SAP Address Type on the SAP Web Gui - Assignment Blocks

Hello SAP Gurus
I am trying to configure system so that different Business Roles can only see different Address Type on the SAP Web Gui - is this possible ?
For instance Business Role  - "X" can only see the Standard Address Type and Business Role "Y" can not see the Standard Address but see other ones on the assignment blocks
Thank you

Hi Raj,
You can achieve this by enhancing the Addresses and Address Types assignment block.
Based on the Address Type 'Standard Address' entry, filter out the corresponding address
in the Addresses AB. This determination can be performed in the enhancement views.
Once the view are created, create a new configuration with Role config key 'Y''.
Add the enhancement views to the Displayed Assignment block section. And remove
the standard assignment blocks from this section so that they will not be available in
the personalization so that this user cannot view the standard address.

Leon

  • The type of the value (DBNull) being assigned to variable "User::AlereCoachingEnrolledID" differs from the current variable type (Int32)

Thanks for your review and am hopeful for a reply.

    Hi ITBobbyP,
As per my understanding, you created Execute SQL Task with the query and created a variable of int32, then set ResultSet to Full result set. When you run the package, you got the error message.
I reproduced the issue in my local machine, since the query can return a result set, you set type of variable to int32, so the error occurred. A Full result set must map to a variable of the Object data type. The return result is a rowset object. We can
use a Foreach Loop container to extract the table row values that are stored in the Object variable into package variables, and then use a Script Task to write the data stored in packages variables to a file.
For more information, please refer to Populating a variable with a result set section in the document:
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc280492.aspx
If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask.

  • WLC Web GUI Certificate type displayed

    Hi,
We Converted some APs from IOS to LWAPP and had them successfully Join a WLC.
We have, to date, never bought owned or otherwise possessed an AP which talks LWAPP out of the box.
However the WLC Web GUI says, under the Wireless heading, that AP Certificate Type is "Manufacture Installed" .
    Shouldn't it say "Self-Signed" ?
    regards, MH

    Thankyou for your reply.
    Looking at Cisco document,
"Upgrading Autonomous Cisco Aironet Access Points to Lightweight Mode"
I can see where it confirms what you said about MIC,
"Factory installed certificates are referenced by the term MIC, which is an acronym for Manufacturing
Installed Certificate. Cisco Aironet access points shipped before July 18, 2005, do not have MIC, so
these access points create a self-signed certificate when upgraded to operate in lightweight mode."
Most of this document talks about SSC not MIC and is indisciminate about the age of the AP.
So if I'm converting 1131AG APs bought in 2006 from Autononous to LWAPP am I dealing with MIC not SSC?

  • Colors not displaying in WEB GUI

    Hi,
In WEB GUI, I am unable to see the colors in my ALV Grid when the fields are in editable mode where as in SAP GUI am able to. There is no problem when the fields are in non-editable mode.
Can you help me out to view the colors in my ALV Grid for the editable fields in WEB GUI?
    Thanks,
    Adithya M.

You might be out of luck, because usually there are no specific settings for the WEB GUI. And one of the problems with WEB GUI is that it doesn't support all the functionality which is offered in your standard GUI. So it is possible that this is exactly one of the scenarios WEB GUI doesn't support. That is also the reason why not all SAP transaction work in WEB GUI. We had issues with parts of TEM transactions not working via WEB GUI.

  • Address Type for SD Customer

    Dear expert
In SAP - SPRO -> Cross-Application Components -> SAP Business Partner -> Basic Settings -> Address determination -> Define Address Type - we can maintain different address types.
However, when I create / maintain a SD customer in XD01 / XD02, I cannot see where I maintain the different address types.
Thanks in advance for your help,
    Regards, Stephanie

    Hi,
You can goto XD01/XD02 and in the General Data tab you can maintain the address of that particular customer. You cannot maintain different address types in the XD01/Xd02. The address type you are talking is related to Business Partner. Where you can define your own address type and assign the transaction to that address type. That is nothing to do with Customer in XD01/XD02 transaction.
    Thanks

  • ACE Web GUI Interesting Problem

I have a very strange issue with the ACE web GUI interface. I have 2 ACE's that are in Active/Standby setup with a floating management IP address for each context. Now when I try to login to the Web interface with the Floating Mgmt. IP address for one of my contexts it always takes me to the Admin context and not the one I am trying to hit. I did some testing and I found it does this with every context when you try to login to the Web interface using the floating IP address. If I use one of the real IP's of an individual ACE I am able to get logged into the correct context. Has anybody else run into this? Is there something I can do to fix it? Also I noticed that when you login to the web interface using that same floating IP address it always passes RADIUS requests as the Admin context IP address as well.

I don't see this problem with version A3(2.x)
    This was fixed with CSCso98451

ATA190: Web GUI page options are greyed out and device failed registration to CM 10.5
do anyone have a resolution o this issue?

