Since you are more interested towards HR than ABAP, in long term you can think of moving into SAP HCM functional career. And to be able to work as a functional consultant, you need to have good amount of business process knowledge. Considering this you can start working in core HR and gain domain experience and move your career later towards functional area.
And more over you have ABAP HR experience,this will be very handy when you are a functional consultant.

Since you are more interested towards HR than ABAP, in long term you can think of moving into SAP HCM functional career. And to be able to work as a functional consultant, you need to have good amount of business process knowledge. Considering this you can start working in core HR and gain domain experience and move your career later towards functional area.
And more over you have ABAP HR experience,this will be very handy when you are a functional consultant.

Difference between SAP BC ABAP and SAP ABAP Training

What is the basic difference between SAP BC ABAP and SAP ABAP Training ?
Can any one answer these? I am little confused about the learning material I searched on internet and the course provided. It has similar topics but different name. I have course like SAP ABAP ECC 6.0 (TAW10 and TAW12) but on search I also found SAP BC ABAP beside this.

Configure SAP ABAP as service provider using SAML holder-of-key

We are trying to configure "SAML Holder of key" between Microsoft (as
a service consumer) and SAP ABAP (as service provider).
The service provider/SAP ABAP is release 7.11 and we need to configure this component.
We have found SAP note 1254821 and are trying to follow the instructions for
the "SAML Holder of key" scenario:
However there is one step that we do not understand: step 5 "The private key to decrypt the
encrypted....at the provider system must be a WS Security Identity in transaction TRUST"
Anyone who can elaborate of the meaning of this step and describe a procedure for what
exactly to do?

Hi,
a service provider needs to check two things when processing message. The first thing is that SAML assertion was issued by STS by checking signature of SAML assertion. The SAML assertion is signed by STS (step 4 in OSS note). The second thing is to verify that sender knows key from SubjectConfirmation element (that's why it is called holder of key). One way is to encrypt and sign SOAP message using symmetric key. There is also option to use asymmetric key. The key is encrypted by STS using the public key of service provider. Therefore the private key must be imported in service provider system (step 5 from OSS note). I Man Andrews completed my BE Mechnical engg and is trying to do sap abap from ATOS banglore I heard that training is good but need to know about the placement opportunities that they avail after completion of course and also opportunity for a fresher to get good job after certification

Yes offcourse... Most of the BE college freshers started their work in SAP ABAP only. The big companies recruit freshers and train them on Book Camp or Green field inbound SAP ABAP training.
Go ahead and start the SAP ABAP certification or else just ask any of your friends, they can help you to get in software companies where they can train SAP ABAP and put you in SAP project. You can reduce this way some cost from your side and get a job also.

If you want to work in Australia you will need to research the different VISA laws etc. Trying to come "onsite" is a challenge. SAP job demand goes through cycles and sometimes it is difficult to find a position. You might want to look at the large consultancies and see if there is an opportunity for onsite work as part of the project (more than likely make sponsorship easier).
The difficult challenge - most times development work is sent offshore (not all places of course). The work kept in Australia is either they cannot outsource it (federal government and so you need to be an Australian citizen) or it will be more senior staff (10+ years experience). It doesn't mean the work isn't available but you might be competing with other established professionals.

But my doubt is whether I can go ahead as SAP FICO(ABAP) consultant .

What are recruiters criteria for the same .
Can I go ahead as SAP techno functional consultant (ABAP/FICO).

I definitely see no harm in trying to be a FICO Consultant who knows ABAP (or vice-versa). I've seen some really crazy requirements come from recruiters and this combination was one of them.
Just to give you an idea, I've recruiters asking for ABAP with BASIS, ABAP with SOA experience, ABAP with SCM, ABAP with PP-DS, ABAP with SLT etc apart from clubbing ABAP with any of the core Functional Modules.
So yeah, if FICO is your "thing" and you think it will be a cake-walk then go for it.

Its clear that there are consultants with a shameful behavior, overselling themselves. But, in the other side that Jeyakanthan
tell us (an ABAPer with strong functional skills). If you are a functional with 10/15 years of experience, with 2 or more modules and you have ABAP skills (not all, of course, you develop your own enhancements/BADI/BTE, your ALV lists, perhaps you have problems with smartforms -ie: you are slow in the development of forms-, a little bit of ABAP OO, you are able to do traces and check bottlenecks...) ¿How do you sell yourself? ¿How do you improve your possibilities in the market?
