 bars.
See what's loading in your login items. Delete the ones you don't need.
Open Activity Monitor - under All Processes see what's using most of your CPU's resources.
Highlight the ones with the highest %CPU and hit quit process.
Remember that when Apple says that your battery should last 7 hours, they tested it just browsing the web and not have anything open in the background and screen is set at 50% brightness. -
iPhoto is appearing as free on MAC store and it is also featured as one of the top 10 free apps, when i downloaded it, my credit card got charged for 790 rupees. I am using the latest OSX Maverick.
And yet to download the app you clicked on a button that told you that the app would be 790 rupees for you.
The iLife apps and the iWork apps are only free when you qualify to get them free. And when you get them free the buy button to download them says free. When the buy button has a price on it, that is how much you will pay for the app. -
My iPad mini won't charge at all. I got it for Christmas off my dad and it is still in brand new condition. Until the other day it has been working fine but until yesterday or the day before my charger went all funny. In order to charge my iPad mini you had to put the charger in an exact place and if someone so much as touched it it would stop charging because it wasn't in its exact position. But today I tried to charge it again and I tried getting it in the same spot as yesterday but it is not working at all. I have only ever charged my iPad mini in the wall but I have seen posts about people charging it in the USB in an computer. So I thought I would also try that but that hasn't worked either and now my iPad mini won't charge in a plug or USB and I live really far away from an apple store and I can't get a new charger also because I live far away from the store. So what shall I do?
When and where was the iPad/charger purchased? It's covered by a 1-year warranty.
The problem may be the USB cable.

i have the ipod touch 4th generation and the screen is white, i was going to charge it and it turned white. I have tried to reset it but the apple logo will not show up and it will not turn on! i just got it for christmas... can you please help?
The way I did it was I got the free app sync:stream from the App Store and then added my ipod to my ps3's Bluetooth devices. Then went to audio settings and set output and input to 'Skaggs iPod' you then open the app and it will be listed under music as a media service. You then go to all tracks and click copy (press triangle) it will then begin to copy all of your songs onto your ps3 via Bluetooth. I haven't tried but I assume the same can be done with photos.