Options Greyed out issue can be due to the below Bug, which is listed as just cosmetic:

    Description
    Symptom:
ATA190: Web GUI page options are greyed out.
Most of the options in the Web GUI of the ATA 190 are greyed out and cannot be configured. There is no option in CUCM configuration page or the ATA190 Web GUI to unlock the configuration options.
Here is a list of a few of the pages that are greyed out and do not allow any editing:
Network Setup > Basic Setup > Internet Settings
Network Setup > Basic Setup > Time Settings
Network Setup > Advanced Settings > VLAN
Network Setup > Advanced Settings > CDP & LLDP

    Administration> Log > Log Setting
    Administration> Log > Log Viewer
    Conditions:
ATA 190 Devices running firmware version running 1.1.0 (006)
    Workaround:
These options are not configurable and are supposed to be view only. The issue is cosmetic.
Most of the Configurable settings are available under the Voice Menu and Administrative Menu.

  • Address number , person number and address type in Ship to address

    HI All,
We  are working on SRM 6.0.
In our system we have ship to address as partner function 27 in  shopping cart line item  .
If all the line items in the same shopping cart have same address  then also we are getting different  address number , person number and address type in the partner functions of SC line items.
In ship to partner function,  how the address number , person number and address type is decided?
Your inputs will be valuable for us.
    Thanks
    Snehal

    Hi
Ship to address no is set up at company level - you can also create a ship to address and you can main in the attribute ship to address.
if you enter the ship to address manually then new address number might be created.
What is the setting in your existing system.
for eg. create a sc with 2 line item  let one from inherited ship to address and anothe ritem you undo them and enter new address.
and click partner function 27 for line item 1 and 2 in the bbp_pd and it takes you to crmd_partner table and show you different address no.

  • Assigning the SAP CRM 7sales transaction type to view in WEB UI?

    Hi CRM Experts,
Can anyone show me th path or TCode, where the Business transaction types (Leads, Quotation and orders) are assigned in the backend of SAP CRM to reflect the same in the front end i.e.,  WEB UI?
    Would appreciate responding  ASAP.
    Regards
    Succhi

Yes, as Jan said, this is done in basic customaziong of transaction types under spro>crm>transactions>basic settings>define transaction types. There you define for each transaction type the Transaction Category that it is using. Like for lead it is BUS2000108, for opportunity it is BUS2000111 and for quotations and orders it is BUS2000115. Quotations and orders have the same transaction category but then it depends on the customization of item categories that are assigned to the transaction type if they behave as order or as quotation.

  • Customize Local Layout in SAP R/3 Web GUI?

We are using IC WebClient with a link to R/3 4.6c for order entry.  The users want to be able to have the same control in the R/3 Web GUI that they do in the native R/3 GUI (eg. automatic tabbing at end of field).  In native R/3, this is controlled via the 'Customize Local Layout' icon on the toolbar, but this icon does not exist in the Web GUI.  Does anyone know if this kind of control is available with the R/3 Web GUI?
    Thanks for your consideration.
    Kathleen McCullough

Per OSS - "Differently from SAPGUI, Web UI is built in a navigator envinronment (Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Safari...). Thus the requested functionality depends on the browser, not on any SAP setting.
To my knowledge, this feature is not available in Internet Explorer, butyou can always write a simple Java routine that does the job. I found an article that you can use to start your investigation. Please, check it here:

  • SAP Transactions available in Web GUI

    Folks-
Need some help. Our client is implementing SAP where the user community will only have access to the webgui. Is there some sort of list, or other means, to determine the delta between what transactions are offered in the regular SAP GUI vs what is available in the web gui?
I imagine this list would be very small, but it is crucial for us to be aware of what we will not have have access to in the web gui.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Tcodes depends on the role and profile allocated to the user.
Tcodes which you have the access to SAP GUI will be same as for WEBGUI.
As a part of Basis Person I have the basis roles for SAP GUI
The same tcodes which I can access from SAP GUI is same I can access from WEBGUI.

  • Advantages of sap gui over sap web

    hi experts,
currently we are using sap gui. but we experiencing some slowing especially on peak working hours where users are making use of many transactions. I know that this is normal on those cases. My question is, if we are going for sap web. will it be more faster? efficient to use than the sap gui? this will be in terms of exporting reports and transactions. We havent tried the sap web yet. But we assume that, if we have it on web, it will be faster since only the data will be loaded and no more application gui.
    Please suggest.
    Thank you in advance

    Hi,
I don't think it will give best result from performance point of view.
In your case, it's problem with huge load during peak hours, not with GUI you are using. Slowness during peak hours can be reduced by tunning your system from memory and resource point of view. SAP GUI and SAP WEB do not make big difference in terms of performance and response.
There are more disadvantages than advantages. SAP WEB needs more network capacity and graphics do not look good.
    Hope it helps.
    Thanks,
    Siva Kumar
